The radiological differential diagnosis of acute pancreatitis includes diffuse pancreatic lymphoma,diffuse autoimmune pancreatitis and groove located mass lesions that may mimic groove *** energy computed tomography and diffusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging are useful in the early diagnosis of acute pancreatitis,and dual energy computed tomography is also useful in severity assessment and prognosis *** off necrosis is an important complication in terms of prognosis,and it is important to know its radiological findings and distinguish it from pseudocyst.

Background: Diabetes education is crucial in empowering persons with Type 1 diabetes (T1DM) and their families to properly manage the condition by providing comprehensive knowledge, tools, and support. It boosts one’s belief in their ability to succeed, encourages following medical advice, and adds to the general enhancement of health. Objective: This study is to investigate the effectiveness of diabetes education in empowering individuals with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) and their families to effectively manage the condition. Furthermore, it strives to improve nursing care for families whose children have been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM). Design: This research study investigates the efficacy of diabetes education in empowering individuals with Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM) and their families to effectively handle the condition. Materials and Methods: A systematic search was conducted between the years 2000 and 2022, utilizing the Medline and Google Scholar databases. The purpose of the search was to uncover relevant papers pertaining to diabetes education, management of Type 1 Diabetes Mellitus (T1DM), nurse care, and empowerment. The search focused on peer-reviewed research, clinical trials, and scholarly articles that evaluated the efficacy of diabetes education in empowering individuals and families. Results: Diabetes education is crucial for understanding and controlling T1DM. It includes personalized sessions, webinars, group classes, and clinics that provide customized therapies. Comprehensive education enhances glycemic control and family dynamics. Nevertheless, the implementation of diabetes education for families requires specific standards, especially in the field of nursing. Objective:To identify effects of various nationwide vaccination protocols on the evolution of new SARS-CoV-2 infections among adult population and to evaluate the safety of mRNA(BioNTech/Pfizer)***:Totally 10735 adult volunteers that received at least one dose of BioNTech/Pfizer or triple doses of CoronaVac participated in this cross-sectional-online survey between 1 and 10 September *** information was collected covering a 5-month period from April 2021 to September *** about people who were vaccinated with only single and double dose CoronaVac were not included in this ***:At least one side effect after single and double dose of BioNTech/Pfizer and triple doses of CoronaVac were observed in 42.1%,42.5%and 10.9%,*** most common side effects were shoulder/arm pain,weakness/fatigue,muscle/joint pain and *** side effects were the most frequent in single BioNTech/Pfizer,while it was the least in triple *** rate of positive PCR tests before vaccination was 17.6%,and decreased to 3.0%after *** rates of positive SARS CoV-2-PCR were 18.8%,3.5%,3.1%,0.5%and 4.6%in single BioNTech/Pfizer,double BioNTech/Pfizer,double CoronaVac+single BioNTech/Pfizer,double CoronaVac+double BioNTech/Pfizer and triple CoronaVac,*** 1.8%of PCR positive COVID-19 cases needed intensive unit care in the pre-vaccination period,intensive care unit was required in 0%,1.5%,2.4%,0%and 4.2%after single BioNTech/Pfizer,double BioNTech/Pfizer,double CoronaVac+single BioNTech/Pfizer,double CoronaVac+double BioNTech/Pfizer and triple CoronaVac,*** rate after vaccination was 0.4%.Conclusions:The rarity of COVID-19 infection after vaccination suggests that efficacy of vaccines is *** the other hand,the data underscore the critical importance of continued public health mitigation.

The correlation between technological innovation,economic growth,renewable energy,and ecological footprint carries significant policy implications for environmental ***,financial inclusion can drastically affect the technology-climate nexus across different countries and its moderating impacts have received sufficient *** do this,this study examined how technological innovation,financial inclusion,economic growth,and renewable energy affected emerging economies’ecological footprint from 1990 to ***,this study also scrutinizes the moderating role of financial inclusion with other regressors on ecological *** account for structural shifts,disguised cointegration,and numerous breaks in panel regression,this study applies advanced panel estimation methods for empirical *** estimated outcomes exhibit that the influence of technical innovation,climate technologies,and renewable energy significantly reduces the ecological footprint ***,economic growth and financial inclusion significantly increase the ecological footprint levels in the emerging ***,the integration of innovative technology and renewable energy in emerging countries mitigates the adverse effects of financial inclusion by making it easier for creative technologies and reducing ecological *** results show that emerging countries’innovative technology and renewable energy sources should be integrated with financial inclusion to enable longterm mitigation of environmental damages and sustainable *** on these estimated findings,the research recommends that emerging economies should hasten technological innovations along with stronger financial development to curtail ecological concerns without hindering the pace of sustainable economic growth.

