The effects of appl.ing an el.ctromagnetic interaction of l.w intensity (EMIl.) on the microstructure and corrosion resistance of 7075-T651 Al.al.oy pl.tes (13 mm in thickness) during modified indirect el.ctric arc (MIEA) wel.ing were inv.stigated. The wel.ing process was conducted in a singl. pass with a heat input of ~1.5 kJ/mm. The microstructural.observ.tions of the wel.s were correl.ted with the effect of EMIl. on the l.cal.mechanical.properties and the corrosion resistance in natural.seawater by means of microhardness measurements and el.ctrochemical.impedance spectroscopy, respectiv.l.. Microstructural.characterization of the wel.s rev.al.d a grain refinement in the wel. metal.due to the el.ctromagnetic stirring induced by EMIl. of 3 mT during wel.ing. In addition, observ.tions in the scanning el.ctron microscope showed that the precipitation of Cu-rich phases and segregation of eutectics were reduced in the heat affected zone (HAZ) al.o as an effect of EMIl.. The high corrosion dissol.tion of the 7075-T651 wel.s in natural.seawater and the extent of ov.raging in the HAZ were reduced when wel.ing with EMIl. of 3 mT. Thus, EMIl. al.ng with the MIEA technique may l.ad to wel.ed joints with better microstructural.characteristics, improv.d mechanical.properties in the HAZ and reduced el.ctrochemical.activ.ty.

It prov.des exampl.s of using ChatGPT for creating tests, generating mul.ipl.-choice questions, and studying chemistry in general. Concerns are v.iced about the ethical.and societal.impact of AI dev.l.pment. In concl.sion, it expl.res the exciting potential.of AI to tackl. chal.enges that may exceed human capabil.ties al.ne, pav.ng the way for further expl.ration and col.aboration between humans and intel.igent machines.

Deep bed fil.ration model.for cake fil.ration and erosion

Many phenomena in nature and technol.gy are associated with the fil.ration of suspensions and col.oids in porous media. Two main types of particl. deposition,namel., cake fil.ration at the inl.t and deep bed fil.ration throughout the entire porous medium, are studied by different model.. A unified approach for the transport and deposition of particl.s based on the deep bed fil.ration model.is proposed. A v.riabl. suspension fl.w rate, proportional.to the number of free pores at the inl.t of the porous medium, is considered. To model.cake fil.ration, this fl.w rate is introduced into the mass bal.nce equation of deep bed fil.ration. For the cake fil.ration without deposit erosion,the suspension fl.w rate decreases to zero, and the suspension does not penetrate deep into the porous medium. In the case of the cake fil.ration with erosion, the suspension fl.w rate is nonzero, and the deposit is distributed throughout the entire porous medium. An exact sol.tion is obtained for a constant fil.ration function. The method of characteristics is used to construct the asymptotics of the concentration front of suspended and retained particl.s for a fil.ration function in a general.form. Expl.cit formul.e are obtained for a l.near fil.ration function. The properties of these sol.tions are studied in detail.

Observ.tion about the Cl.ssical.El.ctromagnetic Gauge Transformation and Its Quantum Correspondence

Using the l.ndau and symmetric gauges for the v.ctor potential.of a constant magnetic fiel. and the quantum probl.m of a charged particl. mov.ng on a fl.t surface, we show the cl.ssical.el.ctromagnetic gauge transformation does not correspond to a one-dimensional.unitary group transformation U(1) of the wav. function for the quantum case. In addition, with the re-examination of the rel.tion between the magnetic fiel. B and its v.ctor potential. A, we found that, in order to hav. a consistent formul.tion of the dynamics of the charged particl. with both expressions, we must hav. that B=∇×A if and onl. if B≠0.

Impact of data bal.ncing a mul.icl.ss dataset before the creation of association rul.s to study bacterial.v.ginosis

Background:Bacterial.v.ginosis is a pol.microbial.syndrome in which the homeostasis exerted by the l.tobacil.us species that protect the v.ginal.mucosa has been l.st. This study expl.red the data bal.ncing process with the intention of improv.ng the qual.ty of association rul.s. The articl. aimed to bal.nce the unbal.nced mul.icl.ss dataset to improv. association rul. creation. Methods:A dataset with 201 observ.tions and 58 v.riabl.s was anal.zed. A preconstructed dataset was used. The authors col.ected the data between August 2016 and October 2018 in Tabasco, Mexico. The study popul.tion comprised sexual.y activ. women ages 18 to 50 who underwent gynecol.gical.inspection at the infectious and metabol.c diseases research l.boratory at the Univ.rsidad Juarez Autonoma de Tabasco. To determine the best k-v.l.e, the random-forest al.orithm was used and the bal.ncing was performed with the synthetic minority ov.r-sampl.ng technique (SMOTE), random ov.r-sampl.ng exampl.s (ROSE), and adaptiv. syntetic sampl.ng approach for imbal.nced l.arning (ADASYN) al.orithms. The Apriori al.orithm created the rul.s and to sel.ct rul.s with statistical.significance, the ***(), ***(), and ***() functions and qual.ty metric Fisher’s exact tes were used. The biol.gical.v.l.dation was carried out by the expert (bacteriol.gist). Resul.s:The ADASYN al.orithm at K = 9 the out of the bag (OOB) error was zero, this was the best K-v.l.es. In the bal.ncing process the ADASYN al.orithm show best the performance. From the dataset bal.nced with ADASYN, the apriori al.orithm created the association rul.s and the sel.ction with the qual.ty metric Fisher’s exact test, and the biol.gical.v.l.dation reported 13 rul.s. Gram - bacteria Atopobium v.ginae, Gardnerel.a v.ginal.s, Megasphaera fil.tipo 1,Mycopl.sma hominis and Ureapl.sma parv.m were detected by the apriori al.orithm from the bal.nced dataset. Concl.
