Th.s invited review is based upon a recent oral paper I presented at th. Virtual Reality Symposiumof th. 34th.International Eth.logical Conference （2015, Cairns, Australia）, and as such.it describesstudies conducted mainly in my own laboratory. It reviews h.w we utilized visual stimuli for induc-ing beh.vioral responses in th. zebrafish.with.a focus on sh.aling, group forming beh.vior. Th.zebrafish.is gaining increasing popularity in neuroscience. With.th.s interest, its beh.vior is alsomore frequently studied. One of th. many advantages of th. zebrafish.over traditional laboratoryrodents is th.t th.s species is diurnal, and it relies h.avily upon its visual system. Th.s, similarly toour own species, zebrafish.respond to visual stimuli in a robust and easily quantifiable manner. Forth. past decade, we h.ve been exploring h.w to use such.visual stimuli, and h.ve developed nu-merous paradigms with.wh.ch.we can induce and quantify a variety of beh.vioral responses,including sh.aling. Th.s review summarizes some of th.se studies, and discusses questions includ-ing wh.th.r one sh.uld use live fish.as stimulus, wh.th.r and h.w one could present animated（moving images） of fish. and h.w one could optimize a range of stimulus presentation parametersto elicit th. most robust responses in zebrafish. Alth.ugh.th. zebrafish.is a relative newcomer ineth.logy and beh.vioral neuroscience, and alth.ugh.many of our findings only represent th. firststeps in th.s research. our results suggest th.t th. beh.vioral analysis of th. zebrafish.will h.ve animportant place in biomedical research.

OBJECTIVE: To assess th. impact of classic massage on th. ch.nges in th. values of blood pressure in women with.previously diagnosed ***: Th. study involved a group of ten women aged 60-68, wh. h.d previously been diagnosed with.h.pertension. Ten sessions of classic massage of th. lower limbs were performed on th. subjects. Th. massage sessions were conducted every day over ten consecutive days. Th.ough.ut th. treatment, th. subjects' blood pressure was measured using a manometer with.a steth.scope TRO-CARDIO KIT 2 MONO. Th.ir blood pressure was taken 1 min before th. massage, as well as 1 min and5 min after each.session. Th. study took place between March.and June 2013 in Szpital Specjalistyczny im. J?drzeja ?niadeckiego(J?drzej ?niadecki Specialist h.spital) in Nowy S?cz, at th. Department of Internal ***: For ten consecutive days, th. blood pressure values in th. examined women were decreasing, with.th. exception of th. diastolic blood pressure measured 5 min after th. ***: Th. drops in blood pressure by several percent, noted in th. majority of th. female subjects over th. time of th. study. Classic massage migh. provide a safe supportive measure in ph.rmacologic treatment of h.pertension.

Mountain lakes represent essential stages for aquatic species on th.ir way colonizing h.bitats of more elevated regions. Despite extensive biological and ch.mical study, only little h.s been reported about th. species number and density of fresh.ater molluscs in th.se waters. Th. article presented h.re elucidates th. dispersal of aquatic gastropods and bivalves in 12 mountain lakes th.t are commonly situated in th. Eastern Alps, Austria. Molluscs were recorded at 120 sample points, wh.re a total of 13 species （8 gastropods and 5 bivalves） could be determined. Species distribution data as well as results from contemporarily conducted ph.sico-ch.mical factor recording were subject to weigh.ed average analysis. In addition, a global marginality coefficient indicating th. particularity of a h.bitat inh.bited by a focal species as well as a global tolerance coefficient expressing th. width.of a nich. occupied by th.s species were computed. Species-environment relationsh.ps exh.bited th.t species number and specific density decrease with.increasing geograph.c altitude, declining water temperature, and decreasing amount of submerged vegetation. Wh.lst waters of th. montane altitude level are partly ch.rcterized by h.gh.number of mollusc species （〉 10）, lakes of th. subalpine altitude level commonly bear 1 or 2 species with.〈〈1 ind./mz. As proposed by th. results of statistics, 9 of th. 13 mollusc species are ch.racterized by a pronounced beh.viour as specialists with.respect to most environmental factors. Th. four remaining species, Pisidium casertanum, Galba truncatula, Radix labiata, and Radix balth.ca, act as generalists wh.ch.increases th.ir pioneering role in th. long-term occupation of th. Central-alpine region.

Asian agriculture is responsible for two th.rds of global agricultural GDP. Th.re h.ve been numerous studies exploring th. impact of climate ch.nge on crops in specific locations in Asia but no study h.s yet analyzed crops across th. entire continent. Th.s study relies on a Ricardian study of Ch.na th.t estimated climate coefficients for Ch.nese crops. Th.se coefficients are th.n used to interpolate potential climate damages across th. continent. With.carbon fertilization, th. model predicts small aggregate effects with.a 1.5℃ warming but damages of about USS84 billion with.3℃ warming. India is predicted to be especially vulnerable.

Th. forecasting of th. failure time of a slope remains a worldwide problem because of many different possibilities of geological conditions in combination with.many varying external factors such.as climate and vegetation,and not well-defined or unknown time effects in deformation and failure *** aim of th.s paper is to suggest a new meth.d to carry out th. ph.se division and to explore tangential angular features of th. displacement-time curve of creep slopes as well as th. acceleration ch.racteristics in th. process of slope deformation and th. pre-warning criteria for critical *** imminent failure is pro-ceeded with.usually th.ee basic deformation ph.ses,namely primary creep("decelerated") ,secondary creep("steadystate") and tertiary creep("accelerated") .Mostly,only during th. accelerated ph.se th. imminence of a possible slope failure is *** analysis of displacement data from a series of landslides allowed to recognize different evolutionary patterns of displacement.A quantitative approach.was proposed to describe th. tangential angle of th. displacement-time curve and a new criterion based on th. angle was put forward to divide th. accelerated ph.se into th.ee sub-ph.ses:initial acceleration,medium acceleration,and th. critical failure.A pre-warning criterion for critical failure is also proposed consequently. Ch.nges of acceleration sh.wed completely different ch.racteristics from th.se of cumulative displacement and displacement in th. process of slope *** values of acceleration usually oscillate around 0 prior to th. critical failure ph.se,wh.reas th. acceleration increases abruptly wh.n th. deformation moves into th. critical failure *** allows,th.refore,for a meth.d to forecast th. time of th. *** it is possible to define different alert acceleration th.esh.ld values to be used for emergency management.
