In this research work,sol-gel technique was employed to prepare the strontium based spinel ferrite nanoparticles（SrFe2O4） with different ratios of terbium（Tb）.Different characterization techniques were used to investigate the structural,morphological,dielectric and magnetic properties of the prepared samples.X-ray diffraction（XRD） result suggests that face-centered cube spinel nanocrystalline structure is *** size of the SrFe2O4decreases with rising of Tb *** morphology,shape and size of the SrFe2O4were examined by scanning electron microscopy（SEM） analysis and results reveal inhomogeneous distributions of the nanostructures with high *** electrical resistivity of the SrFe2O4increases with rising of Tb ratio,which is confirmed from the cyclic *** is observed that dielectric constant of all the samples decreases with the increasing frequency *** is determined that the dielectric constants of the spinel ferrites are frequency dependent and decrease with increasing the frequency of applied electric *** magnetic behavior of SrFe2O4with different ratios of Tb was studied and it is found that the saturation magnetization values of samples decrease with increase in the substitution of Tb3+at octahedral sites for Fe3+.This decrease in the values of Msis also attributed to spin at surface of nanoparticles.

The blast wave model with Tsallis statistics is used to analyze the transverse momentum spectra of protons(p),deuterons(d),and tritons(t)in√S_(NN)=200 GeV gold-gold(Au-Au)collisions at the RHIC in various centrality *** particular transverse momentum ranges,the model results closely match experimental data from the PHENIX(p)and STAR(d and t)*** data are compared with those of protons obtained in Cu+Cu collisions and deuterons and tritons in Ru+Ru collisions at a center of mass energy of 200 GeV from the STAR *** spectra are used to derive the kinetic freeze-out temperatures,transverse flow velocities,and freeze-out *** to the findings,the kinetic freeze-out temperature increases from the central to peripheral *** this transition,the transverse flow velocity and freeze-out volume both *** the collisions of both collaborations,this study reveals mass-dependent kinetic freeze-out temperature and differential volume ***,the non-extensivity parameter q decreases with increasing centrality of the studied heavy-ion collisions,and heavier mass particles have smaller values of q,which implies higher degrees of thermalization and equilibrium in more central collisions and for heavier particles.

The seamless integration of intelligent Internet of Things devices with conventional wireless sensor networks has revolutionized data communication for different applications,such as remote health monitoring,industrial monitoring,transportation,and smart *** and reliable data routing is one of the major challenges in the Internet of Things network due to the heterogeneity of *** paper presents a traffic-aware,cluster-based,and energy-efficient routing protocol that employs traffic-aware and cluster-based techniques to improve the data delivery in such *** proposed protocol divides the network into clusters where optimal cluster heads are selected among super and normal nodes based on their residual *** protocol considers multi-criteria attributes,i.e.,energy,traffic load,and distance parameters to select the next hop for data delivery towards the base *** performance of the proposed protocol is evaluated through the network simulator *** different traffic rates,number of nodes,and different packet sizes,the proposed protocol outperformed LoRaWAN in terms of end-to-end packet delivery ratio,energy consumption,end-to-end delay,and network *** 100 nodes,the proposed protocol achieved a 13%improvement in packet delivery ratio,10 ms improvement in delay,and 10 mJ improvement in average energy consumption over LoRaWAN.

The coupling of zero-valent iron(ZVI)with common oxidants has recently achieved very rapid and highly efficient removal of Heavy metals from ***,the uniform activation of ZVI throughout the column and the proportional removal of target contaminants are urgently required for the prevention of premature filter clogging and the extension of the effective column operational *** this study,we successfully achieved this objective by simply doping granular sand with ZVI at appropriate weight *** pure ZVI packed column was spiked with oxidants,the majority of As trapping occurred between the column inlet and the first sampling *** a packed column with a 1:20 mixture of ZVI and sand,the average As removal efficiency was 36(1st),13.1(2nd),18.5(3rd),19.2(4th)and 5.9%(5th outlet).The overall arsenic removal performance of the composite filling system of ZVI/sand was equally as efficient as that of the previous pure ZVI-packed ***,the leaching of Fe was significantly reduced with an increased sand ratio,resulting in clearer water with less *** results of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)demonstrated that more than 54%of the arsenic was reduced to As(III).X-ray diffraction(XRD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)confirmed the extensive corrosion of the ZVI surface,which resulted in various species of iron oxyhydroxides responsible for the highly efficient sequester of arsenic through reduction,adsorption,and coprecipitation.

