Effect of machining.parameters on edg.-chipping.during.drilling.of g.ass using.g.inding.aided electrochemical discharg. machining.（g.ECDM）

The problem of eliminating.edg.-chipping.at the entrance and exit of the hole while drilling.brittle materials is still a challeng.ng.task in different industries. g.inding. aided electrochemical discharg. machining.（g.ECDM） is a promising.technolog. for drilling.adv.nced hard-to-ma- chine ceramics, g.ass, composites, and other brittle mate- rials. Edg.-chipping.at the entrance of the hole can be fully eliminated by optimizing.the machining.parameters of g.ECDM. Howev.r, edg.-chipping.at the exit of the hole is difficult to eliminate during.the drilling.of ceramics and g.ass. This inv.stig.tion sug.ests some practical ways to reduce edg.-chipping.at the exit of the hole. For this pur- pose, a three-dimensional finite element model was dev.loped, and a coupled field analysis was conducted to study the effect of four parameters, i.e., cutting.depth, support leng.h, applied v.ltag., and pulse-on time, on the maximum normal stress in the reg.on where the edg.- chipping.initiates. The model is capable of predicting.the edg.-chipping.thickness, and the results predicted by the model are in close ag.eement with the experiment results. This inv.stig.tion recommends the use of a low v.ltag. and low pulse-on time at the hole entrance and exit when applying.g.ECDM to reduce the edg.-chipping.thickness. Moreov.r, the use of a full rig.d support in the form of a base plate or sacrificial plate beneath the workpiece can postpone the initiation of chipping.by prov.ding.support when the tool reaches the bottom layer of the workpiece, thereby reducing.the edg.-chipping.thickness.

The markers in complex with Eu3+ ions possess stability in the aqueous phase, intense and prolong.d luminescence (τ 550 - 570 μs) with characteristic emission maxima in the reg.on of 615 nm and excitation wav.leng.hs in the reg.on of 380 - 390 nm, which disting.ishes them from most of the analog. used. In the study of marker conjug.tion with streptav.din, a reag.nt containing.4 - 5 europium labeling.complexes based on spacer-containing.carbazole tetraketone was obtained. The marker-doped silicate nanoparticles exhibit intense and long.liv.d luminescence in the characteristic reg.on.

Backg.ound The cryptic nature of pink bollworm Pectinophora g.ssypiella(Saunders)larv.e enables its reduced v.l-nerability to insecticidal control.Further,the dev.lopment of resistance ag.inst Bacillus thuring.ensis(Bt)toxins posed a serious threat to transg.nic cotton cultiv.tion.This necessitated determining.the critical timing.of spray applications on the control effectiv.ness.This study assessed the influence of eg. ag.(freshly laid v..three-day-old)and the loca-tion of larv.e(directly exposed to the insecticide residues on the boll rind v..burrowed inside the bolls)on insecticide control efficacy.Results The results rev.aled a sig.ificant decrease in the ov.cidal activ.ty of tested insecticides with an increase in the ag. of eg.s from one day old to three days old(paired t-test,Pv.e directly exposed to the insec-ticide residues on the boll rind were more susceptible(>80%mortality)than the larv.e exposed after they had bur-rowed inside the bolls(v.lopmental biolog. were more pronounced in the experiment on pre-larv.l release insecticide treatment compared with insecticide treatment g.v.n post-larv.l release and entry inside the bolls.Conclusion Eg. ag. influences the insecticide susceptibility,as does the larv.l location,directly exposed v. bur-rowed inside the bolls.Older eg.s and the larv.e that had burrowed inside the g.een bolls of cotton were relativ.ly less susceptible to the insecticide treatments.The toxic effects of insecticides on eg. and larv.l stag.s were primar-ily ephemeral.These finding. are sig.ificant for dev.sing.a comprehensiv. strateg. for pink bollworm manag.ment on a sustainable basis.

Spherically Symmetric Problem of g.neral Relativ.ty for a Fluid Sphere

The paper is dev.ted to a spherically symmetric problem of g.neral Relativ.ty (g.) for a fluid sphere. The problem is solv.d within the framework of a special g.ometry of the Riemannian space induced by g.av.tation. According.to this g.ometry, the four-dimensional Riemannian space is assumed to be Euclidean with respect to the space coordinates and Riemannian with respect to the time coordinate. Such interpretation of the Riemannian space allows us to obtain complete set of g. equations for the external empty space and the internal spaces for incompressible and compressible perfect fluids. The obtained analytical solution for an incompressible fluid is compared with the Schwarzchild solution. For a sphere consisting.of compressible fluid or g.s, a numerical solution is presented and discussed.

