We report the magnetic properties of Tb/Si multilayers obtained by rf-sputtering at the Tb layer thickness LTb = 3 nm. Analysis of the magnetization processes indicates more complex behaviour than canonical spinglass transition. It is more probable that these multilayers contain both Tb superparamagnetic particles and Tb-Si spin-glass alloys.

Studying the behavior of effective ion charge Zeff, which indicates the degree of pollution of plasma and can provide valuable information about many processes taking place in plasma, mechanisms of the releasing impurities, transport, etc is of great interest. This paper describes the development of the Zeff diagnostic system for the Globus-M2 tokamak. The effective ion charge is determined on the basis of measurements of the bremsstrahlung intensity and Thomson scattering data-Te and ne profiles. The results of the first Zeff measurements obtained for several discharges on the Globus-M tokamak are presented in this paper. The results have been validated by simulation using the ASTRA transport code for the same discharges, and it has demonstrated a good agreement with the experimental results.

This study demonstrates the influence of the Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio in precursor solution on the crystal structural formation,morphology,physical properties,and photocatalytic performance of a Ag_(3)PO_(4)photocatalyst that is fabricated,using a facile precipitation method,from AgnO_(3)and na2HPO_(4)·12H_(2)*** material characterizations were carried out using x-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscopy(SEM),energy-dispersive x-ray spectroscopy(EDX),Brunauer–Emmett–Teller(BET)surface area,Fourier transform infrared(FTIR)absorption,Raman scattering,x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS),Uv-vis absorption,and photoluminescence(PL).The results show that Ag_(3)PO_(4)crystallizes better when the excess PO_(4)^(3-)content increases,and the lattice parameters decrease slightly,while the crystal diameter and the particle size *** change is also observed in the Raman scattering and FTIR spectra with the increase in the vibration frequency of the[PO_(4)]*** compression of the[PO_(4)]unit was also confirmed in the XPS spectra with the shift of P 2p peaks toward higher binding *** photocatalytic results showed that the samples synthesized from excess PO_(4)^(3-)solution exhibited higher photocatalytic performance compared to the sample with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.A sample prepared from the precursor solution with a Ag^(+)/PO_(4)^(3-)ratio of 3:1.5 was optimal for RhB decomposition under both visible light and natural sunlight,completely decomposing 10 ppm RhB after 15 minutes of xenon lamp irradiation and after 60 minutes under solar light *** is attributed to the high crystallinity,small particle size and low electron–hole recombination rate of the sample.

FeCrBMnSi alloy coating on steel substrate（310S） was fabricated by a high-velocity arc spraying（HvAS） process. Degradation behavior of the coatings at temperatures of 700℃ and 900℃ in air and in the coal fired boiler at（700±10）℃ was studied. X-ray difraction（XRD） and scanning electron microscopy/energydisperse spectroscopy（SEM/EDS） were used to characterize the coating as well as to analyze the corrosion products for elucidating the corrosion *** exhibited dense and globular morphology and the splats were interconnected as evident from SEM analysis. The maximum microhardness of the coating was found to be 630–1060 Hv. The FeCrBMnSi alloy coating has imparted necessary resistance to oxidation and showed good adherence to the 310S substrate during the exposures with no tendency for spallation of its oxide scale.

Two mean-field potentials, Woods-Saxon and Skyrme based potentials, are used to calculate the energies of low-lying one-quasiparticle states. The spectra of the low-lying states and the α-decay spectra of nuclei belonging to the α-decay chains of ^285Fl and ^291,293Lv are calculated and compared with the available experimental data. Dependence of the splitting of the pseudospin doublets and of the energies of the unique parity neutron one-quasiparticle states on the mean field potential are discussed. As shown, the α-decay spectra could be different in the α-decay chain and at the direct production of the nucleus in a fusion reaction.

The main goal of our study is to reveal unexpected but intriguing analogies arising between optical solitons and nuclear physics,which still remain hidden from *** consider the main cornerstones of the concept of nonlinear optics of nuclear reactions and the well-dressed repulsive-core *** the base of this model,we reveal the most intriguing properties of the nonlinear tunneling of nucleus-like solitons and the soliton selfinduced sub-barrier transparency *** describe novel interesting and stimulating analogies between the interaction of nucleus-like solitons on the repulsive barrier and nuclear sub-barrier *** main finding of this study concerns the conservation of total number of nucleons(or the baryon number)in nuclear-like soliton *** show that inelastic interactions among well-dressed repulsive-core solitons arise only when a“cloud”of“dressing”spectral side-bands appears in the frequency spectra of the *** property of nucleus-like solitons is directly related to the nuclear density distribution described by the dimensionless small shape-squareness *** the Fourier spectra of nucleus-like solitons are similar to the nuclear form *** show that the nuclear-like reactions between well-dressed solitons are realized by“exchange”between“particle-like”side bands in their spectra.

The dominant process in relaxation of DC glow discharge between two plane parallel electrodes in argon at pressure 200 Pa is analyzed by measuring the breakdown time delay and by analytical and numerical models. By using the approx- imate analytical model it is found that the relaxation in a range from 20 to 60 ms in afterglow is dominated by Ar＋ ions, produced by atomic-to-molecular conversion of Ar＋ ions in the first several milliseconds after the cessation of the discharge. This conversion is confirmed by the presence of double-Gaussian distribution for the formative time delay, as well as con- version maxima in a set of memory curves measured in different conditions. Finally, the numerical one-dimensional （1D） model for determining the number densities of dominant particles in stationary DC glow discharge and two-dimensional （2D） model for the relaxation are used to confirm the previous assumptions and to determine the corresponding collision and transport coefficients of dominant species and processes.

Two different types of MHD instabilities with rapidly chirping frequency were found to arise in the Globus-M2 spherical tokamak in substantially different frequency *** first type arises at frequencies of an order of 1 MHz in ohmic plasmas at relatively low density(n_(e))n a wide range of toroidal magnetic fields and plasma *** type of instability was identified as compressional Alfven waves,driven by electrons,accelerated during a sawtooth *** was found that the mode frequency is sweeping in time,according to the Berk-Breizman hole-clump nonlinear chirping *** second type of wave arises in a specific single-swing regime of the central solenoid current with a very narrow plasma column,when the plasma tends to decay at extremely low density(n_(e))nd,in fact,is an instability of the runaway electron *** exited modes cover the whole observed frequency range and are divided into several(two or three)frequency regions:approximately 0-30 MHz,60-120 MHz and sometimes 30-60 *** of the branches was also *** chirps are more rapid than for 1 MHz Alfven instability and follow an exponential *** paper,to our knowledge,is the first report of frequency chirping instabilities excited by accelerated electrons at a spherical tokamak.
