The best agreemen. with the experimen.al data for the Paschen.curv. modelin. is achiev.d by usin. the model with v.riable secon.ary electron.yield. The modelin. of curren.-v.ltage characteristics is performed for differen. in.er-electrode distan.es an. the results are compared with the experimen.al data. The fluid model with n.n.ocal ion.zation.shows an.excellen. agreemen. for all in.er-electrode distan.es, while the exten.ed fluid model with v.riable electron.tran.port coefficien.s agrees well with measuremen.s at short in.er-electrode distan.es when.ion.zation.by fast electron. can.be n.glected.

Bag of Stellar Tracks an. Isochron.s for α–en.ichmen. Coupled hydrological an. atmospheric modelin. is an.efficien. method for sn.wmelt run.ff forecast in.large basin.. We use short-ran.e precipitation.forecasts of mesoscale at- mospheric Weather Research an. Forecastin. （WRF） model combin.n. them with groun.-based an. satellite observ.tion. for modelin. sn.w accumulation.an. sn.wmelt processes in.the v.tkin.k reserv.ir basin.（184,319 km2）. The method is tested durin. three win.er season. （2012-2015）. The mODIS-based v.getation.map an. leaf area in.ex data are used to calculate the sn.wmelt in.en.ity an. sn.w ev.poration.in.the studied basin. The GIS-based sn.w accumulation.an. sn.wmelt modelin. prov.des a reliable an. highly detailed spatial distribution.for sn.w water equiv.len. （SWE） an. sn.w-cov.red areas （SCA）. The modellin. results are v.lidated by comparin. actual an. estimated SWE an. SCA data. The actual SCA results are deriv.d from mODIS satellite data. The algorithm for assessin. the SCA by.mODIS data （ATBD-mOD 10） has been.adapted to a forest zon.. In.gen.ral, the proposed method prov.des satisfactory results for maximum SWE calculation.. The calculation.accuracy is slightly degraded durin. sn.wmelt periods. The SCA data is simulated with a higher reliability than.the SWE data. The differen.es between.the simulated an. actual SWE may be explain.d by the ov.restimation.of the WRF-simulated total precipitation.an. the un.epresen.ativ.n.ss of the SWE measuremen.s （sn.w surv.y）.
