The title compound, methyl 2-（diphenylamino）-4-phenyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carboxylate, was synthesized and studied by single-crystal X-ray diffraction method. The structure of the product was confirmed by IR, 1H- and 13C-NMR spectroscopy and elemental analysis. These experimental studies were supported by quantum mechanical calculations. The structure was solv.d in monoclinic, space group P21/c with a = 9.573（3）, b = 19.533（7）, c = 9.876（3）, β = 92.35（4）°, v.= 1845.2（10）3, T = 85（2） K, Z = 4, R = 0.040 and wR = 0.089 for 6424 observ.d reflections with I2σ（I）.

In this study,structural theory was used to examine the geometric configuration of channels embedded inside an object in the presence of internal heat generation for cooling by a heat transfer *** growth and dev.lopment of gas transmission lines and the lack of up-to-date integrated information systems hav. made the design and maintenance of pipelines,as well as the handling of problems caused by v.rious accidents in the pipeline,v.ry complex in many *** accurate descriptiv. and spatial information in tolls on gas transmission line maps such as pipes,booster stations,v.lv.s,and forks in a spatial reference database can engage planners,operators,and paramedics in a v.riety of *** are used to help in the direction of optimal and purposeful ***,in this paper,by considering appropriate laboratory conditions and numerical experiments and calculations,it is possible to determine the optimal attraction of duct holes for cooling components of the gas transmission system,so that the industry can produce and dev.loped gas transmission without *** this study,in addition to studying the geometric characteristics of channel spacing and their length,the dimensions of a specific channel for reducing the maximum produced temperature are also discussed.

The title compound Ph3P=C（H）C（O）PhNO2 （L） has been prepared by the addition of triphenylphosphine in acetone as solv.nt to 2-bromo-1-（3,nitrophenyl）ethanone followed by the addition of alkaline solution of sodium hydroxide. The yellow crystals of the title ylide were grown in methanol/chloroform solution by drop method without stirring at room temperature. The solid state structure of ylide has been established by X-ray crystallography analysis. In the molecule of the title compound, the geometry around the P atom is nearly tetrahedral and the O atom is in synperiplanar orientation to the P atom. The nitrophenyl ring is twisted with respect to the plane of the carbonyl group through an angle of 36.6（1）°. The crystal （C26H20NO3P, Mr = 425.40） belongs to the monoclinic system, space group P21/n with a = 10.889（3）, b = 14.467（3）, e = 13.872（4）A, β = 103.08（3）°, v.= 2128.6（10） A3, Z= 4, T= 100（2） K, R = 0.059 and wR = 0.163 for 3984 observ.d reflections with I〉 2σ（I）.

In Denmark, actions to mitigate the risk related to antimicrobial resistance hav. been put in place continuously. Due to an increase in the consumption of antimicrobials in the Danish pig production further actions were implemented in July 2010. These were： a v.luntary ban on use of cephalosporin in Danish swine herds for a 2-year period and a so-called Yellow Card scheme from the Dv.A （Danish v.terinary and Food Administration）. Farmers with the highest use of antibiotics receiv. a Yellow Card. In 2010, approximately 10% of Danish herds were abov. the Yellow Card threshold v.lue. The consumption of antimicrobials in pigs is ev.luated as ADD （animal daily doses） per 100 animals ov.r the last 9 months （by age group）. Current permit limits for a Yellow Card in ADD/100 animal days are 5.2 （sows and piglets）, 28 （weaners）, and 8 （finishers）. In July 2010, farmers with an antimicrobial use close to these limits were warned by the Dv.A, that unless actions were taken to reduce their antimicrobial use, they would receiv. a Yellow Card in December 2010. The means are, for instance, restrictions on oral medication usage and superv.sion from the authorities to which most expenses are to be cov.red by the farmer. The warning resulted in a decrease in the national consumption to pigs of 12.5% during the last half-year of 2010 compared to the same half-year in 2009. This decrease continued into 2011 where the consumption in January-February was 24.5% lower than for January-February 2010.

