metal oxides have a higher chemical stability in comparison to metals,so they can be utilized as electrocatalysts if the activity could be *** the composition,the morphology of the nanostructures has a considerable impact on the electrocatalytic *** this work,zinc oxide nano branches-attached titanium dioxide nanofibers were investigated as an economic and stable catalyst for ethanol electrooxidation in the alkaline *** introduced material has been synthesized by electrospinning process followed by hydrothermal ***,electrospinning of colloidal solution consisting of titanium isopropoxide,poly（vinyl acetate） and zinc nanoparticles was performed to produce nanofibers embedding solid *** order to produce TiO2nanofibers containing ZnO nanoparticles,the obtained electrospun nanofiber mats were calcined in air at 600 °*** formed ZnO nanoparticles were exploited as seeds to outgrow ZnO branches around the TiO2nanofibers using the hydrothermal technique at sub-critical water conditions in the presence of zinc nitrate and bis-hexamethylene *** morphology of the final product,as well as the electrochemical measurements indicated that zinc nanoparticles content in the original electrospun nanofibers has a significant influence on the electrocatalytic activity as the best performance was observed with the nanofibers synthesized from electrospun solution containing 0.1 g Zn,and the corresponding current density was 37 mA/***,this study paves a way to titanium dioxide to be exploited to synthesize effective and stable metal oxide-based electrocatalysts.

The medical community has more concern on lung cancer *** experts’physical segmentation of lung cancers is time-consuming and needs to be *** research study’s objective is to diagnose lung tumors at an early stage to extend the life of humans using deep learning ***-Aided Diagnostic(CAD)system aids in the diagnosis and shortens the time necessary to detect the tumor *** application of Deep Neural Networks(DNN)has also been exhibited as an excellent and effective method in classification and segmentation *** research aims to separate lung cancers from images of magnetic resonance Imaging(mrI)with threshold *** Honey hook process categorizes lung cancer based on characteristics retrieved using several *** this principle,the work presents a solution for image compression utilizing a Deep Wave Auto-encoder(DWAe).The combination of the two approaches significantly reduces the overall size of the feature set required for any future classification process performed using *** proposed DWAe-DNN image classifier is applied to a lung imaging dataset with radial Basis Function(rBF)*** study reported promising results with an accuracy of 97.34%,whereas using the Decision Tree(DT)classifier has an accuracy of 94.24%.The proposed approach(DWAe-DNN)is found to classify the images with an accuracy of 98.67%,either as malignant or normal *** contrast to the accuracy requirements,the work also uses the benchmark standards like specificity,sensitivity,and precision to evaluate the efficiency of the *** is found from an investigation that the DT classifier provides the maximum performance in the DWAe-DNN depending on the network’s performance on image testing,as shown by the data acquired by the categorizers themselves.

Background: mesh expansion and fixation at retro-rectus plane through multiples stabs produces good results. But these stabs cause cosmetic disorders for the patients and doctors. So, we find some modification to do this procedure without these stabbing wounds in midline hernial repair. Patients and methods: This technique was used to fix the mesh at retro-rectus plane in 50 patients suffering from midline hernias, from January 2008 through January 2010 at Zagazig university Hospital, egypt. Laparotomy incision was done over the hernial sac or at old incision;the contents were then released and reduced into peritoneal cavity without much subcutaneous dissection. The suitable sheet of polypropylene mesh to cover the hernial defect and any weak area was prepared and fixed at retro-rectus plane percutaneously without stabbing wounds by using redirecting suture hook. The mean period of follow up was 26 months. results: There was no recurrence during the period of follow up. Five patients developed subcutaneous bluish discoloration at the site of some stitches, which disappear within two weeks with conservative treatment. Conclusion: Percutaneous mesh expansion and fixation at retro-rectus plane by using redirecting suture hook procedure has good results in recurrence rate and cosmetic appearance.

