In cloud environment,an efficient resource management establishes the allocation of computational resources of cloud service providers to the requests of users for meeting the user’s *** proficient resource management and work allocation determines the accomplishment of the cloud ***,it is very difficult to persuade the objectives of the Cloud Service Providers(CSPs)and end users in an impulsive cloud domain with random changes of workloads,huge resource availability and complicated service policies to handle them,With that note,this paper attempts to present an Efficient Energy-Aware Resource Management Model(EEARMM)that works in a decentralized ***,the model involves in reducing the number of migrations by definite workload management for efficient resource *** is,it makes an effort to reduce the amount of physical devices utilized for load balancing with certain resource and energy consumption management of every *** Estimation Model Algorithm(EMA)is given for determining the virtual machine ***,vM-Selection Algorithm(SA)is also provided for choosing the appropriate vM to migrate for resource *** the incorporation of these algorithms,overloading of vM instances can be avoided and energy efficiency can be improved *** performance evaluation and comparative analysis,based on the dynamic workloads in different factors provides evidence to the efficiency,feasibility and scalability of the proposed model in cloud domain with high rate of resources and workload management.

Fuel is a very important factor and has considerable inﬂuence on the air quality in the environment,which is the heart of the *** increase of vehi-cles in lived-in areas results in greater emission of carbon particles in the *** fuel causes more contaminated particles to mix with breathing air and becomes the main source of dangerous *** is the mixing of foreign substances in fuel,which damages vehicles and causes more health problems in living beings such as humans,birds,aquatic life,and even water resources by emitting high levels of hydrocarbons,nitrogen oxides,and carbon *** frequent blending liquids are lubricants and kerosene in the petrol,and its adulteration is a considerable problem that adds to environ-mental *** study focuses on detecting the adulteration in petrol using sensors and machine learning algorithms.A modiﬁed evanescent wave opticalﬁber sensor with discrete wavelet transform is proposed for classiﬁcation of adult-erated data from the ***,support vector machine classiﬁer is used for accurate *** sensor isﬁrst tested with fuel and numerical data is classiﬁed based on machine learning ***,the result is eval-uated with less error and high accuracy of 99.9%,which is higher than all existing techniques.

Jatropha oil methyl ester and its blends used as an alternative fuel in diesel engine

Biomass derived vegetable oils are quite promising alternative fuels for agricultural diesel *** of vegetable oils in diesel engines leads to slightly inferior performance and higher smoke emissions due to their high *** performance of vegetable oils can be improved by modifying them through the transesterification *** this present work,the performance of single cylinder water-cooled diesel engine using methyl-ester of Jatropha oil as the fuel was evaluated for its performance and exhaust *** fuel properties of biodiesel such as kinematic viscosity,calorific value,flash point,carbon residue and specific gravity were *** indicate that B25 has closer performance to diesel and B100 has lower brake thermal efficiency mainly due to its high viscosity compared to *** brake thermal efficiency for biodiesel and its blends was found to be slightly higher than that of diesel fuel at tested load conditions and there was no difference of efficiency between the biodiesel and its blended *** Jatropha biodiesel and its blended fuels,the exhaust gas temperature increased with the increase of power and amount of ***,its diesel blends showed reasonable efficiencies,lower smoke,CO_(2),CO and HC emissions.

Can Intensified Tuberculosis Case Finding Efforts at Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers Lead to Pediatric Case Detection in Bihar, India?

Introduction: Seven district-level Nutritional Rehabilitation Centres (NRCs) in Bihar, India provide clinical and nutritional care for children with severe acute malnutrition (SAM). Aim: To assess whether intensified case finding (ICF) strategies at NRCs can lead to pediatric case detection among SAM children and link them to TB treatment under the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP). Materials and Methods: A retrospective cohort study was conducted that included medical record reviews of SAM children registered for TB screening and RNTCP care during July-December 2012. Results: Among 440 SAM children screened, 39 (8.8%) were diagnosed with TB. Among these, 34 (87%) initiated TB treatment and 18 (53%) were registered with the RNTCP. Of 16 children not registered under the RNTCP, nine (56%) weighed below six kilo-grams—the current weight requirement for receiving drugs under RNTCP. Conclusion: ICF approaches are feasible at NRCs;however, screening for TB entails diagnostic challenges, especially among SAM children. However, only half of the children diagnosed with TB were treated by the RNTCP. More effort is needed to link this vulnerable population to TB services in addition to introducing child-friendly drug formulations for covering children weighing less than six kilo-grams.

