The coconut palm tree leaf sheath fibers were analyzed by FTIR spectral analysis, chemical, X-ray and thermo gravimetric methods to assess their suitability as reinforcements in the preparation of green composites. The morphology of the untreated and alkali treated fibers was studied by scanning electron microscopic method. The FTIR and chemical analyses indicated lowering of hemi-cellulose content by alkali treatment of the fibers. The X-ray diffraction revealed an increase in crystallinity of the fibers on alkali treatment. The thermal stability of the fibers was found to increase slightly by alkali treatment. The tensile properties of these fibers increased on alkali treatment. The mechanical and other physical properties indicated that these fibers were suitable as reinforcements for making the green composites.

circulating tumor clusters(cTc)disseminating from the primary tumor are responsible for secondary tumor formation where the conventional treatments such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy does not prevent the metastasis at locally advanced stage of breast *** this study,a smart nanotheranostic system has been developed to track and eliminate the cTcs before it can colonize at a new site,which would reduce metastatic progression and increase the five-year survival rate of the breast cancer *** multiresponsive(magnetic hyperthermia and pH)nanomicelles incorporated with NIR fluorescent superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles were developed based on self-assembly for dual modal imaging and dual toxicity for spontaneous killing of cTcs in blood stream.A heterogenous tumor clusters model was developed to mimic the cTcs isolated from breast cancer *** nanotheranostic system was further evaluated for the targeting property,drug release kinetics,hyperthermia and cytotoxicity against developed cTc model in *** vivo model in BALB/c mice equivalent to stageⅢandⅣhuman metastatic breast cancer was developed to evaluate the biodistribution and therapeutic efficacy of micellar nanotheranostic *** cTcs in blood stream and low distant organ metastasis after treatment with the nanotheranostic system demonstrates its potential to capture and kill the cTcs that minimize the secondary tumor formation at distant sites.

Objective To evaluate the expression and diagnostic value of levels of the microRNAs(miRNAs),miRNA-181a,miRNA-23b,and miRNA-16,in late-onset neonatal sepsis(LOS)and compare them with the diagnostic utility of c-reactive protein(cRP)*** This was a prospective diagnostic study conducted between January 2021 and March 2023 at a tertiary care center(Sri Ramachandra Hospital)in *** real-time polymerase chain reaction was performed to determine miRNA-181a,miRNA-23b,and miRNA-16 expression levels,and cRP was measured by *** diagnostic value of miRNA and cRP levels were analyzed using receiver operating characteristic(ROc)*** curves were utilized to determine optimal cutoff points,and Mann–Whitney tests were performed using SPSS to ascertain P values,with statistical significance defined ascluded 100 samples,with 50 cases of culture-proven LOS(27 females,23 males)and 50 healthy controls(31 females,19 males).In LOS,miRNA-181a and miRNA-23b expression levels were significantly downregulated(Pcurve(AUc)values of 0.83 and 0.92,respectively,whereas those of miRNA-16 were significantly upregulated(Pc=0.97).In comparison,cRP levels had an AUc value of 0.831(Pcificity(96%).conclusion MiRNA,especially miRNA-16,shows diagnostic potential for neonatal sepsis compared with traditional biomarkers like cRP and procalcitonin,suggesting its use as an early marker for ***,further cohort studies are needed before practical application.

As environmental concerns from fossil fuel consumption intensify, large-scale energy storage becomes imperative for the integration of renewable sources like wind, hydro, and solar with the electrical *** flow batteries, particularly those employing organic molecules, are positioned as a key technology for this purpose. This review explores the growing field of symmetric organic redox flow batteries(ORFBs) within this context. Unlike traditional asymmetric designs based on unique active materials for each electrode, symmetric ORFBs involve a single bipolar species for both electrodes. This review highlights the benefits of a symmetric design, and categorizes five distinct classes of organic bipolar molecules used in both aqueous and non-aqueous solvents. By providing a comprehensive overview of their cell cycling and performance characteristics, the strengths and weaknesses of the diverse categories of bipolar molecules are highlighted for both solvent systems, as are opportunities for future development. This should guide new research directions and advance the development of practical symmetric ORFBs.

Layered double hydroxide（LDH） comprising of co^2＋ and La^3＋-ions with acetate counter anion was successfully synthesized by hydrogen peroxide catalyzed hydrolysis reaction and characterized extensively. The observed reflections in the powder X-ray diffraction pattern could be indexed in P3 space group with a=0.316 nm and c=2.97 nm. Lattice fringes of distances corresponding to the peaks observed in X-ray diffraction pattern were observed in high resolution transmission electron microscopic images. UV-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy results confirmed the presence of co（OH）6 along with the presence of charge-transfer band due to the interlayer carboxylate anion. Magnetization measurements at room temperature indicated high spin configuration of co^2＋-ion in the sample exhibiting paramagnetic behavior. The mixed metal oxide from calcination was used to reconstruct the parent layered structure. Intercalation experiments with other organic anions in co-La LDH proved be successful.

Mechanically durable transparent electrodes are essential for achieving long-term stability in flexible optoelectronic ***,they are crucial for applications in the fields of energy,display,healthcare,and soft *** meshes represent a promising alternative to traditional,brittle,metal oxide conductors due to their high electrical conductivity,optical transparency,and enhanced mechanical *** this paper,we present a simple method for fabricating an ultra-transparent conducting metal oxide mesh electrode using selfcracking-assisted *** this method,we produced an electrode with ultra-transparency(97.39%),high conductance(Rs=21.24Ωsq^(−1)),elevated work function(5.16 eV),and good mechanical *** also evaluated the effectiveness of the fabricated electrodes by integrating them into organic photovoltaics,organic light-emitting diodes,and flexible transparent memristor devices for neuromorphic computing,resulting in exceptional device *** addition,the unique porous structure of the vanadium-doped indium zinc oxide mesh electrodes provided excellent flexibility,rendering them a promising option for application in flexible optoelectronics.

The mobile transient and sensor network’s routing algorithm detects available multi-hop paths between source and destination ***,some methods are not as reliable or trustworthy as ***,finding a reliable method is an important factor in improving communication *** further enhancement of protected communication,we suggest a trust cluster based secure routing(TcSR)framework for wireless sensor network(WSN)using optimization ***,we introduce an efficient cluster formation using a modified tug of war optimization(MTWO)algorithm,which provides loadbalanced clusters for energy-efficient data ***,we illustrate the optimal head selection using multiple design constraints received signal strength,congestion rate,data loss rate,and throughput of the *** parameters are optimized by a butterfly optimal deep neural network(BO-DNN),which provides first-level security towards the selection of the best head ***,we utilize the lightweight signcryption to encrypt the data between two nodes during data transmission,which provides second-level *** model provides an estimation of the trust level of each route to help a source node to select the most secure *** nodes of the network improve reliability and security by maintaining the reliability *** results showed that the proposed scheme achieved 45.6%of delivery ratio.