Background: Laparoscopic tension-free repair of inguinal hernia was presented in 1990s, promising less pain and short recovery period, but carrying the risk mesh bulging and migration. Objective: We have presented our technique in which central zone of mesh is fixed only after closure of hernial defect. Patients and methods: This study included 27 males patients (14 indirect inguinal hernias, 9 direct inguinal hernias, 4 both direct and indirect inguinal hernias on the same side). These cases are undergoing tension-free mesh repair after closure of hernial defect, and the mesh is fixed only at its central zone using Gulbran 2, between April 2011 and march 2013. The follow-up period ranged from 6 to 30 months. The intra and postoperative complications were recorded. results: mean hospital stay was 1 day. The age of this group of patients ranged from 23 to 63 years (mean, 47 years). The operative time ranged from 30 to 100 minutes (mean, 45 minutes). The intraoperative complications were in form of mild bleeding in 7 patients (25.9%) during hernial sac dissection. Postoperative complications were mild inguinal pain in 4 patients (14.8%) for three weeks. mild hydrocele in 3 patients (11%) was recorded. No recurrence or bulging at hernia site was noticed during the period of follow-up. Conclusion: Laparoscopic inguinal hernia repair with central mesh fixation after closure of hernial defect is effective, easy and free of complications.

Antigen containing, allogeneic cells secreting the genetically modified protein and peptide-chaperone gp96-Ig cross, prime and expand antigen specific CD8 T cells with therapeutic antitumor activity in mice. In a first in man phase I study, we now report the results of therapeutic vaccination of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with an established, allogeneic non-small cell lung adenocarcinoma cell line secreting gp96-Ig. Advanced NSCLC-patients stage IIIB or IV of any histological subtype were enrolled and treated with up to 36 vaccinations over the course of 18 weeks. Primary endpoint was safety, secondary endpoints tumor response and overall survival. measurement of tumor antigen specific CD8 CTL responses is precluded by the lack of known NSCLC associated antigens. Therefore, we measured patient CD8 T cell-IFN-γ responses to allo-antigens of the vaccine cells as surrogate for tumor antigen specific CD8 CTL. In 7 of 18 treated patients tumor growth was stabilized, however none of the 18 patients had an objective tumor response by reCIST criteria. Of 15 patients evaluable for immune response, 11 responded to vaccination with more than twofold increase in CD8-IFN-γ frequency above baseline. These patients had a median survival time of 16.5 months. Four patients who had no CD8 response above base line had survival times from 2.1 to 6.7 months. Our data are consistent with the concept that generation of CD8 CTL by therapeutic vaccination may delay tumor growth and progression and mediate prolonged survival even in the absence of objective tumor responses. Further studies will be required to test this concept and promising result.

利用COSmOS/m2.6软件,考虑材料非线性,模拟并分析双向组合楼板的极限承载性能。通过与文献中双向组合楼板足尺试验的对比,验证所建有限元模型的正确性。研究楼板宽高比、长细比等参数的影响;考虑表面平整及剪力钉的影响;研究固定于板底翼板,垂直于波纹方向冷弯钢板厚度及其分布的影响;研究各初始参数对极限承载力,强、弱轴方向应力分布及板挠度的影响。在正常使用极限状态下,进行双向组合楼板的性能研究。与单向组合楼板比较,双向组合楼板承载力及弱轴方向的应力有较大提高。由于使用钢板和剪力钉,组合楼板挠度增大。

A new search for two-neutrino double-beta(2νββ)decay of^(136)Xe to the 0+1 excited state of 136Ba is performed with the full eXO-200 dataset.A deep learning-based convolutional neural network is used to discriminate signal from background *** detection efficiency is increased relative to previous searches by eXO-200 by more than a factor of *** the addition of the Phase II dataset taken with an upgraded detector,the median 90%confidence level half-life sensitivity of 2νββdecay to the 0+1 state of 136Ba is 2.9×10^(24)yr using a total^(136)Xe exposure of 234.1 kg *** statistically significant evidence for 2νββdecay to the 0^(+)_(1)state is observed,leading to a lower limit of T2ν1/2(0^(+)→0^(+)_(1))>1.4×10^(24)yr at 90%confidence level,improved by 70%relative to the current world's best constraint.
