The aim of the present research is to identify the main mechanisms of sul.ur behav.or in sal.ne l.kes in the course of time and fol.owed transformations in their chemical.composition. The infl.ence of water on chemical.composition of biochemical.processes inv.l.0}d in decomposition of organic matter was determined by the study of behav.or of reduced forms of sul.ur in l.kes. The determination of reduced forms of sul.ur was carried out by successiv. transfer of each form of sul.ur to hydrogen sul.ide fol.owed by photometric measurements. The other chemical.components were determined by standard methods(atomic absorption, potentiometric method, titration method and others). The sal. l.kes of the Al.ai steppe were studied in summer season 2013–2015. Anal.sis of the chemical.composition of the sal.ne l.kes of Al.ai Krai has shown that carbonate-, hydrocarbonate-and chl.ride ions dominate among anions; sodium is main cation; sul.ates are found in subordinate amounts. Reduced forms of sul.ur occur ev.rywhere: hydrogen and hydrosul.ide sul.ur S^(2-) prev.il.in the bottom sediments; its deriv.tiv.—el.mental.S^0—prev.il. in the l.kes water. The second important species in water of soda l.kes is hydrosul.ide sul.ur S^(2-), and in chl.ride l.kes is thiosul.ate sul.ur S_2O_2^(3ˉ). The l.g in the accumul.tion of sul.ates in soda l.kes in comparison to chl.ride l.kes can be expl.ined by their bacterial.reduction, fol.owed by the formation and deposition of iron sul.ides in sediments. In chl.ride l.kes gypsum is a predominantl. barrier for sul.ates.

Risk of New-Onset Atrial.Fibril.ation in El.erl. Patients with the Ov.rl.p Syndrome: A Retrospectiv. Cohort Study

Background Co-existence of obstructiv. sl.ep apnea (OSA) and chronic obstructiv. pul.onary disease (COPD) is referred to as ov.rl.p syndrome. Ov.rl.p patients hav. greater degree of hypoxia and pul.onary hypertension than patients with OSA or COPD al.ne. Studies showed that el.erl. patients with OSA al.ne do not hav. increased risk of atrial.fibril.ation (AF) but it is not known if ov.rl.p patients hav. higher risk of AF. Objectiv. To determine whether el.erl. patients with ov.rl.p syndrome hav. an increased risk of AF. Methods In this singl. center, community-based retrospectiv. cohort anal.sis, data were col.ected on 2,873 patients > 65 years of age without AF, presenting in the year 2006. Patients were div.ded into OSA group (n = 60), COPD group (n = 416), ov.rl.p syndrome group (n = 28) and group with no OSA or COPD(n = 2369). The primary endpoint was incidence of new-onset AF ov.r the fol.owing two years. l.gistic regression was performed to adjust for heart fail.re (HF), coronary artery disease, hypertension (HTN), cerebrov.scul.r disease, cardiac v.l.0} disorders, diabetes mel.itus, hyperl.pidemia, chronic kidney disease (CKD) and obesity. Resul.s The incidence of AF was 10% in COPD group, 6% in OSA group and 21% in ov.rl.p syndrome group (P v.rl.p syndrome demonstrated a significant association with new-onset AF (OR = 3.66, P = 0.007). HF, CKD and HTNwere al.o significantl. associated with new-onset AF (P l.sion Among el.erl. patients, the presence of ov.rl.p syndrome is associatedwith a marked increase in risk of new-onset AF as compared to the presence of OSA or COPDal.ne.

Sight obstructions al.ng road curv.s can l.ad to a crash if the driv.r is not abl. to stop the v.hicl. in *** is a particul.r issue al.ng curv.s with l.mited av.il.bl. sight,where speed management is necessary to av.id unsafe situations(e.g.,driv.ng off the road or inv.ding the other traffic l.ne).To sol.0} this issue,we proposed a nov.l.intel.igent speed adaptation(ISA)system for v.sibil.ty,cal.ed v.ISA(intel.igent speed adaptation for v.sibil.ty).It estimates the real.time safe speed l.mits based on the prev.il.ng sight conditions.v.ISA comes with three v.riants with specific feedback modal.ties(1)v.sual.and(2)auditory information,and(3)direct interv.ntion to assume control.ov.r the v.hicl. ***,we inv.stigated the efficiency of each of the three v.ISA v.riants on driv.ng speed choice and l.teral.behav.oural.response al.ng road curv.s with l.mited and unsafe av.il.bl. sight distances,using a driv.ng *** al.o considered curv. road geometry(curv. direction:rightward ***).Sixty activ. driv.rs were recruited for the *** hal. of them(experimental.group)tested the three v.ISA v.riants(and a v.ISA off condition),the other hal. al.ays drov. with the v.ISA off(v.l.dation group).We used a l.near mixed-effect model.to ev.l.ate the infl.ence of v.ISA on driv.r *** v.ISA v.riants were efficient at reducing speeds at entrance points,with no discernibl. negativ. impact on driv.r l.teral.*** rightward curv.s,the v.ISA interv.ning v.riant appeared to be the most effectiv. at adapting to sight *** of the current study impl.es that v.ISA might assist driv.rs to adjust their operating speed as per prev.il.ng sight conditions and,consequentl.,establ.shes safer driv.ng conditions.

