Conditioning regimens employed in autologous stem cell transplantation have been proven useful in various hematological disorders and underlying malignancies;however,despite being efficacious in various instances,negative consequences have also been *** conditioning regimens were extracted from various literature searches from databases like PubMed,Google scholar,EMBASE,and *** regimens for each disease were compared by using various end points such as overall survival(OS),progression free survival(PFS),and leukemia free survival(LFS).Variables were presented on graphs and analyzed to conclude a more efficacious conditioning *** multiple myeloma,the most effective regimen was high dose melphalan(MEL)given at a dose of 200/mg/*** comparative results of acute myeloid leukemia were presented and the regimens that proved to be at an admirable position were busulfan(BU)+MEL regarding OS and BU+vp16 regarding *** case of acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL),BU,fludarabine,and etoposide(BuFluvp)conferred good disease control not only with a paramount improvement in survival rate but also low risk of ***,for ALL,chimeric antigen receptor(CAR)T cell therapy was preferred in the context of better OS and *** respect to Hodgkin’s lymphoma,mitoxantrone(MITO)/MEL overtook carmustine,vp16,cytarabine,and MEL in view of PFS and vice versa regarding ***-Hodgkin’s lymphoma patients were administered MITO(60 mg/m2)and MEL(180 mg/m2)which showed promising ***,amyloidosis was considered,and the regimen that proved to be competent was MEL 200(200 mg/m2).This review article demonstrates a comparison between various conditioning regimens employed in different diseases.

The present study is related to design a stochastic framework for the numerical treatment of the Van der Pol heartbeat model(vp-HBM)using the feedforward artificial neural networks(ANNs)under the optimization of particle swarm optimization(PSO)hybridized with the active-set algorithm(ASA),i.e.,*** global search PSO scheme and local refinement of ASA are used as an optimization procedure in this *** error-based merit function is defined using the differential vp-HBM form as well as the initial *** optimization of the merit function is accomplished using the hybrid computing performances of *** designed performance of ANNs-PSO-ASA is implemented for the numerical treatment of the vp-HBM dynamics by fluctuating the pulse shape adjustment terms,external forcing factor and damping coefficient with fixed ventricular contraction *** perform the correctness of the present scheme,the obtained numerical results through the designed ANN-PSO-ASA will be compared with the Adams numerical *** statistical investigations with larger dataset are provided using the“mean absolute deviation”,“Theil’s inequality coefficient”and“variance account for”operators to perform the applicability,reliability,and effectiveness of the designed ANNs-PSO-ASA scheme for solving the vp-HBM.

Infectious bursal disease(IBD),caused by IBD virus(IBDV),is one of the most devastating and immunosuppressive diseases of the poultry and has been a constraint on the sustainable poultry production around the globe including *** the disease is threatening the poulty industry,the nature of predominant strains of IBDV in Pakistan remained *** this study,an epidemiology survey was conducted in the main chicken-farming regions of *** batch of Pakistan IBDVs genes simultaneously covering both vp1 and vp2 were amplified,sequenced,and *** unique segment-reassortant IBDVs(vv-A/Uniq-B),carrying segmentA from vvIBDV and segment B from one unique ancestor,were identifed as one important type of circulating strains in *** data also discovered the characteristic molecular features of Pakistan IBDVs,which will contribute to scientific vaccine selection and effective prevention of the disease.

AIM: To evaluate the treatment of pediatric functional chronic intestinal constipation (FCIC) with a probiotic goat yogurt. METHODS: A crossover double-blind formula-controlled trial was carried out on 59 students (age range: 5-15 years) of a public school in Belo Horizonte, MG, Brazil, presenting a FCIC diagnostic, according to Roma Ⅲ criteria. The students were randomized in two groups to receive a goat yogurt supplemented with 109 colony forming unit/mL Bifidobacterium longum (***) (probiotic) daily or only the yogurt for a period of 5 wk (formula). Afterwards, the groups were intercrossed for another 5 wk. Defecation frequency, stool consistency and abdominal and defecation pain were ***: Both treatment groups demonstrated improvement in defecation frequency compared to baseline. However, the group treated with probiotic showed most signif icant improvement in the f irst phase of the study. An inversion was observed after crossing over, resulting in a reduction in stool frequency when this group was treated by formula. Probiotic and formula improved stool consistency in the f irst phase of treatment, but the improvement obtained with probiotic was significantly higher (P = 0.03). In the second phase of treatment, the group initially treated with probiotic showed worseningstool consistency when using formula. However, the difference was not signif icant. A signif icant improvement in abdominal pain and defecation pain was observed with both probiotic and formula in the first phase of treatment, but again the improvement was more signif icant for the group treated with B. longum during phase I (P < 0.05). When all data of the crossover study were analyzed, significant differences were observed between probiotic yogurt and yogurt only for defecation frequency (P = 0.012), defecation pain (P = 0.046) and abdominal pain (P = 0.015).

脊髓损伤是一类通常由创伤所致感觉和运动功能受损的临床常见疾病，其病理生理改变主要发生初损伤过程及二次损伤过程，可直接导致器官功能障碍、组织坏死、感觉和运动功能的不可逆病变，甚至死亡的严重后果。为抑制二次损伤和修复受损的中枢神经系统，国内、外开展了广泛的探索与尝试，修复手段包括药物治疗、手术减压、生物材料移植、自体外周神经移植等方法，但临床疗效并不满意。干细胞具有可促进神经细胞再生及直接分化成神经样细胞的可能，同时具有抗炎、抗凋亡、抗氧化应激、促分泌营养因子及促血管再生等多重疗效，因此干细胞移植修复脊髓损伤近年来为脊髓损伤患者带来了新的希望。在众多类型的干细胞中，间质干细胞由于其具有机体内分布广、分化潜能强、分离难度低、体外保存扩增易操作及可避免伦理道德等特点，并已在体外、动物和临床等不同层面进行了一系列尝试，取得了一定的成果。近年来，间质干细胞移植在脊髓损伤的修复研究过程中取得了重要进展，随着多项临床试验的结束，已有临床报道提示间质干细胞在修复脊髓损伤的临床转化方面具有良好的前景，同时也对其临床转化提出了更深层、更具体的思考和要求。本文将基于近三年内最新报道的文献和笔者研究团队的近期研究成果，对间质干细胞移植修复脊髓损伤从基础研究到临床转化以及其发展前景做一系统综述。

在聚多巴胺修饰的基底表面同时接枝端基为氨基的聚(2-甲基-2-噁唑啉)和端基为巯基的聚(4-乙烯吡啶),制备了聚(2-甲基-2-噁唑啉)/聚(4-乙烯吡啶)混合刷.通过X射线光电子能谱、可变角光谱型椭偏仪、zeta电位仪和静态水接触角对涂层进行表征.结果表明,混合刷的组成可以通过改变聚(2-甲基-2-噁唑啉)和聚(4-乙烯吡啶)的投料比控制.此外,改变环境pH值和混合刷组成比例可以调节混合刷涂层表面的zeta电位和水接触角.采用异硫氰酸荧光素标记胃蛋白酶.和表面等离子体共振研究了胃蛋白酶在聚(2-甲基-2-噁唑啉)/聚(4-乙烯吡啶)混合刷表面的响应性吸附/脱附能力结果表明,通过调整聚(2-甲基-2-噁唑啉)或聚(4-乙烯吡啶)的组分比,在pH=3时,聚(2-甲基-2-噁唑啉)/聚(4-乙烯吡啶)混合刷表面可以吸附大量的胃蛋白酶;在pH=7时,脱附效率达到92%以上.
