t.e superplast.c behavior and associat.d deformat.on mechanisms of a fine-grained Mg-10.1 Li-0.8Al-0.6Zn alloy(LAZ1011)wit. a grain size of 3.2μm,primarily composed of t.e BCCβphase and a small amount.of t.e HCPαphase,were examined in a t.mperat.re range of 473 K t. 623 *** microst.uct.ral refinement.of t.is alloy was achieved by employing high-rat.o different.al speed *** best.superplast.cit. was achieved at.523 K and at.st.ain rat.s of 10^(-4)-5×10^(-4)s^(-1),where t.nsile elongat.ons of 550±600%were *** t.e heat.ng and holding st.ge of t.e t.nsile samples prior t. t.nsile loading,a significant.increase in grain size was observed at.t.mperat.res above 573 ***,it.was import.nt.t. consider t.is effect.when analyzing and underst.nding t.e superplast.c deformat.on behavior and *** t.e invest.gat.d st.ain rat. range,t.e superplast.c flow at.low st.ain rat.s was governed by lat.ice diffusion-cont.olled grain boundary sliding,while at.high st.ain rat.s,lat.ice diffusion-cont.olled dislocat.on climb creep was t.e rat.-cont.olling deformat.on *** was concluded t.at.solut. drag creep is unlikely t. *** t.e lat. st.ges of deformat.on at.523 K,it.was observed t.at.grain boundary sliding led t. t.e agglomerat.on of t.eαphase,result.ng in significant.st.ain *** mechanism maps were const.uct.d forβ-Mg-Li alloys in t.e form of 2D and 3D format. as a funct.on of st.ain rat.,st.ess,t.mperat.re,and grain size,using t.e const.t.t.ve equat.ons for various deformat.on mechanisms derived based on t.e dat. of t.e current.t.st..

Bat. are t.e nat.ral reservoir host. for SARS-relat.d coronavirus (SARSr-CoV) and ot.er highly pat.ogenic microorganisms. t.erefore, it.is conceivable t.at.an individual bat.may harbor mult.ple microbes. However, t.ere is limit.d knowledge on t.e overall co-circulat.on of microorganisms in bat.. Here, we conduct.d a 16-year monit.ring of bat.viruses in sout. and cent.al China and ident.fied 238 SARSr-CoV posit.ve samples across nine bat.species from t.n provinces or administ.at.ve dist.ict.. Among t.ese, 76 individual samples were select.d for furt.er met.genomics analysis. We found a complex microenvironment.charact.rized by t.e general co-circulat.on of microbes from t.o different.sources: mammal-associat.d viruses or environment.associat.d microbes. t.e lat.r includes commensal bact.ria, ent.robact.ria-relat.d phages, and insect.or fungal viruses of food origin. Result. showed t.at.25% (19/76) of t.e samples cont.ined at.least.one anot.er mammal-associat.d virus, not.bly alphacoronaviruses (13/76) such as AlphaCoV/YN2012, HKU2-relat.d CoV and AlphaCoV/Rf-HuB2013, along wit. viruses from ot.er families. Not.bly, we observed t.ree viruses co-circulat.ng wit.in a single bat. comprising t.o coronavirus species and one picornavirus. Our analysis also revealed t.e pot.nt.al presence of pat.ogenic bact.ria or fungi in bat.. Furt.ermore, we obt.ined 25 viral genomes from t.e 76 bat.SARSr-CoV posit.ve samples, some of which formed new evolut.onary lineages. Collect.vely, our st.dy reveals t.e complex microenvironment.of bat.microbiome, facilit.t.ng deeper invest.gat.ons int. t.eir pat.ogenic pot.nt.al and t.e likelihood of cross-species t.ansmission. © 2024 t.e Aut.ors

t.e present.st.dy focused on evaluat.ng t.e agronomic performance, st.bilit., and ant.racnose resist.nce of common bean lines derived t.rough Marker-Assist.d Backcrossing in Uganda. Eight.marker-assist.d select.on (MAS) backcross-derived bush bean lines wit. red seed t.pes, alongside t.o checks, were evaluat.d in a randomized complet. block design replicat.d t.o t.mes in five locat.ons for t.ree consecut.ve crop-growing seasons in 2021 and 2022. t.e st.dy aimed t. ident.fy lines wit. bot. high st.ble yields and enhanced resist.nce t. ant.racnose disease for pot.nt.al release and ut.lizat.on in fut.re bean variet.l development.in Uganda. Agronomic t.ait., including days t. 50% flowering, days t. 90% physiological mat.rit., seed yield, seed yield component., and ant.racnose disease react.on under nat.ral infest.t.on were assessed. t.e response t. ant.racnose disease was furt.er assessed using six isolat.s of Collet.t.ichum lindemut.ianum represent.ng six different.races. Result. indicat.d t.at.t.e agronomic performances of t.e MAS backcross-derived bush bean lines were st.t.st.cally comparable t. t.e recurrent.parent.NABE14. Specifically, six lines exhibit.d st.t.st.cally equal t. or higher performance t.an NABE14 in t.rms of seed yield, t.t.l number of seeds and number of pods per plant. t.e combined analysis of variance for seed yield showed significant.(p Co-42 and Co-5 ant.racnose resist.nce genes in t.e derived line. In conclusion, UGKt.B157-4, ident.fied as t.e best.performing and st.ble genot.pe, demonst.at.s promise for release and use in fut.re bean variet.l development.in Uganda, offering a combinat.on of high yields and enhanced ant.racnose disease resist.nce. t.e st.dy provides valuable insight. int. t.e pot.nt.al of Marker-Assist.d Backcrossing in improving common bean variet.es in t.e region.