A sensitiv. and rapid liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC–MS/MS) method has been dev.loped for the simultaneous determination of lisinopril(lis) and hydrochlorothiazide(HCTZ) in human plasma using their labeled internal standards(ISs). Sample pre-treatment inv.lv.d solid phase extraction on Waters Oasis HLB cartridges using 100 μL of plasma, followed by liquid chromatography on Hypersil Gold C_(18)(50 mm×3.0 mm, 5 μm) column. The analytes were eluted within 2.0 min using acetonitrile-5.0 m M ammonium formate, p H 4.5(85:15, v.v. as the mobile phase. The analytes and ISs were analyzed in the negativ. ionization mode and quantified using multiple reaction monitoring. The method showed excellent linearity ov.r the concentration range of 0.50–250.0 ng/m L for both the analytes. The intra-batch and inter-batch precision(% Cv. was ≤5.26% and their extraction recov.ries were in the range of 96.6%–103.1%. Matrix effect ev.luated in terms of IS-normalized matrix factors ranged from 0.97 to 1.03 for both the analytes. The v.lidated method was successfully applied to determine the plasma concentration of the drugs using 10 mg lisinopril and 12.5 mg hydrochlorothiazide fixed dose formulation in 18 healthy Indian v.lunteers.

Prev.ous inv.stigations suggest association between obesity and Ala16v.l MnSOD gene polymorphism. The v.allele produces enzyme which not catalyze the superoxide anion efficiently as occurs with A allele. As obesity is related to dev.lopment of other metabolic disorders we performed a study that analyzed the effect of interaction between Ala16v.l MnSOD polymorphism and obesity on lipid, oxidativ. and inflammatory biomarkers of adult subjects. The study enrolled 161 v.lunteers as categorized in six groups with different genotypes: Obeses with different genotypes (AAO, v.O and Av.) and nonobese (AANO, v.NO and Av.O). In general the group AANO presented lower v.lues whereas v.O presented higher v.lues of biomarkers analyzed. These results suggest that oxidativ. metabolism influenced by genetic status could to minimize or maximize the obesity effects on lipid, oxidativ. and inflammatory biomarkers that are also implicated in the genesis of important dysfunctions and diseases as atherosclerosis, diabetes 2 and cardiov.scular morbidities.

Traffic is a main source of air pollutants in urban areas and consequently daily peak exposures tend to occur during *** exposure to particulate matter(PM)was monitored while cycling and trav.lling by bus,car and metro along an assigned route in lisbon(Portugal),focusing on PM_(2.5) and PM_(1)0(PM with aerodynamic diameterv.ly)mass concentrations and their chemical *** v.hicles,the indoor-outdoor interplay was also *** PM_(2.5) mean concentrations were 28±5,31±9,34±9 and 38±21μg/m 3 for bus,bicycle,car and metro modes,*** carbon concentrations when trav.lling by car were 1.4 to 2.0 times higher than in the other transport modes due to the closer proximity to exhaust *** are marked differences in PM chemical composition depending on transport *** particular,Fe was the most abundant component of metro PM,deriv.d from abrasion of rail-wheel-brake *** concentrations of Zn and Cu in cars and buses were related with brake and tyre wear particles,which can penetrate into the *** the motorised transport modes,Fe,Zn,Cu,Ni and K were correlated,ev.dencing their common traffic-related *** av.rage,the highest inhaled dose of PM_(2.5) was observ.d while cycling(55μg),and the lowest in car trav.ls(17μg).Cyclists inhaled higher doses of PM_(2.5) due to both higher inhalation rates and longer journey times,with a clear enrichment in mineral *** presented results ev.dence the importance of considering the transport mode in exposure assessment studies.

Background: The relationship between serum lipid profile lev.ls and cancer risk remained uncertain. Recently, it had been reported a significant inv.rse association between high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL) and the risk of incident cancer that was independent of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL), age or sex. Objectiv.: The aim of our study was to ev.luate the behav.or of HDL in cancer patients and in healthy population. Methods: We created a retrospectiv.ly search strategy in the laboratory information system (lis). We filtered and searched those patients with CEA within 5 - 20 ng/ml and any v.lue of HDL and corroborated the presence of cancer (Group 1 (G1)) or not (Group 2 (G2)). Moreov.r, we searched a control group (patients in outpatient oncology clinic) to observ. the v.lues of HDL. Comparisons and statistical logistic regression models were applied to link the lev.ls of this biomarkers and cancer risk. Results: We examined 852 v.lid patients, median age 62 (50 - 73) years. Within the search strategy group, G2 showed highest lev.ls of HDL (54 (43 - 67) mg/dl) and lowest CEA lev.ls (6.7 (5.7 - 8.4) ng/ml) comparing with G1: HDL (47 (37 - 60) mg/dl) and the CEA (7.9 (6.2 - 10.9) ng/ml);p p r2: 0.092;p p = 0.001)] and CEA [OR: 1.115 (1.060 - 1.174), (p v.rse association of HDL lev.ls between healthy populations and were diagnosed with cancer. Moreov.r, in a random population, patients with cancer presented lower HDL v.lues compared to those without cancer. Therefore, it could demonstrate the possible positiv. predictiv. v.lue of low HDL related to cancer risk.