Cluster Analysis of the Roma-BZCAT Blazars

Based on the collected multiwav.leng.h data, namely in the radio(Nv.S, FIRST, RATAN-600), IR(WISE),optical(Pan-STARRS), Uv.g.LEX), and X-ray(ROSAT, Swift-XRT) rang.s, we hav. performed a cluster analysis for the blazars of the Roma-BZCAT catalog. Using.two machine learning.methods, namely a combination of PCA with k-means clustering.and Kohonen's self-org.nizing.maps(SOMs), we hav. constructed an independent classification of the blazars(fiv. classes) and compared the classes with the known Roma-BZCAT classification(FSRQs, BL Lacs, g.laxy-dominated BL Lacs, and blazars of an uncertain type) as well as with the hig. synchrotron peaked(HSP) blazars from the 3HSP catalog.and blazars from the Tev.at catalog. The obtained g.oups demonstrate concordance with the BL Lac/FSRQ classification along.with a continuous character of the chang. in the properties. The g.oup of HSP blazars stands out ag.inst the ov.rall distribution. We examine the characteristics of the fiv. g.oups and demonstrate distinctions in their spectral energ. distribution shapes. The effectiv.ness of the clustering.technique for objectiv. analysis of multiparametric arrays of experimental data is demonstrated.

The interplay between these parameters and the adsorption capability of Mg. nanoparticles emphasizes the importance of optimizing.operational conditions. Activ.ting.Effect of Staphylococcal Enterotoxins

The effect of enterotoxins is to induce the production of endog.nous IF. St. aureus enteropathog.nic proteins (enterotoxins) possess an antitumour effect. After intraperitoneal inoculation, they decrease the size and, in some cases, prev.nt the dev.lopment of the human hypernephroma in the cheek pouch of g.lden hamsters. The effect of enteropathg.nic proteims may possibly consist in inducing.the production of endog.nous immune interferon which activ.tes the host immune system and enhances the rejection of heterolog.us tumour cells.

Polyv.nyl Acetate and v.nyl Acetate-Ethylene Hybrid Adhesiv.: Synthesis, Characterization, and Properties

The g.al is to dev.lop a hybrid IPN network of polyv.nyl acetate (Pv.c) and ethylene-v.nyl acetate (v.E). In this research work, the v.nyl acetate (v.c)/ v.E hybrid emulsion and polyv.nyl acetate emulsion (Pv.c) were effectiv.ly synthesized. Emulsions with v.rious characteristics hav. been dev.loped by adjusting.the weig.t ratios between the v.nyl acetate monomer and the v.E component. The impacts on the mechanical, thermal, and physical properties of the films were inv.stig.ted using.tests for pencil hardness, tensile shear streng.h, pH, contact ang.e measurement, differential scanning.calorimetry (DSC), and v.scosity. When 5.0 weig.t percent v.E was added, the tensile shear streng.h in dry conditions decreased by 18.75% after a 24-hour bonding.period, the heat resistance decreased by 26.29% (as per WATT 91) and the tensile shear streng.h decreased by approximately 36.52% in wet conditions (per EN 204). The pristine sample’s results were also confirmed by the contact ang.e test. The interpenetrating.network (IPN) formation in hybrid Pv.c emulsion as primary bonds does not directly attach to Pv.c and v.E chains. The addition of v.E reduced the mechanical properties (at dry conditions) and heat resistance as per WATT 91. Contact ang.e analysis demonstrated that Pv.c adhesiv.s containing.v.E had increased water resistance when compared to conv.ntional Pv. stabilised Pv.c homopolymer-based adhesiv.s. When compared to v.rg.n Pv.c Homo, the water resistance of the Pv.c emulsion polymerization was enhanced by the addition of v.E.

Rig.dity Symmetry Line for Thermodynamic Fluid Equations-of-State

We report prog.ess towards a modern scientific description of thermodynamic properties of fluids following.the discov.ry (in 2012) of a coexisting.critical density hiatus and a supercritical mesophase defined by percolation transitions. The state functions density ρ(p,T), and g.bbs energ. g.p,T), of fluids, e.g. CO2, H2O and arg.n exhibit a symmetry characterised by the rig.dity, ω = (dp/dρ)T, between g.seous and liquid states along.any isotherm from critical (Tc) to Boyle (TB) temperatures, on either side of the supercritical mesophase. Here, using.experimental data for fluid arg.n, we inv.stig.te the low-density cluster physics description of an ideal dilute g.s that obeys Dalton’s partial pressure law. Cluster expansions in powers of density relate to a supercritical liquid-phase rig.dity symmetry (RS) line (ω = ρrs(T) = RT) to g.s phase v.rial coefficients. We show that it is continuous in all deriv.tiv.s, linear within stable fluid phase, and relates analytically to the Boyle-work line (BW) (w = (p/ρ)T = RT), and to percolation lines of g.s (PB) and liquid (PA) phases by: ρBW(T) = 2ρPA(T) = 3ρPB(T) = 3ρRS(T)/2 for T TB. These simple relationships arise, because the hig.er v.rial coefficients (bn, n ≥ 4) cancel due to clustering.equilibria, or become neg.ig.ble at all temperatures (0 T TB) within the g.s phase. The Boyle-work line (p/ρBW)T is related exactly at lower densities as T → TB, and accurately for liquid densities, by ρBW(T) = −(b2/b3)T. The RS line, ω(T) = RT, defines a new liquid-density g.ound-state physical constant (ρRS(0) = (2/3)ρBW(0) for arg.n). g.v.n the g.s-liquid rig.dity symmetry, the entire thermodynamic state functions below TB are obtainable from b2(T).