The analysis of overcrowded areas is essential for flow monitoring,assembly control,and *** counting’s primary goal is to calculate the population in a given region,which requires real-time analysis of congested scenes for prompt reactionary *** crowd is always unexpected,and the benchmarked available datasets have a lot of variation,which limits the trained models’performance on unseen test *** this paper,we proposed an end-to-end deep neural network that takes an input image and generates a density map of a crowd *** proposed model consists of encoder and decoder networks comprising batch-free normalization layers known as evolving normalization(EvoNorm).This allows our network to be generalized for unseen data because EvoNorm is not using statistics from the training *** decoder network uses dilated 2D convolutional layers to provide large receptive fields and fewer parameters,which enables real-time processing and solves the density drift problem due to its large receptive *** benchmark datasets are used in this study to assess the proposed model,resulting in the conclusion that it outperforms conventional models.

Zero-valent iron(ZVI)technology has recently gained significant interest in the efficient sequestration of a wide variety of ***,surface passivation of ZVI because of its intrinsic passive layer would lead to the inferior reactivity of ZVI and its lower efficacy in contaminant ***,to activate the ZVI surface cheaply,continuously,and efficiently is an important challenge that ZVI technology must overcome before its wide-scale *** date,several physical and chemical approaches have been extensively applied to increase the reactivity of the ZVI surface toward the elimination of broad-spectrum ***,these techniques have several limitations such as low efficacy,narrow working pH,eco-toxicity,and high installation *** objective of this mini-review paper is to identify the critical role of oxygen in determining the reactivity of ZVI toward contaminant ***,the effect of three typical oxidants(H2O2,KMnO4,and NaClO)on broad-spectrum contaminants removal by ZV1 has been documented and *** reaction mechanism and sequestration efficacies of the ZVI/oxidant system were evaluated and *** technical basis of the ZVI/oxidant approach is based on the half-reaction of the cathodic reduction of the *** oxidants commonly used in the water treatment industry,i.e.,NaClO,O3,and H2O2,can be served as an ideal coupling electron *** the combination of these oxidants,the surface corrosion of ZVI can be continuously *** ZVI/oxidants technology has been compared with other conventional technologies and conclusions have been drawn.

Do bovids evolve hindquarter markings for anti-predation?

Conspicuous coloration in animals serves many functions such as ***-predation strategies include motion dazzle and flash *** dazzle markings can reduce the probability of being preyed on because the predators misjudge their *** flash behavior,prey demonstrate conspicuous cue while fleeing;the predators follow them;however,the prey hide their markings and the predators assume that the prey has *** investigate whether bovids use conspicuous hindquarter markings as an anti-predatory behavior,we undertook phylogenetically controlled analyses to explore under what physiological characteristics and environmental factors bovids might have this color *** results suggested that rump patches and tail markings were more prevalent in bovids living in larger-sized groups,which supports the hypothesis of intraspecific ***,we observed the occurrence of conspicuous white hindquarter markings in bovids having smaller body size and living in larger groups,suggesting a motion dazzle ***,the feature of facultative exposing color patterns(flash markings)was not associated with body size,which was inconsistent with predictions and implied that bovids may not adopt this as an anti-predator *** was concluded that species in bovids with conspicuous white hindquarter markings adopt motion dazzle as an anti-predation strategy while fleeing and escaping from being prey on.

Objective: To evaluate acute oral toxicity and anti-arthritic activity of the methanolic extract of Convolvulus arvensis L. ***: Safety was assessed by acute oral toxicity(OECD 425) study. Anti-arthritic activity was explored by in vitro(inhibition of protein denaturation) and in vivo(Complete Freund’s adjuvantinduced arthritis and carrageenan-induced inflammation) methods. Antioxidant potential was determined by assessing ferric reducing power, DPPH inhibition, and H2O2 scavenging assays. Furthermore, molecular docking was done to check interactions between the plant constituents and cyclooxygenases(COX-1 and COX-2). Quercetin, gallic acid, caffeic acid, syringic acid, sinapic acid, and vanillic acid were quantified by HPLC and eight compounds were identified by GC-MS analysis. Results: No mortality and abnormality in biochemical parameters were observed in the toxicity study. Histological analysis of vital organs also supported these biochemical results. The in vitro and in vivo studies showed that the methanolic extract of leaves of Convolvulus arvensis exhibited dose-dependent anti-arthritic and anti-oxidant potential. Molecular docking showed better interactions of plant compounds with cyclooxygenases as compared to standard ibuprofen. Conclusions: Convolvulus arvensis exhibits strong anti-arthritic activity, justifying the traditional use of the herbal drug.
