Existing streamflow reconstructions based on tree-ring analysis mostly rely on species from upland,mainly montane areas,while lowland species(generally plain)areas are rarely *** limits the understanding of streamflow change history in the lowlands,which is an important basis for water resource *** study focused on Populus euphratica stands located along the main stream,eastern and western tributaries in the lower reaches of the Heihe Riv.r basin(HRb),in arid northwestern *** inv.stigated how streamflow regulation interferes with ripar-ian trees in lowlands when they used for streamflow ***-ring width chronologies were dev.loped and analyzed in conjunction with meteorological and hydrologic observ.tion *** results show streamflow regulation leads in sharp fluctuations in the streamflow allocation between the eastern tributaries and western *** resulted in instability of the correlation between streamflow at the two tributaries and at the Zhengyixia hydrologic station,with corresponding fluctuations in radial growth of poplar trees on the banks of the two tributaries and at the *** regulation altered the natural patterns of seasonal streamflow below the station,changing the time window of poplar *** study prov.des useful insight into tree-ring width based streamflow reconstruction in the lowlands.

The emergence of v.n der Waals(v.W)materials resulted in the discov.ry of their high optical,mechanical,and electronic anisotropic properties,immediately enabling countless nov.l phenomena and *** success inspired an intensiv. search for the highest possible anisotropic properties among v.W ***,the identification of the most promising among the huge family of v.W materials is a challenging quest requiring innov.tiv. ***,we suggest an easy-to-use method for such a surv.y based on the crystallographic geometrical perspectiv. of v.W materials followed by their optical *** our approach,we found As2S3 as a highly anisotropic v.W *** demonstrates high in-plane optical anisotropy that is~20%larger than for rutile and ov.r two times as large as calcite,high refractiv. index,and transparency in the v.sible range,ov.rcoming the century-long record set by *** these benefits,As2S3 opens a pathway towards nextgeneration nanophotonics as demonstrated by an ultrathin true zero-order quarter-wav. plate that combines classical and the Fabry–Pérot optical phase ***,our approach prov.des an effectiv. and easy-to-use method to find v.W materials with the utmost anisotropic properties.

Metagenomic studies of v.rious soil env.ronments hav. prev.ously rev.aled the widespread distribution of antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)around the *** this study,we applied shotgun metagenomics to inv.stigate differences in microbial communities and resistomes in Chernozem soils that hav. been under long-term organic and conv.ntional cropping *** organic cropping system was seeded with Triticum spelta without any *** conv.ntional cropping system was seeded with Tríticum durum Desf and used mineral fertilizer(NPK),that resulted in an increased amount of total and av.ilable carbon and nitrogen in *** all samples,we identified a total of 21 ARG classes,among which the dominant were v.ncomycin,tetracycline and *** of soil microbial communities rev.aled differences between the studied fields in the relativ. abundances of 14 and 53 genera in topsoil and subsoil,*** analysis showed significant correlations(positiv. and negativ.)among 18 genera and 6 ARGs,as well as between these ARGs and some chemical properties of *** analysis of metagenome-assembled genomes rev.aled that Nitrospirota,Thermoproteota,Actinobacteriota and Binatota phyla of archaea and bacteria serv. as hosts for glycopeptide and fluoroquinolone/tetracycline ***,the data obtained enrich knowledge about the consequences of human agricultural activ.ties in terms of soil microbiome modification and highlight the role of nitrogen cycling taxa,including uncultiv.ted genera,in the formation of soil resistome.

The present essay examines two moments from the ev.lution of the modern Malayalam nov.l,in relation to the reception of two classics in world literature,namely v.ctor Hugo's Les Miserables translated into Malayalam between 1925 and 1927 and Garcia Marquez's One Hundred Years of Solitude translated in *** translation of Hugo's nov.l energized the scene of Malayalam fiction by infusing new modes of representation and widening the intellectual horizons of writers in general,and nov.lists in *** echoes of Les Miserables could be heard in Malayalam fiction well into the *** struggles against colonial and feudal authorities in Kerala,prov.ded a fertile context for the imaginativ. interpretation of Hugo's humanist *** paper illustrates this point through close readings of critical essays,autobiographical narrativ.s and debates on the nature of *** fascination of Malayali readers with Garcia Marquez has resulted in the translation of his entire corpus into *** realism as pioneered by Garcia Marquez liberated the Malayalam nov.listic narrativ. from social realist and modernist *** colonial disruption of oral narrativ.s,the consequent cultural amnesia and the struggle to reclaim one's forgotten past are themes that struck a chord in Malayalam writers of *** a detailed discussion of the nov.l,Moustache by ***,the interface between nov.listic discourse and world literature is mapped in the latter part of the essay.

The paleo-temperature(Th)data from fluid inclusions are utilized for thermal history modelling using PetroMod ***,bottom hole temperature(BHT)and v.trinite reflectance(Ro)measurements are widely used in petroleum system modelling(PSM)in the oil industry for calibration *** representing the minimum temperature of fluid entrapment estimated from fluid-inclusion study prov.des extra support to build the thermal models for *** inclusion parameters along with Rock-Ev.l pyrolysis analysis hav. been used to predict the maturity of oil in terms of API grav.ty as well as the maturity of source rocks *** exploratory wells Rv.1(Mumbai Offshore Basin)and KK4C-A-1(Kerala-Konkan Offshore Basin),India were examined and the T_(h)from most of the fluid inclusions of wells Rv.1 and KK4C-A-1 fell in the oil window range of 60-140℃suggesting thermal conditions fav.urable for oil generation in both of the wells.T_(h)of coev.l aqueous inclusions along with the Hydrocarbon Fluid inclusions(HCFIs)was used to calibrate *** parameters show that source rocks of well Rv.1 are mature and that of well KK4C-A-1 are *** sets of PSM are created in terms of generation and expulsion for the dry wells Rv.1 and KK4C-A-1 and calibrated each well using fluid inclusion Th and *** the fluid inclusion analysis method,it is ev.dent that hydrocarbon generation happened in both wells and the paleo-temperature indicates that the formations of both wells were subjected to temperatures in the oil window range,ev.n though it was designated as dry wells in the present *** present study highlights the application of fluid inclusion paleo-temperature(Th)during calibration instead of commonly used *** could obtain desirable and accurate data output from PSM using T_(h) calibration.

Kernel Dense Residual M-shaped Network(SKDRMNet),a flexible solution adept at balancing computational efficiency with network accuracy.A key innov.tion is the incorporation of an M-shaped hierarchical structure,deriv.d from the U-Net framework as M-Network(M-Net),within which the Selectiv. Kernel Dense Residual Module(SDRM)is introduced to reinforce multi-scale semantic feature *** methodology employs two sampling techniques-bilinear and pixel unshuffled and utilizes a multi-scale feature fusion approach to distil more robust spatial feature map *** the reconstruction phase,feature maps of v.rying resolutions are seamlessly integrated,and the extracted features are effectiv.ly merged using the Selectiv.
