BACKGROUND Minimally invasive pancreatic surgery via the multi-port approach has become a primary surgical method for distal pancreatectomy(DP)due to its advantages of lower wound pain and superior cosmetic *** studies have applied reduced-port techniques for DP in an attempt to enhance cosmetic outcomes due to the minimally invasive *** recent review studies have compared multi-port laparoscopic DP(LDP)and multi-port robotic DP(RDP);most of these studies concluded multi-port RDP is more beneficial than multi-port LDP for spleen ***,there have been no comprehensive reviews of the value of reduced-port LDP and reduced-port *** To search for and review the studies on spleen preservation and the clinical outcomes of minimally invasive DP that compared reduced-port DP surgery with multi-port DP *** The PubMed medical database was searched for articles published between 2013 and *** search terms were implemented using the following Boolean search algorithm:(“distal pancreatectomy”OR“left pancreatectomy”OR“peripheral pancreatic resection”)AND(“reduced-port”OR“single-site”OR“single-port”OR“dual-incision”OR“single-incision”)AND(“spleen-preserving”OR“spleen preservation”OR“splenic preservation”).A literature review was conducted to identify studies that compared the perioperative outcomes of reduced-port LDP and reduced-port *** Fifteen articles published in the period from 2013 to 2022 were retrieved using three groups of search *** studies were added after manually searching the related ***,10 papers were selected after removing case reports(n=3),non-English language papers(n=1),technique papers(n=1),reviews(n=1),and animal studies(n=1).The common items were defined as items reported in more than five papers,and data on these common items were extracted from all *** ten studies included a total of 337 patients(females/males:231/106)who underwent *** total,166 patients(females/male

直线共轭内啮合齿轮泵是液压系统中的关键组件,因其高效的压力输送特性而广泛应用于工程领域。本文采用计算流体动力学模拟方法对直线共轭内啮合齿轮泵进行研究,分析轴向间隙和径向间隙对齿轮泵泄漏和流场的影响。研究结果表明:配合间隙的变化对齿轮泵的流场特性产生广泛影响,轴向间隙是引发泄漏的主要因素,约占总泄漏量的80%;当轴向间隙由0.03 mm增加到0.07 mm后,输出流量减少20.81%,平均压力下降33.15%,空化产生的气体体积分数增加0.021;而设置相同径向间隙后,输出流量仅下降0.69%,平均压力下降2.76%,空化产生的气体体积分数增加0.005。此外,导致泵内流速变化的主要配合间隙是轴向间隙,适当减小轴向间隙可提升泵内的流体速度,从而提升泵的整体效率。

BACKGROUND According to the World Health Organization analgesic ladder,cancer-related pain generally begins with pharmacotherapy in a stepwise ***,some patients continue to experience poorly controlled pain despite medications,particularly when considering adverse effects and self-care *** cervical cordotomy is an alternative interventional procedure for unremitting unilateral intractable cancer-related *** SUMMARY The patient was diagnosed with lung cancer with destruction of the brachial plexus and *** 2 mo,the patient experienced progressive severe weakness and pain in the right upper ***,the pain intensity reached an extreme level,particularly when lying supine,even under heavy *** heightened pain response posed a significant challenge;as a result,the patient was unable to undergo further evaluation through magnetic resonance ***,he underwent percutaneous cervical cordotomy for symptom relief,resulting in complete resolution of right arm *** a 3-mo follow-up,the pain did not recur,and only a flurbiprofen local patch was required for mild scapular *** Cordotomy,under careful patient selection,appears to enhance the quality of life of patients with unilateral cancerrelated pain.

Characterization of solid particles sampled from condensates in boiling water reactor

The growth, activation and deposition of corrosion products are the primary sources of radiation buildup on the surface of out-of-core piping in nuclear power plants. The buildup of radiation can have negative effects on the performance of the facility and cause harm to staff during maintenance outages for refueling. This paper reports on the crystalline and amorphous structures of corrosion products sampled in the boiling water reactors in nuclear power plants of Kuo-sheng and identified using an acid dissolving technique. X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microprobe and inductively coupled plasmaatomic emission spectroscopy were used to analyze the samples. The results indicate that the quantity of amorphous iron oxide at inlet of the condensate demineralizer in Unit 2 is higher than that in Unit 1. The proportion of crystalline to amorphous corrosion products can affect the efficiency of removal. Thus, these results can be used to explain the difference in removal efficiency of condensate demineralizers in different units. Moreover, the iron oxide structures with various properties were observed in different operational periods. It is probable that the higher proportion of amorphous structures with a smaller particle size would reduce efficiency in the removal of condensate demineralization in Unit 2.