gonioscopy: A Review

gonioscopy allows us to examine the angle of anterior chamber and forms part of complete ophthalmic examination and it is mandatory for the diagnosis and management of glaucoma. gonioscopy permits the identification of eyes at risk for closure and detects angle abnormalities that could have diagnostic and therapeutic implications. Principle, types and techniques of gonioscopy, various types of gonioscopic lenses used, indications of performing gonioscopy, gonioscopic anatomy and grading are discussed in this article.

本文分析了几种水胶炸药的氧平衡、惰性物含量、各爆轰参数计算值与引烯性(?)之间的关系。已经研究出一种数学方法,以确立若干现有炸药的组成参数和安全性试验结果的相互关系。这种方法,涉及两类炸药的组成和三种安全性试验,根据炸药的爆轰能、氧平衡和组成中水百分含量和氯化钠百分含量,就能预测其安全性试验的结果,异常情况小于10％。可以认为,这种方法将有助于设计安全性试验合格率很高的新炸药配方。

Mechanical, thermal and fire nanoclay/vinylester retardation behaviours of nanocomposites

The dispersion of montmorillonite （MMT） in vinylester for preparing nanoclay/vinylester gel coat was reported. Two sets of MMT/vinylester specimens, namely Type I and Type 2, were prepared for comparative studies. Type I specimens were prepared using ultrasonication only, and Type 2 specimens were prepared using both ultrasonication and twin-screw extrusion. According to XRD and TEM results, Type 2 specimens showed lower levels of nanoclay agglomeration and higher levels o! exfoliation. DSC results showed that the glass transition temperatures of Type 2 specimens are higher than those of Type 1 specimens. TgA results showed that the residual weight of 4 wt.% MMT/vinylester of Type 1 was 7.38%, while the corresponding value of Type 2 was 13,5%, indicating lower thermal degradation in the latter. MMTt vinylester/glass and MMT/vinylester/carbon specimens were fabricated and tested for mechanical and fire retardation behaviours. Type 2 based nanocomposite laminates showed greater values of ultimate tensile strength, flexural strength, interlaminar shear strength, impact strength, horizontal burning rate, and vertical burning rate than Type 1 based laminates. SEM images of tensile fractured surfaces revealed that Type 2 based laminates have no or less agglomeration of nanoclay than Type 1 based laminates.

Study of Fruit Diversity and Selection of Elite Acid Lime (<i>Citrus aurantifolia Swingle</i>) genotypes in Nepal

Acid lime (Citrus aurantifolia) fruits are cultivated in terai, mid hill and high hill districts of Nepal. It is cross-pollinated crop and has a high variation in fruit characters within the species. Fruit character is the main basis of genotype selection. Study of fruit diversity is of utmost importance to select the elite genotypes for breeding and variety development program. Therefore, total of 620 fruit samples were collected and evaluated in the main production season of the year 2010 and 2011, from 62 bearing trees. Samples were collected from three agro-ecological domains, representing terai, mid hill and high hill areas of eastern Nepal. Elite landraces were selected on the basis of scoring fruit characters. High variation in vitamin C was observed between the terai (57.4 mg) and high hill (72.5 mg) samples. Amount of juice was 36.8% in mid hill and 44.1% in terai samples. Higher percent of juice and total soluble solids (TSS) observed in terai samples but tritable acidity (TA) and vitamin C was low as compare to high hills. There was significantly negative correlation found in fruit weight, fruit diameter, juice percent and seed number, whereas significantly positive correlation was in pulp and vitamin C, with altitude range. Total landraces were separated in five major cluster group. variation in the level of similarity was observed among the cluster groups. The variability distance of fruit characters was highest in cluster group II (–17.45%) and lowest in cluster group v (58.5%). On the basis of scoring number of fruit characters, total four elite genotypes i.e. LD-49 from mid hills, LD-23 and LT-17 from higher hills and LM-44 from terai were selected for conservation, breeding and variety development purpose.
