AIm: To evaluate the results of the treatment of simple liver cysts (solitary and multiple) and polycystic liver disease (PLD) using percutaneous sclerotherapy and/or surgical procedures in a single tertiary referral centre. mETHODS: Retrospective analysis of 54 patients referred for evaluation and possible treatment of simple liver cysts (solitary and multiple) and PLD, from January 1997 to July 2006. RESULTS: Simple liver cysts were treated in 41 pts (76/) with a mean size of 12.6 cm. The most common reason for referral was abdominal pain or discomfort (85/). Percutaneous sclerotherapy was performed as initial treatment in 30 pts, showing cyst recurrence in 6 pts (20/). Surgical treatment was initially performed in 11 pts with cyst recurrence in 3 pts (27/). PLD was treated in 13 pts (24/) with a mean size of the dominant cyst of 13 cm. Percutaneous sclerotherapy for PLD was performed in 9 pts with recurrence in 7 pts (77.8/). Surgical treatment for PLD was undertaken in 4 pts (30.8/) with recurrence in all. Eventually, 2 pts with PLD in the presence of polycystic kidney disease underwent liver-and kidney transplantation because of deterioration of liver and kidney function. CONCLUSION: The majority of patients with simple liver cysts and PLD are referred for progressive abdominal pain. As initial treatment, percutaneous sclerotherapy is appropriate. Surgical deroofing is indicated in caseof cyst recurrence after percutaneous sclerotherapy. However, the results of percutaneous sclerotherapy and surgical treatment for PLD are disappointing. Partial liver resection is indicated when there is suspicion of a pre-malignant lesion.

好氧颗粒污泥技术具有占地面积小、能耗低、剩余污泥量少、抗冲击性强等优点,是一种可持续的污水处理技术。以北京某污水处理厂实际生活污水作为基质,在中试规模(有效容积为2.5 m3)反应器中进行好氧颗粒污泥培养,研究了颗粒污泥在低温条件下的稳定性。中试自夏季开始运行到次年春季结束,共计运行260 d。结果表明,采用我国实际低碳源市政污水可以培养出好氧颗粒污泥,污泥颗粒化程度可达94%,SVI_(5)/SVI_(30)为1.1~1.3。冬季低温会造成颗粒污泥的枝状结构增多、丝状菌生长,进而引起颗粒化比例略有下降,为80%~91%,污泥平均粒径降低,SVI_(5)/SVI_(30)升高至1.5~1.8。在冬季低温条件下,通过优化调控进水流量、曝气时长、曝气过程DO浓度可提高脱氮效率。中试期间各阶段反应器出水COD、TP、NH_(4)^(+)-N以及TN均可以满足GB 18918—2002的一级A排放标准,但是低温条件下TN去除率略有下降(降幅为6%~9%),存在一定超标风险。

Immunosuppressive regulatory T lymphocytes （Treg） expressing the transcription factor Foxp3 play a vital role in the maintenance of tolerance of the immune-system to self and innocuous non-self. most Treg that are critical for the maintenance of tolerance to self, develop as an independent T-cell lineage from common T cell precursors in the thymus. In this organ, their differentiation requires signals from the T cell receptor for antigen, from co-stimulatory molecules, as well as from cytokine-receptors. Here we focus on the cytokines implicated in thymic development of Treg, with a particular emphasis on the roles of interleukin-2 （IL-2） and IL-15. The more recently appreciated involvement of TGF-β in thymic Treg development is also briefly discussed. Finally, we discuss how cytokine-dependence of Treg development allows for temporal, quantitative, and potentially qualitative modulation of this process.

We transform the Yamabe equation on a ball of arbitrary dimension greater than two into a nonlinear singularly boundary value problem on the unit interval[0;1].Then we apply Lie-group shooting method(LGSm)to search a missing initial condition of slope through a weighting factor r 2(0;1).The best r is determined by matching the right-end boundary *** the initial slope is available we can apply the group preserving scheme(GPS)to calculate the solution,which is highly *** LGSm we obtain precise radial symmetric solutions of the Yamabe *** results are useful in demonstrating the utility of Lie-group based numerical approaches to solving nonlinear differential equations.

The high Li-ion conductivity of the Li7P3S11 sulfide-based solid electrolyte makes it a promising candidate for all-solid-state lithium batteries. The Li-ion transport over electrode-electrolyte and electrolyteelectrolyte interfaces, vital for the performance of solid-state batteries, is investigated by impedance spectroscopy and solid-state NmR experiments. An all-solid-state Li-ion battery is assembled with the Li7P3S11 electrolyte, nano-Li2S cathode and Li-In foil anode, showing a relatively large initial discharge capacity of 1139.5 m Ah/g at a current density of 0.064 m A/cm^ 2 retaining 850.0 m Ah/g after 30 cycles. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy suggests that the decrease in capacity over cycling is due to the increased interfacial resistance between the electrode and the electrolyte. 1D exchange ^7Li NmR quantifies the interfacial Li-ion transport between the uncycled electrode and the electrolyte, resulting in a diffusion coefficient of 1.70(3) ×10^-14cm^2/s at 333 K and an energy barrier of 0.132 e V for the Li-ion transport between Li2S cathode and Li7P3S11 electrolyte. This indicates that the barrier for Li-ion transport over the electrode-electrolyte interface is small. However, the small diffusion coefficient for Li-ion diffusion between the Li2S and the Li7P3S11 suggests that these contact interfaces between electrode and electrolyte are relatively scarce, challenging the performance of these solid-state batteries.
