Systematic Cloud-Based Optimization: Twin-Fold Moth Flame Algorithm for VM Deployment and Load-Balancing

Cloud computing has gained significant recognition due to its ability to provide a broad range of online services and ***,existing commercial cloud computing models demonstrate an appropriate design by concentrating computational assets,such as preservation and server infrastructure,in a limited number of large-scale worldwide data *** the deployment of virtual machines(VMs)is crucial in this scenario to ensure system dependability,performance,and minimal latency.A significant barrier in the present scenario is the load distribution,particularly when striving for improved energy consumption in a hypothetical grid computing *** design employs load-balancing techniques to allocate different user workloads across several virtual *** address this challenge,we propose using the twin-fold moth flame technique,which serves as a very effective optimization *** intentionally designed the twin-fold moth flame method to consider various restrictions,including energy efficiency,lifespan analysis,and resource *** provides a thorough approach to evaluating total costs in the cloud computing *** assessing the efficacy of our suggested strategy,the study will analyze significant metrics such as energy efficiency,lifespan analysis,and resource *** investigation aims to enhance cloud computing techniques by developing a new optimization algorithm that considers multiple factors for effective virtual machine placement and load *** proposed work demonstrates notable improvements of 12.15%,10.68%,8.70%,13.29%,18.46%,and 33.39%for 40 count data of nodes using the artificial bee colony-bat algorithm,ant colony optimization,crow search algorithm,krill herd,whale optimization genetic algorithm,and improved Lévy-based whale optimization algorithm,respectively.

Exogenous melatonin enhances heat stress tolerance in sweetpotato by modulating antioxidant defense system,osmotic homeostasis and stomatal traits

Heat stress hinders the growth and productivity of sweetpotato plants,predominantly through oxidative damage to cellular ***,the development of efficient approaches for mitigating heat-related impairments is essential for the long-term production of *** has been recognised for its capacity to assist plants in dealing with abiotic stress *** research aimed to investigate how different doses of exogenous melatonin influence heat damage in sweetpotato *** stress drastically affected shoot and root fresh weight by 31.8 and 44.5%,*** reduction resulted in oxidative stress characterised by increased formation of hydrogen peroxide(H_(2)O_(2))by 804.4%,superoxide ion(O_(2)^(·-))by 211.5%and malondialdehyde(MDA)by 234.2%.Heat stress also reduced chlorophyll concentration,photosystemⅡefficiency(F_v/F_m)by 15.3%and gaseous ***,pre-treatment with 100μmol L^(-1)melatonin increased growth and reduced oxidative damage to sweetpotato plants under heat *** particular,melatonin decreased H_(2)O_(2),O_(2)^(·-)and MDA by 64.8%,42.7%and 38.2%,*** also mitigated the decline in chlorophyll levels and improved stomatal traits,gaseous exchange and F_(v)/F_(m)(13%).Results suggested that the favorable outcomes of melatonin treatment can be associated with elevated antioxidant enzyme activity and an increase in non-enzymatic antioxidants and ***,these findings indicate that exogenous melatonin can improve heat stress tolerance in *** stu dy will assist re searchers in further investigating how melatonin makes sweetpotatoes more resistant to heat stress.

Interpretable Detection of Malicious Behavior in Windows Portable Executables Using Multi-Head 2D Transformers

Windows malware is becoming an increasingly pressing problem as the amount of malware continues to grow and more sensitive information is stored on *** of the major challenges in tackling this problem is the complexity of malware analysis,which requires expertise from human *** developments in machine learning have led to the creation of deep models for malware ***,these models often lack transparency,making it difficult to understand the reasoning behind the model’s decisions,otherwise known as the black-box *** address these limitations,this paper presents a novel model for malware detection,utilizing vision transformers to analyze the Operation Code(OpCode)sequences of more than 350000 Windows portable executable malware samples from real-world *** model achieves a high accuracy of 0.9864,not only surpassing the previous results but also providing valuable insights into the reasoning behind the *** model is able to pinpoint specific instructions that lead to malicious behavior in malware samples,aiding human experts in their analysis and driving further advancements in the *** report our findings and show how causality can be established between malicious code and actual classification by a deep learning model,thus opening up this black-box problem for deeper analysis.

