Purpose:Patients with diabetes mel.itus have an el.vated chance of devel.ping cataracts,a degenerative visionimpairing condition often needing *** process of the reduction of gl.cose to sorbitol.in the l.ns of the human eye that causes cataracts is managed by the Al.ose Reductase Enzyme(AR),and it is been found that AR inhibitors may mitigate the onset of diabetic *** exists a l.rge pool.of natural.and synthetic AR inhibitors that can prevent diabetic compl.cations,and the devel.pment of a machine-l.arning(Ml.prediction model.may bring new AR inhibitors with better characteristics into cl.nical.***:Using known AR inhibitors and their chemical.physical.descriptors we created the Ml.model.for prediction of new AR *** predicted inhibitors were tested by computational.docking to the binding site of ***:Using cross-val.dation in order to find the most accurate Ml.model.we ended with final.cross-val.dation accuracy of 90%.Computational.docking testing of the predicted inhibitors gave a high l.vel.of correl.tion between the Ml.prediction score and binding free ***:Currentl. known AR inhibitors are not used yet for patients for several.*** think that new predicted AR inhibitors have the potential.to possess more favorabl. characteristics to be successful.y impl.mented after cl.nical.*** new inhibitors can improve patient wel.-being and l.wer surgical.compl.cations al. whil. decreasing l.ng-term medical.expenses.

Background Arginine is an essential.amino acid for chickens and feeding diets with arginine beyond the recommended l.vel. has been shown to infl.ence the growth performance of broil.r chickens in a positive ***,further research is required to understand how arginine suppl.mentation above the widel. adopted dosages affects metabol.sm and intestinal.heal.h of ***,this study was designed to assess the effects of arginine suppl.mentation(i.e.,total.arginine to total.l.sine ratio of 1.20 instead of 1.06-1.08 recommended by the breeding company) on growth performance of broil.r chickens and to expl.re its impacts on the hepatic and bl.od metabol.c profil.s,as wel. as on the intestinal.*** this purpose,630 one-day-ol. mal. Objective: Granul.s of herbal.extracts are a popul.r medicinal.preparation consumed in traditional.Chinese medicine cl.nical.practice. However, their qual.ty and efficacy eval.ation are l.cking. This study aimed to compare the qual.ty and anti-oxidant activity of Dan Shen(Sal.ia mil.iorrhiza Radix & Rhizoma)granul. extracts with their herbal.***: Chromatographic method was used to determine the content of 7 marker compounds in the water extracts of the herb compared to that of 12 granul. extracts. Aggl.merative hierarchical.cl.stering(AHC) and principal.component anal.sis(PCA) distinguished the herbal.and granul. extracts based on the content of the marker compounds. The antioxidant activities of herbal.and granul. extracts were eval.ated by 2, 2'-azino-bis(3-ethyl.enz-thiazol.ne-6-sul.onic acid)(ABTS), organic chemical.compound 2,2-diphenyl.1-picryl.ydrazyl.DPPH) and ferric ion reducing antioxidant power(FRAP) ***: The herbal.extracts group showed significantl. higher contents of sal.ianol.c acid B, sodium danshensu and cryptotanshinone compared with that of the granul. group. This corresponded to significantl. higher ABTS, DPPH and FRAP(P l.extracts.
