利用瞬变电磁(TEM)和地面电磁(GEM)方法,本文研究了埃及Hawara遗址区的地下水对遗址的影响.这个遗址包括Hawara金字塔、北区墓地、以及被称作"迷宫"的南区墓葬场所.现今Hawara遗址已经完全荒废,被耕作区和Bahr Wahba运河包围.地表水和地下水会破坏Hawara金字塔和"迷宫"遗址的地基,现在金字塔入口已被淹没至地面下约6 m深处.本文在耕作区、金字塔以及"迷宫"等三个地区进行了TEM勘察;在"迷宫"地区进行了GEM勘察.综合分析以上两种勘察数据,我们发现,农业灌溉是浸入到地下的水的主要来源;本地区地下水位随着观测点及海拔的不同,在地面以下2～7 m之间变化.

根据建筑行业发展结构的定义,项目的每个阶段都存在利益相关方。这些专家有不同的沟通方式,使用不同的技术,创造和处理大量的材料。信息已经形成,必须对信息进行错误解释和重构,以适应不同的个人和软件,这会导致项目每一步的冗余和知识损失。一些专家认为,采用建筑信息建模(BIM)是缩小差距、建立单一信息源而不是许多信息源的一种手段。该建筑项目是全国社会经济发展的最大部门。近年来,节约成本监控是建筑工程的重要组成部分,并成为世界主要建筑工程施工过程中必不可少的一件事。但是,就目前现状来看,无论是最好的还是最完善的项目内部开发定价管理软件都无法准确预测项目价格。在项目首期付款中,因素的不确定性导致了资产超支,主要是由于项目定价决策效率低下、缺乏技术进步、以及由于缺乏技术进步建筑公司定价的决策和预测结果不明确,严重影响了相关公司的利益。因此,本文对工程造价估算模型进行了研究,并建立了神经网络完全预测模型,以提高项目造价估算方法的准确性和可行性。该模型可应用于建筑项目中,其成本受到严格控制,为合资企业带来了巨大的利润,并促进了公司利润的增长。这是通过运用BIM技术和机器学习反向传播模型以及适当利用数字化的溢价来实现的。对于基于BIM应用的施工成本管理和调度方法,通过计算开发时间以及设计过程的成本,工程师在设计阶段创建三维模型并改进技术工作,这是结构工程的一项重要职责,有助于业主利益最大化,该模型集成了建筑的所有特征,并且可以在设计阶段对建筑进行更好的规划。例如,在其存在的概念阶段,建筑时间和费用对开发结果有着巨大的影响。计算施工活动时间和费用的标准方法是基于二维模型,该模型需要专业人员、协调员和开发过程中涉及的解释变量的时间和精力,当项目方案存在变化时,专业人员所耗费的时间和精力都不可估量。而建筑信息模型“BIM”是一个促进数据传输并确保建筑师和施工经理之间协作的系统,可以提供有效的成本估算和进度安排方法,减少相关专业人员的工作量。由于建筑行业对于工程项目的“可持续性”关注度越来越高,对于建筑项目全过程成本的控制也至关重要,通过减少大气污染、节省建筑时间、提高劳动力效率并支持经济发展等,完成“可持续性”建筑。本研究旨在建立一种综合方法,将BIM与工程概念实施时的建筑成本、进度和可持续性计算进行互操作,目标是尽可能缩短工程项目准备时间,提高传统建筑和模块化建筑在有关决策方面的有效性。该模型由五个独立部分组成:数据采集组件、价值管理模块、编程模块、可持续评估收发器和5D集成节点。在一个框架中创建插件,将BIM软件(即Autodesk Revit)和Microsoft Office Excel互连,以确保在电子表格程序中自动执行这些组件之间的传输,从而允许规划者和管理者开始生成可靠的建筑估算成本、建筑日历、预备性可持续评估,建设项目快速建模。与此同时,不同公司将准备和部署几种替代解决方案,向各部门合作交流。由本文的研究结果可知,可持续设计是建筑结构的重要评价因素,新建建筑是实现绿色建筑目标的有效途径,但是,高昂的建筑成本控制了预制结构的普及和使用。BIM创新是制造业的一项尖端技术,与预制相结合非常有效,依靠BIM技术,建筑预制的成本得到了管理,与传统结构相比,它具有建造速度快、安全性高、环保等优点。本研究还考察了影响制造和运输因素的成本,并阐述了基于BI M技术的预制成本管理方法。它从成本控制、财务分析和经济估算三个方面检查了BIM技术在这一阶段的使用情况,并最终确认了以预制结构为研究对象的基于BIM的成本估算的可行性。

Problem of living liver donation in the absence of deceased liver transplantation program:Mansoura experience

We report our experience with potential donors for living donor liver transplantation(LDLT), which is the first report from an area where there is no legalized deceased donation program. This is a single center retrospective analysis of potential living donors(n = 1004) between May 2004 and December 2012. This report focuses on the analysis of causes, duration, cost, and various implications of donor exclusion(n = 792).Most of the transplant candidates(82.3%) had an experience with more than one excluded donor(median = 3). Some recipients travelled abroad for a deceased donor transplant(n = 12) and some died before finding a suitable donor(n = 14). The evaluation of an excluded donor is a time-consuming process(median = 3 d, range 1 d to 47 d). It is also a costly process with a median cost of approximately 70 USD(range 35 USD to 885 USD). From these results, living donor exclusion has negative implications on the patients and transplant program with ethical dilemmas and an economic impact. Many strategies are adopted by other centers to expand the donor pool; however, they are not all applicable in our locality. We conclude that an active legalized deceased donor transplantation program is necessary to overcome the shortage of available liver grafts in Egypt.

A Statistical Framework for Real-Time Traffic Accident Recognition

Over the past decade, automatic traffic accident recognition has become a prominent objective in the area of machine vision and pattern recognition because of its immense application potential in developing autonomous Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). In this paper, we present a new framework toward a real-time automated recognition of traffic accident based on the Histogram of Flow Gradient (HFG) and statistical logistic regression analysis. First, optical flow is estimated and the HFG is constructed from video shots. Then vehicle patterns are clustered based on the HFG-features. By using logistic regression analysis to fit data to logistic curves, the classifier model is generated. Finally, the trajectory of the vehicle by which the accident was occasioned, is determined and recorded. The experimental results on real video sequences demonstrate the efficiency and the applicability of the framework and show it is of higher robustness and can comfortably provide latency guarantees to real-time surveillance and traffic monitoring applications.

Artificial intelligence (AI) has proven time and time again to be a game-changer innovation in every walk of life, including medicine. Introduced by Dr. Gunn in 1976 to accurately diagnose acute abdominal pain and list potential differentials, AI has since come a long way. In particular, AI has been aiding in radiological diagnoses with good sensitivity and specificity by using machine learning algorithms. With the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, AI has proven to be more than just a tool to facilitate healthcare workers in decision making and limiting physician-patient contact during the pandemic. It has guided governments and key policymakers in formulating and implementing laws, such as lockdowns and travel restrictions, to curb the spread of this viral disease. This has been made possible by the use of social media to map severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 hotspots, laying the basis of the "smart lockdown" strategy that has been adopted globally. However, these benefits might be accompanied with concerns regarding privacy and unconsented surveillance, necessitating authorities to develop sincere and ethical government–public relations.