A new study and modeling of COVID-19 disease through fractional models:A comparative paradigm

In this research,novel epidemic models based on fractional calculus are developed by utilizing the Caputo and Atangana-Baleanu(AB)*** models integrate vaccination effects,additional safety measures,home and hospital isolation,and treatment *** models are particularly significant as they provide a more comprehensive understanding of epidemic diseases and can account for non-locality and memory *** points of the model are calculated,including the disease-free and endemic equilibrium points,and the basic reproduction number R0 is computed using the next-generation matrix *** indicate that the epidemic becomes endemic when R0 is greater than unity,and it goes extinct when it is less than *** positiveness and boundedness of the solutions of model are *** Routh-Hurwitz technique is utilized to analyze the local stability of equilibrium *** Lyapunov function and the LaSalle’s principle are used to demonstrate the global stability of equilibrium *** schemes are proposed,and their validity is established by comparing them to the fourth-order Runge-Kutta(RK4)*** simulations are performed using the Adams-Bashforth-Moulton predictor-corrector algorithm for the Caputo time-fractional derivative and the Toufik-Atangana numerical technique for the AB time-fractional *** study looks at how the quarantine policy affected different human population *** the basis of these findings,a strict quarantine policy voluntarily implemented by an informed human population can help reduce the pandemic’s ***,vaccination efforts become a crucial tool in the fight against *** can greatly lower the number of susceptible people and develop a shield of immunity in the population by guaranteeing common access to vaccinations and boosting vaccination ***,the graphical representations of the fractional models are also developed.

Dipole and Combo Optical Solitons in Birefringent Fibers in the Presence of Four-Wave Mixing

The ultimate theme of this study is to develop dipole and combo optical solitons in birefringent fibers(BF) along with the effect of four-wave mixing(4 WM). Two types of rough mediums are used which are Kerr law and parabolic law. Ansatz method of Choudhuri is applied to obtain dark in the bright(dipole) soliton solutions providing bright background for the propagation of optical dark pulse. Ansatz method of Li is applied to obtain combo soliton solutions providing bright solitary wave and dark solitary wave solutions. These results also exist to hold in non-Kerr media with higher order dispersion.

Insights of numerical simulations of magnetohydrodynamic squeezing nanofluid flow through a channel with permeable walls

An analysis related to the transport of nanofluid that is confined in a channel between two orthogonal permeable walls will be investigated with the help of two numerical *** the aid of the reasonable similarity changeover;the said model will be shaped into the desired non-linear equation whose behavior will be explained analytically as well as graphically where the functioning of three disparate variables such as magnetic parameter,permeable Reynold number,and channel permeable ratio will be explained *** said model has been controlled by the homotopy analysis method(HAM)and then,compared through an efficient numerical method named shooting method(ShM).The profiles show that increases in the magnetic parameter decline the nanofluid flow velocity,whereas magnitude-wise raise is shown in each axial velocity *** radial profile raises while getting variation in wall expansion parameter from negative to *** the entire domain,the rate of change in velocity description enhances at the center while reduces at the *** the outcomes disclose that the wall permeable ratio has a significant impact on the *** the zero value of wall ratio refers to the particular type that Terrill has discussed.

Biodegradation of Leather Waste by Enzymatic Treatment

The treatment of shavings,trimmings and splits of leather waste from tanneries has a potential to generate value-added products. In this study enzymatic treatment of leather waste was performed. This method utilizes alkaline protease produced by Bacillus subtilis in our laboratory by submerged fermentation. Optimum conditions of pH,time duration,temperature and concentration of enzyme were determined for maximum degradation of leather waste. The amount of degradation was measured by the release of amino acid hydroxyproline. Amino acid composition in the hydrolysate obtained by the enzyme hydrolysis was determined. This relative simple biotreatment of leather waste may provide a practical and economical solution.
