This study investigates an inventory model for a non-instantaneous deteriorating item with partial backlogging wherein the demand is stochastic in nature and depends on price and promotional effort whereas the deterioration rate is time *** these settings,a mathematical model is developed with the objective to maximise the expected profit per unit time by determining the optimal price and the length of replenishment *** useful theoretical results are established to deduce the optimal replenishment *** effective algorithmic procedure is developed to find the optimal solutions to the proposed *** applicability of the proposed model is illustrated by numerical *** analysis of the optimal solution with respect to key parameters has been carried out and the implications are *** study indicates that though promotional effort stimulates the market demand,it is beneficial in an economic sense when it applies in a conservative manner.

This study investigates the effect of learning in fuzziness by considering fuzzy demand in theEOQ model for deteriorating items under a finite time *** crisp equivalent form of the fuzzy objective function is obtained by employing the centroid *** calculus,the number of replenishments which optimizes the fuzzy objective function is *** model is extended by applying learning in fuzziness and an algorithm is developed to determine the number of *** illustrations are provided for the model under a crisp,fuzzy and fuzzylearning *** results reveal that the cost is lower with learning in fuzziness than that of without learning in ***,results indicate that the learning in fuzziness is more effective whenever the parameter has higher impreciseness in the estimation of its value.

The dosimetric phosphors Li3PO4：M（M=Tb, Cu） were produced by modified solid-state *** structural and morphological characterization was carried out through X-ray diffraction（XRD） and scanning electron microscope（SEM）. Additionally, the photoluminescence（PL）, thermoluminescence（TL） and optically stimulated luminescence（OSL） properties of powder Li3PO4 doped with Tb and Cu were studied. It is advocated that Li3PO4： Cu phosphor not only shows higher OSL sensitivity（25 times or more） but also gives faster decay in OSL signals than that of Li3PO4： Tb^（3＋） phosphor. The minimum detectable dose（MDD） of Li3PO4：M（M=Tb,Cu） phosphors is found to be 21.69 × 10^（-3） and 3.33 ×10^（-6） J·kg^（-1）,respectively. In OSL mode, phosphor shows linear dose response in the range of 0.02-20.00 J·kg^（-1）.In TL mode, sensitivity of Li3PO4： Cu phosphor is more than that of Li3PO4： Tb phosphor. The kinetics parameters such as activation energy and frequency factors were determined by peak shape method, and photoionization cross sections of prepared phosphor were calculated.

A number of investigations into application of polymers for macro-morphological modification of tool surface have been carried out. These researches, with extensive stress on convex or domed protuberations as one of the widely used construction units, have tried to harness benefits from using polymers in agriculture. Ultra high molecular weight polyethylene （UHMW-PE） has proved an emerging polymer in its application to reduce soil adhesion. This research was conducted to study the effect of shape （flat, semi-spherical, semi-oblate, semi short-prolate and semi long-prolate） and dimensions （base diameter and dome height） on sliding resistance and normal adhesion of biomimetic plates. To incorporate both shape and size, a dimensionless ratio of height to diameter （HDR） was introduced to characterize the effect of construction unit＇s physique. Experiments were conducted in Bangkok clay soil with dry （ 19.8% d.b.）, sticky （36.9% d.b.） and flooded （60.1% d.b.） soil conditions respectively. Soil at sticky limit exhibited the highest sliding resistance （77.8 N） and normal adhesion （3 kPa to 7 kPa）, whereas these values were 61.7 N and 〈0.2 kPa in dry, and 53.7 N and 0.5 kPa to 1.5 kPa in flooded soil conditions. Protuberances with HDR ≤ 0.5 lowered sliding resistance by 10% - 30% and the same reduced normal adhesion by 10% - 60%. The amount of reduction in both sliding resistance and normal adhesion was higher in flooded soil. Lighter normal loads obviously produced lesser resistance and adhesion.

Morphology controlled synthesis of nanoparticles of powerful high energetic compounds(HECs) such as l,3,5-trinitro-l,3,5-triazinane(RDX) and 1,3,5,7-tetranitro-l,3,5,7-tetrazocane(HMX) were achieved by a simple solvent—antisolvent interaction(SAI) method at 70 ℃.The effects of different solvents on particle size and morphology of the prepared nano-HECs were studied *** size and morphology of the nano-HECs was characterized using field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM) imaging.X-ray diffraction(XRD) and Fourier transform infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy studies revealed that RDX and HMX were precipitated in their most stable polymorphic forms,i.e.a and P,*** analysis coupled with differential scanning calorimetry(TGA-DSC) studies showed that the thermal response of the nanoparticles was similar to the respective *** nanoparticles with spherical and rod shaped morphology were observed under different solvent *** mean particle size also varied considerably with the use of different solvents.

This paper is an attempt to understand the physical processes occurring in different layers of the solar atmosphere during a solar *** a complete understanding of the flare,we must analyze multiwavelength datasets,as emission at different wavelengths originates from different layers in the solar ***,flares are transient and localized events observed to occur at all *** these considerations,we have carried out multi-wavelength analysis of two representative flare *** event occurred close to the center of the solar disk and the other occurred close to the *** the former case,we examine emission from the lower layers of the solar *** the chromosphere,transition region and also photospheric magnetogram can be *** the other hand,in the near-limb event,coronal features can be clearly *** this paper,the first event studied is the M1.1 class flare from the active region NOAA 10649 located at S10 E14 and the second event is the M1.4 class flare from the active region 10713 located at S12 *** both cases,we have acquired excellent multi-wavelength data *** observations from multi-instrumental data clearly demonstrate that flares occur in the vicinity of *** are regions of strong magnetic field with mixed polarity.
