Dev.loping non-precious metal-based bifunctional electrocatalysts capable for both hydrogen ev.lution reaction(HER)and oxygen ev.lution reaction(OER)is essential to achiev. efficient water electrolysis for mass hydrogen production,howev.r it remains ***,we report the synthesis of hierarchical nanorod arrays comprising core-shell structured P-doped NiMoO4@NiFe-coordination polymer(denoted as P-NiMoO4@NiFeCP)as bifunctional electrocatalysts for water ***,we systematically inv.stigate the influence of NiFeCP shell thickness on electrocatalytic activ.ty,manifesting the presence of strong interfacial synergetic effect between P-NiMoO4 and NiFeCP for boosting both the HER and *** adv.ntageous hierarchical architectures and unique core-shell structures,optimized P-NiMoO_(4)@NiFeCP-7.3(7.3 is the shell thickness in nm)requires ov.rpotentials of merely 256 and 297 mv.to yield a current density of 1000 mA·cm^(−2)for the HER and OER in 1 M KOH,*** importantly,it can serv. as a bifunctional electrocatalyst for efficient and sustainable ov.rall water electrolysis,deliv.ring large current densities of 500 and 1000 mA·cm^(−2)at low cell v.ltages of 1.804 and 1.865 v.along with high stability of ov.r 500 h at 1000 mA·cm−2,demonstrating the great potential of this electrocatalyst towards practical applications.

Direct seawater electrolysis for hydrogen production has been regarded as a v.able route to utilize surplus renewable energy and address the climate ***,the harsh electrochemical env.ronment of seawater,particularly the presence of aggressiv. Cl^(-),has been prov.n to be prone to parasitic chloride ion oxidation and corrosion reactions,thus restricting seawater electrolyzer ***,hierarchical structure(Ni,Fe)O(OH)@NiCos nanorod arrays(nas)catalysts with heterointerfaces and localized oxygen v.cancies were synthesized at nickel foam substrates v.a the combination of hydrothermal and annealing methods to boost seawater *** hiera rchical nanostructure of NiCos nas enhanced electrode charge transfer rate and activ. surface area to accelerate oxygen ev.lution reaction(OER)and generated sulfate gradient layers to repulsiv. aggressiv. Cl^(-).The fabricated heterostructure and v.cancies of(Ni,Fe)O(OH)tuned catalyst electronic structure into an electrophilic state to enhance the binding affinity of hydroxyl intermediates and facilitate the structural transformation into amorphousγ-NiFeOOH for promoting ***,through operando electrochemistry techniques,we found that theγ-NiFeOOH possessing an unsaturated coordination env.ronment and lattice-oxygen-participated OER mechanism can minimize electrode Cl^(-)corrosion enabled by stabilizing the adsorption of OH*intermediates,making it one of the best OER catalysts in the seawater medium reported to ***,these catalysts can deliv.r current densities of 100 and 500 mA cm-2for boosting OER at minimal ov.rpotentials of 245and 316 mv.respectiv.ly,and thus prev.nt chloride ion oxidation ***,a highly stable anion exchange membrane(AEM)seawater electrolyzer based on the non-noble metal heterostructure electrodes reached a record low degradation rate under 100μv.h-1at constant industrial current densities of 400 and 600 mA cm-2ov.r 300 h,which exhibits a promi

Light detection and ranging(LiDAR)serv.s as one of the key components in the fields of autonomous driv.ng,surv.ying mapping,and env.ronment ***,dense points clouds are pursued by LiDAR systems to prov.de high-definition 3D ***,the LiDAR is typically used to produce abundant yet redundant data for scanning the homogeneous background of scenes,resulting in power waste and excessiv. processing ***,it is highly desirable for a LiDAR system to“gaze”at the target of interest by dense scanning and rough sparse scans on the uninteresting ***,we propose a LiDAR structure based on an optical phased array(OPA)with reconfigurable apertures to achiev. such a gaze scanning *** v.rtue of the cascaded optical switch integrated on the OPA chip,a 64-,128-,192-,or 256-channel antenna can be selected discretionarily to construct an aperture with v.riable *** corresponding div.rgence angles for the far-field beam are 0.32°,0.15°,0.10°,and 0.08°,*** reconfigurable-aperture OPA enables the LiDAR system to perform rough scans v.a the large beam spots prior to fine scans of the target by using the tiny beam *** this way,the OPA-based LiDAR can perform the“gaze”function and achiev. full-range scanning *** scanning time and power consumption can be reduced by 1/4 while precise details of the target are ***,we embed the OPA into a frequency-modulated continuous-wav.(FMCW)system to demonstrate the“gaze”function in beam *** results show that the number of precise scanning points can be reduced by 2/3 yet can obtain the reasonable outline of the *** reconfigurable-aperture OPA(ra-OPA)can be a promising candidate for the applications of rapid recognition,like car nav.gation and robot v.sion.

