The nitrogen doped graphene was synthesized by hydrothermal route utilizing 2-Chloroethylamine hydrochloride as nitrogen precursor in the presence of graphene oxide (GO). Nitrogen-doped graphene material is developed for its application in hydrogen storage at room temperature. Nitrogen doped graphene layered material shows ~1.5 wt% hydrogen storage capacity achieved at room temperature and 90 bar pressure.

Background Ni-kshay Poshan Yojana (NPY) is a direct benefit transfer scheme of the Government of India introduced in 2018 to support the additional nutritional requirements of persons with TB (PwTB). Our recent nationwide evaluation of implementation and utilization of NPY using programmatic data of PwTB from nine randomly selected Indian states, reported a 70% coverage and high median delay in benefit credit. We undertook a qualitative study between January and July 2023, to understand the detailed implementation process of NPY and explore the enablers and barriers to effective implementation and utilization of the NPY *** We followed a grounded theory approach to inductively develop theoretical explanations for social phenomena through data generated from multiple sources. We conducted 36 in-depth interviews of national, district and field-level staff of the National Tuberculosis Elimination Programme (NTEP) and NPY beneficiaries from 30 districts across nine states of India, selected using theoretical sampling. An analytical framework developed through inductive coding of a set of six interviews, guided the coding of the subsequent interviews. Categories and themes emerged through constant comparison and the data collection continued until theoretical *** Stakeholders perceived NPY as a beneficial initiative. Strong political commitment from the state administration, mainstreaming of NTEP work with the district public healthcare delivery system, availability of good geographic and internet connectivity and state-specific grievance redressal mechanisms and innovations were identified as enablers of implementation. Objective:To investigate the bioactive-constituents of Shemamruthaa(SM),a herbal combination and its therapeutic effects on the mitochondrial functions with reference to lipid peroxidation(LPO),antioxidant status,citric acid cycle enzymes and electron transport chain enzymes in mammary tissues of 7,12-dimethylbenz(a)-anthracene(DMBA)induced mammary carcinoma in rat ***:Adult Female Sprague-Dawley rats were used for the study and were divided into four ***Ⅰserved as control and CroupⅡrats were induced mammary carcinoma by administration of DMBA(25 mg/kg b.w.)*** normal and cancer-induced rats(GroupⅢ)were treated with SM(400 mg/kg b.w./day)orally by gastric incubation for ***Ⅳrats served as SM-treated control ***:Cancer-induced rats showed a considerably increased level of LPO with concomitant decreased levels of antioxidants,citric acid cycle enzymes,electron transport chain enzymes and cytochrome contents in the mammary *** with SM brought back the aforementioned biochemical parameters to near ***:From the results,it can be inferred that Shemamruthaa possesses significant anticancer effect through its role in attenuation of LPO,prevention of membrane damage and restoring membrane integrity.

Four binol based pyrrole carboxamide chiral receptors has been synthesized and effectively used as a Chirality Conversion Reagent (CCR) for underivatized amino acids. Three points of interactions take place for the conversion process. They are the reversible imine formation, the internal resonance assisted Hydrogen Bonding (RAHB) and the additional hydrogen bonds between the amino acids and the heterocylic moiety of the pendant groups. The conversion efficiency of all the receptors was found to be comparable with those of the receptors reported earlier.

Materials with large non-linear optical properties are good candidates for applications in the fields of telecommunications, solar energy conversion, laser treatment and so on. In the present study, a crystal of Ammonium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate doped with Acridine Orange, possessing excellent nonlinear optical properties were grown by the slow solvent evaporation technique at 25°C using a constant temperature bath. Ammonium dihydrogen orthophosphate doped with Acridine Orange were synthesized in a large quantity via solution growth method using aqueous mixtures of Ammonium Dihydrogen Orthophosphate and Acridine Orange. The morphological characteristics were studied by field emission scanning electron microscopy which revealed that the synthesized product possesses needle shaped microstructures. The mechanical properties are studied by Vicker’s micro hardness test.

Nowadays, the major part and most standard networks usually used in several applications are Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). It consists of different nodes which communicate each other for data transmission. There is no access point to control the nodes in the network. This makes the network to undergo severe attacks from both passive and active devices. Due to this attack, the network undergoes downgrade performance. To overcome these attacks, security based routing protocol is proposed with the security based wormhole detection scheme. This scheme comprises of two phases. In this approach, the detection of wormhole attacks is deployed for having correct balance between safe route and stability. Also, to ensure packets integrity cryptographic scheme is used as well as authenticity while travelling from source to destination nodes. By extensive simulation, the proposed scheme achieves enhanced performance of packet delivery ratio, end to end delay, throughput and overhead than the existing schemes.
