A method of removing the airway from pulmonary segmentation image was proposed. This method firstly segments the image into several separate regions based on the optimum threshold and morphological operator, and then each region is labeled and noted with its mean grayscale. Therefore, most of the non-lung regions can be removed according to the tissue’s Hounsfield units (HU) and the imaging modality. Finally, the airway region is recognized and deleted automatically through using the priori information of its HU and size. This proposed method is tested using several clinical images, yielding satisfying results.

Relationship between CT grouping and complications of liver cirrhosis

AIM:To investigate the pharmacokinetics and safety of gemifloxacin in healthy Chinese subjects and provide some theoretic bases for its reasonable application in clinic. METHODS:(1)12 healthy Chinese male subjects were enrolled in this study with an open label,3-period cross- over oral single dosing pharmacokinetic *** sub- jects sequentially took 3 doses of gemifloxacin(160,320 and 480 mg)according to the randomization schedule. (2)20 subjects were chosen to participate in a random- ized,double blind,multiple dosing pharmacokinetic *** subjects were orally given 320 mg gemifloxacin or matching placebo once daily for 7 consecutive days. clinical observation and laboratory test were performed during the study for the assessment of adverse *** concentrations of gemifloxacin in serum and urine were de- termined by high performance liquid chromatogram (HPLC).The pharmacokinefic parameters were analysed by 3P97 analysis software. BACKGROUND: Imaging examination is important for hepatic cirrhosis. But the relationship between magnetic resonance (MR), computed tomography (CT) or ultrasound findings and pathological groups, degree, or reserve function of the cirrhotic liver is not clear. In this study, we investigated the relationship between the CT groupings of liver cirrhosis and its complications and clinical conditions. METHODS: The CT findings in 357 patients with liver cirrhosis were grouped. The complications were analyzed, included splenomegaly, varicose collateral veins, ascites, pleurorrhea, primary liver carcinoma, gallbladder stone, etc. Blood routine (BRt), and serum usea nitrogen (SUN), creatinine and uric acid were measured and hypersplenia and liver-kidney syndrome were estimated. RESULTS: Three hundred and fifty-seven patients with cirrhosis were divided into homogeneous group (87 patients, 24.4%), segmental group (41, 11.5%), and nodal group (229, 64.2%). The grade of spleen enlargement in the segmental and the nodal groups was significantly greater than that in the homogeneous group (P <0. 01 and P<0.001). The patients with varices were shown in a descending order in the segmental group (70.7%), the nodal group (17.0%) and the homogeneous group (2.3%), respectively. Significant difference was observed among the 3 groups ( P < 0.001). Ascites was seen in 182 patients (79.5%) of the nodal group, in 11 patients (26.8%) of the segmental group and in 9 patients ( 10.3%) of the homogeneous group (P<0.001). Sixty-eight patients (29.7%) in the nodal group had primary liver carcinoma and 1 (2.4%) in the segmental group and 5 (5.8%) in the homogeneous group (P<0.001). The number of patients with decreased concentration of hematoglobin in the nodal group was more than that in the homogeneous group ( P < 0. 001). One hundred and eleven users of IUD were recruited and classified into two groups. 40 cases were in the tailed group, and 71 cases in the tailless group. The samples ol each case were obtained from vaginal vault, the internal os of the cervix and uterine cavity. The cultures for detection of aerobic and anaerobic micro-morganisms were *** results indicated that 11 cases were of positive test in the internal os samples. Among them 8 cases were in the tailed group and 3 cases in the tailless group. There was a very signilicant difference (P<0.01). 7 cases were found to be positive cultivation in the uterine cavity group among which 5 were in the tailed group and 2 in the tailless group. There was a signilicant difference (P<0.05).It is noteworthy that the increased incidence of bacteria ascending from the internal os to the uterine cavity was lound in the tailed group than that in the tailless group. However, severe pelvic inflammatory diseases in general have not been observed.

目的基于上海市减重代谢手术质量控制数据库,分析2012—2023年上海市减重代谢手术的趋势和进展。方法回顾性分析2012—2023年上海市开展减重代谢外科手术相关数据,按人口学特征、手术类型、围手术期变量等分别分析,反映既往12年上海市减重代谢手术的发展趋势。结果2012—2023年上海市共开展9282例减重代谢手术,12年间年手术例数从2012年的100例增至2023年的1430例。12年间本数据库总体人口学特征为女性∶男性病人比例为2.16∶1;基线平均BMI为38.7±7.3;术前合并2型糖尿病比例32.4%;术后严重并发症占比0.4%,30 d内再手术率0.2%。病人主要来源于上海本地,占比66.5%。自2014年起,主要开展术式为胃袖状切除术(SG);12年间SG总占比为87.9%(8162例),Roux-en-Y胃旁路术(RYGB)占比7.7%(717例),各类探索性手术占比3.7%(348例)。2019—2023年有施行修正手术的记录,共55例,以SG术后病人为主,首选修正方案为修正为胃袖状切除联合单吻合口十二指肠-回肠旁路术(r-SADI-S),占比32.7%;其次为修正为单吻合口胃旁路术(r-OAGB),占比21.8%;第三位r-RYGB,占比18.2%。术后严重并发症共26例,占比0.4%。结论12年来,上海市减重代谢手术手术量稳步增加。自2014年以来,SG已成为最主要的手术术式,RYGB手术量仍居第二位。自2021年起,SADI-S与OAGB是上海市主要开展的修正手术方案。在良好的质量控制管理下,围手术期并发症发生率较低。
