Linear active disturbance rejection control(LADRC)is a powerful control structure thanks to its performance in uncertainties,internal and external disturbances estimation and *** extended state observer(ESO)based controller is the key to the LADRC *** this article,the LADRC scheme combined with a fractional-order integral action(FOILADRC)is proposed to improve the robustness of the standard *** the robust closed-loop Bode’s ideal transfer function(BITF),an appropriate pole placement method is proposed to design the set-point tracking controller of the FOI-LADRC *** simulations and experimental results on a cart-pendulum system will illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed FOI-LADRC scheme for the disturbance rejection,the set-point tracking and the improved *** illustrate the LADRC control schemes and to verify the performance of the proposed FOI-LADRC,compared to the standard LADRC and IOI-LADRC structures,two tests will be carried ***,simulation tests on an academic example will be presented to show the effect of the different parameters of the control law on the performance of the closed-loop ***,these three control structures are implemented on an experimental test bench,the cart-pendulum system,to show their efficiency and to show the superiority of the proposed method compared to the two other structures.

In recent times,wind energy receives maximum attention and has become a significant green energy source *** wind turbine(WT)entered into several domains such as power electronics that are employed to assist the connection process of a wind energy system and *** turbulent characteristics of wind profile along with uncertainty in the design of WT make it highly challenging for prolific power *** pitch control angle is employed to effectively operate the WT at the above nominal wind ***,the pitch controller needs to be intelligent for the extraction of sustainable secure energy and keep WTs in a safe operating *** achieve this,proportional–integral–derivative(PID)controllers are widely used and the choice of optimal parameters in the PID controllers needs to be properly *** this motivation,this paper designs an oppositional brain storm optimization(OBSO)based fractional order PID(FOPID)design for sustainable and secure energy in WT *** proposed model aims to effectually extract the maximum power point(mPPT)in the low range of weather conditions and save the WT in high wind regions by the use of pitch *** OBSO algorithm is derived from the integration of oppositional based learning(OBL)concept with the traditional BSO algorithm in order to improve the convergence rate,which is then applied to effectively choose the parameters involved in the FOPID *** performance of the presented model is validated on the pitch control of a 5 mW WT and the results are examined under different *** simulation outcomes ensured the promising characteristics of the proposed model over the other methods.

A linear flexible joint system using fractional order linear active disturbance rejection control is studied in this *** this control scheme,the performance against disturbances,uncertainties,and attenuation is *** active disturbance rejection control(LADRC)is mainly based on an extended state observer(ESO)technology.A fractional integral(FOI)action is combined with the LADRC technique which proposes a hybrid control scheme like *** this FOI action improves the robustness of the standard *** set-point tracking of the proposed FO-LADRC scheme is designed by Bode’s ideal transfer function(BITF)based robust closed-loop concept,an appropriate pole placement *** effectiveness of the proposed FO-LADRC scheme is illustrated through experimental results on the linear flexible joint system(LFJS).The results show the enhancement of the robustness with disturbance ***,a comparative analysis is presented with the results obtained using the integer-order LADRC and FO-LADRC scheme.

This study presents the multifunctional characteristics of multi-walled carbon nanotube(mWCNT)/polypropylene random copolymer(PPR) composites enabled via fused filament fabrication(FFF) under monotonic and quasi-static cyclic compression. Utilizing in-house mWCNT-engineered PPR filament feedstocks, both bulk and cellular composites were realized. The morphological features of nanocomposites were examined via scanning electron microscopy, which reveals that mWCNTs are uniformly dispersed. The uniformly dispersed mWCNTs forms an electrically conductive network within the PPR matrix, and the resulting nanocomposite shows good electrical conductivity(~10^(-1)S/cm), improved mechanical performance(modulus increases by 125% and compressive strength increases by 25% for 8 wt% mWCNT loading) and pronounced piezoresistive response(gauge factor of 27.9-8.5 for bulk samples)under compression. The influence of strain rate on the piezoresistive response of bulk samples(4 wt% of mWCNT) under compression was also measured. Under repeated cyclic compression(2% constant strain amplitude), the nanocomposite exhibited stable piezoresistive performance up to 100 cycles. The piezoresistive response under repeated cyclic loading with increasing strain amplitude of was also *** gauge factor of BCC and FCC cellular composites(4 wt% of mWCNT) with a relative density of 30%was observed to be 46.4 and 30.2 respectively, under compression. The higher sensitivity of the BCC plate-lattice could be attributed to its higher degree of stretching-dominated deformation behavior than the FCC plate-lattice, which exhibits bending-dominated behavior. The 3D printed cellular PPR/mWCNT composites structures were found to show excellent piezoresistive self-sensing characteristics and open new avenues for in situ structural health monitoring in various applications.

Wheat species play important role in the price of products and wheat production *** are several mathematical models used for the estimation of the wheat crop but these models are implemented without considering the wheat species which is an important independent *** task of wheat species identification is challenging both for human experts as well as for computer vision-based *** the use of satellite remote sensing,it is possible to identify and monitor wheat species on a large scale at any stage of the crop life *** this work,nine popular wheat species are identified by using Landsat8 operational land imager(OLI)and thermal infrared sensor(TIRS)*** thousand samples of eachwheat crop species are acquired every fifteen days with a temporal resolution of ten multispectral bands(band two to band eleven).This study employs random forest(RF),artificial neural network,support vector machine,Naive Bayes,and logistic regression for nine types of wheat *** addition,deep neural networks are also *** results indicate that RF shows the best performance of 91%accuracy while DNN obtains a 90.2%*** suggest that remotely sensed data can be used in wheat type estimation and to improve the performance of the mathematical models.
