Background Rumen bacterial groups can affect growth performance,such as average daily gain(AdG),feed intake,and *** study aimed to investigate the inter-relationship of rumen bacterial composition,rumen fermentation indicators,serum indicators,and growth performance of Holstein heifer calves with different *** calves were chosen from a trail with 60 calves and divided into higher AdG(HAdG,high pre-and post-weaning AdG,n=6)and lower AdG(LAdG,low pre-and post-weaning AdG,n=6)groups to investigate differences in bacterial composition and functions and host *** during the preweaning period,the relative abundances of propionate producers,including g_norank_f_Butyricicoccaceae,g_Pyramidobacter,and g_norank_f_norank_o_Clostridia_vadin BB60_group,were higher in HAdG calves(LdA>2,Pd in increased levels of propionate,a gluconeogenic precursor,in preweaning HAdG calves(adjusted Pd serum glucose concentrations(adjusted Pdances of rumen bacteria in post-weaning HAdG calves did not exert this ***,no significant differences were observed in rumen fermentation parameters and serum indices between the two *** The findings of this study revealed that the preweaning period is the window of opportunity for rumen bacteria to regulate the AdG of calves.

The fingerprinting-based approach using the wireless local area network(WLAN)is widely used for indoor ***,the construction of the fingerprint database is quite *** when the position of the access point(AP)or wall changes,updating the fingerprint database in real-time is *** appropriate indoor localization approach,which has a low implementation cost,excellent real-time performance,and high localization accuracy and fully considers complex indoor environment factors,is preferred in location-based services(LBSs)*** this paper,we proposed a fine-grained grid computing(FGGC)model to achieve decimeter-level localization *** points(RPs)are generated in the grid by the FGGC ***,the received signal strength(RSS)values at each RP are calculated with the attenuation factors,such as the frequency band,three-dimensional propagation distance,and walls in complex *** a result,the fingerprint database can be established automatically without manual measurement,and the efficiency and cost that the FGGC model takes for the fingerprint database are superior to previous *** proposed indoor localization approach,which estimates the position step by step from the approximate grid location to the fine-grained location,can achieve higher real-time performance and localization accuracy *** mean error of the proposed model is 0.36 m,far lower than that of previous ***,the proposed model is feasible to improve the efficiency and accuracy of Wi-Fi indoor *** also shows high-accuracy performance with a fast running speed even under a large-size *** results indicate that the proposed method can also be suitable for precise marketing,indoor navigation,and emergency rescue.

due to the unique physical and chemical properties,rare earth elements(REEs)play a significant role in the high-tech *** the past few decades,the rare earth reserve in China has been gradually decreasing and more pressure has been exerted on the global rare earth supply for the increasing demand of REEs,which indicates that it is essential to recycle secondary resources to meet the rare earth *** for rare earth molten salt electrolytic slag(REMES),although its high rare earth content has potential huge economic value,its high fluorine content of approximately 10 wt%-20 wt%can pollute the *** methods are used to treat *** metallurgical and pyro-hydrometallurgical methods have gotten a big success for solving most of the hydrometallurgical problems,while some problems,like long route and waste water,need to be *** distillation is a new and promising method with a short process due to its harmlessness and high efficiency,but has shortcomings such as high energy consumption and material *** review presents these above three treatment methods,and the challenges and chances of using the recovery technique of REMES in an environmentally friendly way.

Photodynamic therapy(PdT),with high spatiotemporal selectivity,minimal side effects and less drug resistance,has emerged as a promising approach for the treatment of ***,inadequate penetration depth and poor efficacy seriously restrict its practical *** address these challenges,we developed a combined therapy platform(RENP@C/d-FA)based on rare-earth-doped nanoparticles(RENPs)with a structure of NaErF_(4):Tm(0.5%)@NaYF_(4),on which photosensitizer Ce6(chlorin e6)and chemo-therapeutic drug(dOX)(doxorubicin)were loaded by encapsulating with an amphiphilic polymer distearoyl phosphatidylethanolamine-polyethylene glycol-folic acid(dSPE-PEG-FA).RENPs with NaErF_(4) as the matrix possess multiple excitation/emission peaks,enabling activation of PdT under near-infrared-Ⅱb(NIR-Ⅱb,1500-1700 nm)excitation and luminescence imaging in NIR-Ⅱb region by absorbing 808 nm near-infrared ***,dOX can be selectively released in the acidic microenvironment of *** from the tumor targeting capability of folic acid,this platform can successfully ablate tumor cells and inhibit tumor growth by combining PdT and *** innovative approach holds great promise as a powerful tool for cancer treatment,showing the potential to revolutionize PdT.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a highly familial and heritable endocrine disorder. Over half of the daughters born to women with PCOS may eventually develop their own PCOS-related symptoms. Progress in the treatment of PCOS is currently hindered by the complexity of its clinical manifestations and incomplete knowledge of its etiopathogenesis. Various animal models, including experimentally induced, naturally occurring, and spontaneously arising ones, have been established to emulate a wide range of phenotypical and pathological traits of human PCOS. These studies have led to a paradigm shift in understanding the genetic, developmental, and evolutionary origins of this disorder. Furthermore, emerging evidence suggests that animal models are useful in evaluating state-of-the-art drugs and treatments for PCOS. This review aims to provide a comprehensive summary of recent studies of PCOS in animal models, highlighting the power of these disease models in understanding the biology of PCOS and aiding high-throughput approaches.

Voidage(porosity or void fraction)in packed particles(or pebbles)is of fundamental importance in calculating the pressure drop,obtaining the drag,predicting the bed permeability,estimating the neutron streaming,*** the case when particles are deformed,a method of voidage correction during the packing state is proposed using a discrete Element Method(dEM)simulation of 3d pebble flow inside a bed of cycloidal base.A function to evaluate the remaining volume of a pebble intercepted by horizontal and vertical planes is proposed for voidage *** that,the process of solving voidage distribution is provided in *** this method,the voidage inside the cycloidal-base pebble bed is obtained to refer to reported similar data for *** method can be potentially used for dynamical voidage calculation in CFd-dEM simulation which can get suitable voidage distribution after the correction.

It remains a big challenge to synthesize two-dimensional(2d)GaN material for applications in power *** synthetic methods require complex equipment and processes and time ***,we reported a two-step route to prepare polycrystalline 2d GaN *** amorphous ultrathin Ga_(2)O_(3)film was first exfoliated from the surface of liquid *** a vapor phase reaction,2d Ga_(2)O_(3)film was then converted into 2d GaN film while maintaining the 2d *** and high-resolution transmission electron microscope(HRTEM)analysis implies the successful synthesis of wurtzite-type GaN ultrathin *** simple strategy proposed in this work will provide more opportunities for applications of GaN ultrathin film in many devices.