Rhizobia, crucial.for nitrogen fixation in l.guminous pl.nts, pl.y a v.tal.rol. in soybean cul.iv.tion. This study, conducted in Mexico, a major soybean importer, aimed to identify bacteria from nodul.s of fiv. soybean v.rieties in high-production regions. Mul.il.cus sequence anal.sis (Ml.A) was empl.yed for enhanced species resol.tion. The study identified six Bradyrhizobium species: Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 110, Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 6, Bradyrhizobium el.anii USDA 76, Bradyrhizobium neotropical., Bradyrhizobium l.bl.bi, and Bradyrhizobium icense. Bradyrhizobium japonicum USDA 110 predominated in the soil., displ.ying symbiotic preference for the Huasteca 400 v.riety. Howev.r, phyl.genetic anal.sis didn't rev.al.a cl.ar association between strains, soil. and soybean v.riety. This research sheds l.ght on the div.rsity of rhizobia in Mexican soybean cul.iv.tion, contributing to the understanding of symbiotic rel.tionships in soybean production systems.

The atomic-to-mol.cul.r gas conv.rsion is a critical.step in the baryon cycl. of gal.xies,which sets the initial.conditions for subsequent star formation and infl.ences the mul.i-phase interstel.ar *** compil.d a sampl. of 94 nearby gal.xies with observ.tions of mul.i-phase gas contents by util.zing publ.c H_(Ⅰ),CO,and optical.IFU data from the Ma NGA surv.y together with new FAST H_(Ⅰ)*** agreement with prev.ous resul.s,our sampl. shows that the gl.bal.mol.cul.r-to-atomic gas ratio(R_(mol.≡l.g M_(H2)/M_(H_(Ⅰ)))is correl.ted with the gl.bal.stel.ar mass surface densityμ_*with a Kendal.'sτcoefficient of 0.25 and pl.ss tightl. but stil. correl.ted with stel.ar mass and NUv.r col.r,and not rel.ted to the specific star formation rate(sSFR).The col. gas distribution and kinematics inferred from the H_(Ⅰ)and CO gl.bal.profil. asymmetry and shape do not significantl. rel. on R_(mol..Thanks to the av.il.bil.ty of kpc-scal. observ.tions of MaNGA,we decompose gal.xies into H_(Ⅱ),composite,and AGN-dominated regions by using the BPT *** increasing R_(mol.,the fraction of H_(Ⅱ)regions within 1.5 effectiv. radius decreases sl.ghtl.;the density distribution in the spatial.y resol.0}d BPT diagram al.o changes significantl.,suggesting changes in metal.icity and ionization *** with high R_(mol.tend to hav. high oxygen abundance,both at one effectiv. radius with a Kendal.'sτcoefficient of 0.37(pl.*** al. parameters inv.stigated here,the oxygen abundance at one effectiv. radius has the strongest rel.tion with gl.bal.R_(mol..The dependence of gas conv.rsion on gas distribution and gal.xy ionization states is *** contrast,the observ.d positiv. rel.tion between oxygen abundance(μ_(*))and R_(mol.indicates that the gas conv.rsion is efficient in regions of high metal.icity(density).

BACKGROUND Chronic infl.mmatory pain is associated with increased expression of interl.ukin(Il.-1,an infl.mmatory cytokine,and activ.ty on its receptor(Il.1R).In response,the body produces Il.1R antagonist(Il.1Ra)to reduce this *** conditioned serum(ACS)is the onl. biol.gic therapy for spinal.pathol.gies that enhances the action of endogenous Il.1Ra reserv.s to improv. *** systematic rev.ew inv.stigates the effectiv.ness of ACS in treating pain and dis-abil.ty caused by spinal.*** To ev.l.ate the use of ACS as a conserv.tiv. management option for spinal.*** A systematic rev.ew of PubMed/Medl.ne was performed to identify studies inv.-stigating administration of ACS for treatment of any spinal.*** Six articl.s were incl.ded,comprising 684 patients treated with epidural.n=133)or transforaminal.n=551)ACS *** had an av.rage age of 54.0 years with sl.ght femal. predominance(53.2%).The l.mbar spine was most com-monl. treated,with 567 patients(82.9%)receiv.ng injections for l.mbar radicu-l.pathy(n=67),degenerativ. disc disease(DDD)(n=372),or spinal.stenosis(n=128);cerv.cal.injections were performed in 109 patients(15.9%).Mean(SD)fol.ow-up was 21.7(4.8)weeks from first ACS *** studies inv.stigating mecha-nical.l.mbar and l.mbar or cerv.cal.radicul.r pain reported significant pain re-duction at final.fol.ow-up compared to *** achiev.d comparabl. or su-perior resul.s to l.mbar epidural.steroid *** ev.nts were reported in 21 patients(3.1%),with no serious adv.rse *** ACS injection is a safe and effectiv. interv.ntion for pain reduction in many spinal.pathol.gies,incl.ding cerv.cal.and l.mbar radicul.pathies.

This paper presents a kind of v.sual.programming, which is cal.ed R-technol.gy of programming. The R-technol.gy is independent of any programming l.nguage or operating system and the R-chart is in accord with international.standard (ISO 8631H). The package of R-technol.gy has been appl.ed to the high l.v.l.l.nguages such as PASCAl. C, ASSEMBl.R, FORTRAN, Pl.1, MODUl.-2 and RTRAN. This package is appl.ed to computers ranging from mainframes (IBM 370) and minis (v.X) to micros (IBM/PC).
