Purpose:The aim of the study was to examine the influence of the surgical approach for robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy(RALP)on long-term urinary continence status in the era of self-reported functional status measures using the Expanded Prostate Can-cer Index Composite 26.Materials and methods:This is a prospective evaluation of 232 patients undergoing RALP between September,2019 and September,*** continence status and postoperative incontinence(pad usage)were evaluated 12 months after RALP using Expanded Prostate Cancer Index Composite 26 *** were categorized according to their surgical approach and outcome into the following groups:successful nerve sparing(NS),primarily without nerve sparing(***),and no nerve sparing by secondary resection(NNS by SR).The median levels of their questionnaire outcomes were evaluated and compared using the Wilcoxon rank sum test with continuity correction.Results:Urinary continence status 12 months after RALP differed significantly between the NS and ***(p=0.0071)and the NS and NNS by SR(p=0.0076)*** was no significant difference between the *** and NNS by SR(p=0.53)*** usage 12 months after RALP had no significant difference with regard to SR of the neurovascular bundle(p=0.14).Conclusions:Patient-reported outcomes of long-term urinary continence status seem to show no difference in postoperative conti-nence,regardless of whether a non-nerve-sparing result was planned or reached through ***,preservation of neurovascular bundle seems to lead to better long-term continence rates.

The need for region-specific food intake values to accurately estimate food allergen risk is underscored by the recent Ad Hoc Joint Food and Agriculture Organization/World Health Organization(FAO/WHO)Expert Consultation on Risk Assessment of Food Allergens(1).A recent study published by Sun et *** China CDC Weekly 2022,titled A Chinese-Specific Reference Amounts Study with TNO Food Allergen Risk Assessment Models—China,2022,critically examines and applies a previously established sensitivity analysis aimed at deriving food intake values for food allergen risk assessment(RA)(2–3).In their examination of Chinese food consumption data,the authors find that“the 95th–99th percentiles of the food consumption distribution per eating occasion for condiments and chocolates are the optimal point estimates for use in deterministic allergen RA,aiming to protect 99%of allergic individuals from allergic reactions due to unintended peanut presence.”

We show the close connection between apparently different Galois theories for comodules introduced recently in [J. Gomez-Torrecillas and J. Vercruysse, Comatrix corings and Galois Comodules over firm rings, Algebr. Represent. Theory, 10 （2007）, 271 306] and [Wisbauer, On Galois comodules, Comm. Algebra 34 （2006）, 2683-2711]. Furthermore we study equivalences between categories of comodules over a coring and modules over a firm ring. We show that these equivalences are related to Galois theory for comodules.

Thin-film devices made of room-temperature liquid metals(LMs)have contributed to the development of electronic skin for human-robot/machine interfaces but still have limitations,including degradations of performance and robustness under repeated *** this paper,we describe an interesting phenomenon of the formation of LM microscale networks(LMMNs)and propose to use the LMMNs for fabricating thin-film conductors.A simple layer-by-layer(LBL)deposition process enables the growth of a hierarchical structure of LM microdroplets that forms a conductive network(i.e.,LMMN)when *** strain-history behavior of LMMNs allows conductivity enhancement up to 2.37×10^(6) S m^(-1) in response to increased tensile *** adjusting the number of LM layers in LBL deposition,the gauge factor(0.2≤GF≤1),the linearity,and the sheet resistance of LMMN films can be easily controlled,providing high potentials in various applications,including skin-mountable circuits,energy harvesters,and soft artificial skin.

China is in a dominant position in apple production globally with both the largest apple growing area and the largest export of fresh apple fruits. However, the annual productivity of China＇s apple is significantly lower than that of other dominant apple producing countries. In addition, apple production is based on excessive application of chemical fertilizers and the nutrient use efficiency （especially nitrogen） is therefore low and the nutrient emissions to the environment are high. Apple production in China is considerably contributes to farmers＇ incomes and is important as export product. There is an urgent need to enhance apple productivity and improve nutrient use efficiencies in intensive apple production systems in the country. These can be attained by improved understanding of production potential, yield gaps, nutrient use and best management in apple orchards. To the end, priorities in research on apple production systems and required political support are described which may lead to more sustainable and environmental-friendly intensification of apple production in China.

As a member of the 2 D family of materials, h-BN is an intrinsic insulator and could be employed as a dielectric or insulating inter-layer in ultra-thin devices. Monolayer h-BN can be synthesized on Rh(111) surfaces using borazine as a precursor. Using in-situ variable-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy(STM), we directly observed the formation of h-BN in real-time. By analyzing the deposition under variable substrate temperatures and the filling rate of the h-BN overlayer vacant hollows during growth, we studied the growth kinetics of how the borazine molecules construct the h-BN overlayer grown on the Rh surface.