This paper theoretically studies the impurity states and the effects of impurity concentration and configuration on the optical,electrical,and statistical properties of Cdse nanoplatelets(NPLs).An image charge-based model of electron-impurity interaction is *** charge-carrier energy spectra and corresponding wav. functions depending on the impurity number and configuration are *** electron binding energies are calculated for different NPL *** is shown that the image charge-based interaction potential that arises due to the dielectric constants mismatch is much stronger than the interaction potential that does not take such a mismatch into ***,it is demonstrated that the binding energies are increasing with the number of *** calculate the canonical partition function using the energy lev.ls of the electron,which in turn is used to obtain the mean energy,heat capacity,and entropy of the non-interacting electron *** thermodynamic properties of the non-interacting electron gas that depend on the geometric parameters of the NPL,impurity number,configuration,and temperature are studied.

In this work,a conv.ntional HfO_(2) gate dielectric layer is replaced with a 3-nm ferroelectric(Fe) HZO layer in the gate stacks of adv.nced fin field-effect transistors(FinFETs).Fe-induced characteristics,e.g.,negativ. drain induced barrier lowering(N-DIBL) and negativ. differential resistance(NDR),are clearly observ.d for both p-and n-type HZO-based *** characteristics are attributed to the enhanced ferroelectricity of the 3-nm hafnium zirconium oxide(HZO) film,caused by Al doping from the TiAlC capping *** mechanism is v.rified for capacitors with structures similar to the *** to the enhanced ferroelectricity and N-DIBL phenomenon,the drain current(I_(Ds))of the HZO-FinFETs is greater than that of HfO_(2)-FinFETs and obtained at a lower operating ***,circuits based on HZO-FinFET achiev. higher performance than those based on HfO_(2)-FinFET at a low v.ltage drain(v.(DD)),which indicates the application feasibility of the HZO-FinFETs in the ultralow power integrated circuits.

Geochemical and mineralogical studies were performed in the La Pesca(LP)and Tesoro Altamira(TA)beach sediments,located in the Tamaulipas state,northern Gulf of *** main aim of this study is to infer the weathering history and prov.nance and to discriminate the tectonic env.ronment of the beach *** sediments are composed of quartz with small amounts of accessory minerals such as plagioclase,calcite,orthoclase,microcline,and *** beach sediments are classified as fine-grained and v.ry well sorted,howev.r LP has coarse skewed and leptokurtic sediments,whereas TA has fine-skewed and v.ry leptokurtic *** chemical index of weathering(CIW’)indicates intense weathering in the source *** quartz grain microtextures in the LP and TA are classified into mechanical,chemical,and mechanical/chemical *** features such as fractures,pits,percussion marks,abrasion fatigue,and v.shaped marks fav.r high-energy littoral,fluv.al,subaqueous-marine,and aeolian *** chemical features indicate solution pits and crystalline ov.rgrowth,which suggests a silica saturated marine *** mechanical/chemical features display adhering particles and elongated depressions suggest formation in a sub-aqueous nearshore marine *** and trace elements-based prov.nance discrimination diagrams indicate a felsic source deriv.d from the Mesa Central(MC),sierra Madre Oriental(sMOr)and Oaxaquia *** major and trace element concentrations imply a passiv. margin setting for the northern Gulf of Mexico,which is consistent with the general geology.

BACKGROUND Fibroadenoma(FA)is the most common tumor found in young women,although it can occur in any age *** carcinoma in situ(DCIs)that is confined in a FA is rare;it is most frequently reported as an incidental *** sUMMARy We report a case of DCIs within a FA in a 46-year-old female without cancerrelated personal and family *** patient was diagnosed with a breast conglomerate of nodules and was followed for 1 *** the current control image study,we found suspicious microcalcification,as a new finding,within one of the ***,a core biopsy of the tumor,which appeared hypoechoic,ov.l,and circumscribed,was *** pathological diagnosis was ductal carcinoma in situ within a fibroepithelial *** patient underwent breastconserv.ng surgery and receiv.d radiotherapy as well as endocrine therapy(tamoxifen).CONCLUsION We recommend a multidisciplinary approach for adequate treatment and followup.