In this study,our aim was to examine the diagnostic and prognostic significance of lymphocyte/C-reactiveprotein ratio(LCR),neutrophil/lymphocyte ratio(NLR)and D-dimer parameters in COVID-19 *** LCR,NLR,neutrophil count,mean platelet volume(MPV),C-reactive protein(CRP),and D-dimer parameters wereevaluated *** was a retrospective cohort study with 1000 COVID-19 positive and 1000 healthycontrol groups,all over the age of 18 *** ratio(OR)and 95%confidence interval(CI)values were calculatedfor each parameter found to be statistically significant in the univariate and multivariate logistic regression ***,127(12.7%)of the COVID-19^(+)patients,whose data was included in this study,*** neutrophil,MPV,CRP,D-dimer,and NLR values were higher in the COVID-19^(+)/deceased group than in the COVID-19^(+)/alive andcontrol groups(p<0.001,p<0.001,p<0.001,p<0.001,p<0.001).The lymphocyte and LCR values were lower inthe COVID-19^(+)/deceased group than in the COVID-19^(+)/alive and control groups(p<0.001,p<0.001).Variableswith statistically significance in predicting COVID-19 infection were lymphocyte,LCR,D-dimer,NLR,CRP,MPV,PLT,and neutrophil *** significant variables in predicting mortality due to COVID-19 were LCR,CRP,NLR,lymphocyte,D-dimer,neutrophil,and MPV values.A low LCR and high NLR are associated with thepresence,prognosis,and mortality due to *** and NLR parameters can thus be used in clinicalmonitoring to reduce morbidity and mortality rates.

The SRS TM Endoscopic Stapling System(Medigus,Tel Aviv,Israel) is a new tool capable of creating a totally endoscopic fundoplication,combined with an endoscope,endoscopic ultrasound and a surgical *** TM endoscopic stapling for gastro-esophageal reflux disease is a minimally invasive,outpatient procedure,which requires general anesthesia with positive-pressure *** the patient on positive endexpiratory pressure(PEEP) may minimize the pressure gradient between the esophagus and the mediastinum,as well as help to prevent air from leaking around the screws and causing *** addition,in patients with hiatal hernia,higher PEEP levels may be required to increase intra-thoracic pressure and to force the stomach to slide into the abdomen for ease of *** advise smoother emergence from anesthesia,taking precautions for retching,postoperative nausea and vomiting(PONV),while coughing and gagging during extubation and PONV may affect the success of the *** intravenous anesthesia with propofol and remifentanil seems to be a good choice for these reasons.

Polymer-based materials have been motivated to be an alternative support system element in the mining/tunneling industry due to their logistic and geotechnical *** spray-on liner(TSL),a term to define the application of the material on the rock surface with a layer ranging from 2 mm to10 mm in thickness,shows some promising *** are mainly composed of plastic,polymer,or cement-based ingredients to a certain *** study intends to reveal the time-dependent response of TSL specimens,cured throughout 500 d,under four constant stress levels for stable laboratory *** results were correlated using two interrelated equations to predict the material’s service life(creep-rupture envelopes).The proposed correlations offered an insight into both the effective permanent support time and the strain amount at the liner *** time-dependent deformation of TSL,whose performance is highly responsive to creep behavior,was obtained so that the design engineers may use the findings to avoid the severe problems of material *** data were also used to develop a Burgers(four-element)creep *** the liner has a nonlinear time-dependent behavior,creep models were built for each stress level ***,a generic equation was obtained using the nonlinear parametric *** is a good agreement between the proposed model and the experimental *** proposed model can be used as a basis for future numerical studies related to the support behavior of aged surface support liners.

Comparison of autofluorescence and optical coherence tomography findings in acute and chronic central serous chorioretinopathy

AIM:To discuss and compare the fundus autofluorescence(FAF)and optical coherence tomography(OCT)in acute or chronic central serous chorioretinopathy(CSCR).METHODS:Medical records of 100 cases of CSCR were *** and chronic cases were evaluated according to the duration of decreased visual acuity,serous retinal detachment(RD)and focal leakage on fluorescein angiography(FA).Chi-square test was used for statistical ***:Forty cases had acute and 60 cases had chronic *** showed focal hypo-autofluorescence in 34(85%)and iso-autofluorescence in 6(15%)of acute cases and hypo-autofluorescence in 51(85%),hyperautofluorescence in 6(10%)and iso-autofluorescence in3(5%)of chronic *** showed serous RD with distinct borders correlated with FAF findings(hypoautofluorescence)in all acute CSCR *** chronic CSCR group,OCT showed serous RD with indistinct borders correlated with FAF *** differences between the OCT and FAF findings of the two groups were significant(P=0.000).CONCLUSION:OCT and FAF findings can support the clinical observations in differential diagnosis of acute and chronic CSCR and help clinicians to evaluate retinal pigment epithelium,outer segments of photoreceptors and the components of serous RD.
