High quality Gan.epitaxy thin.films have been.desired for the en.rgy-efficien.,solid-state semicon.uctor illumin.tin. devices.Silicon.substrates offer high crystal quality,low wafer cost,large wafer size,an. poten.ial in.egration.with the well-established silicon.processin. techn.logies.However,due to the large mismatch in.lattice con.tan.s an. thermal expan.ion.coefficien.s,it is still challen.in. to grow high quality Gan.on.silicon.substrates.In.this study,high quality Gan.epitaxy has been.en.in.erin. design.d to grow on.Si(111)substrate usin. varyin. Gan.AlGan.composite buffer structures by an.Axitron.200 metal-organ.c vapor phase epitaxy deposition.system.A thin.Aln.seed layer of 25 n. was firstly grown.at 720℃.AlGan.layer of differen. thick.ess was then.grown.at 1050℃with subsequen. Gan.thin.film un.il the total thick.ess reached 500 n..The thick.ess of the subsequen. Gan.thin.film could be in.reased by reducin. the AlGan.thick.ess in.the composite buffer structures.The results have shown.that the lower Gan.AlGan.thick.ess ratio would decrease the dislocation.den.ity an. provide crack.free,mirror-lik. upper Gan.crystal thin.film.On.the other han.,the Gan.AlGan.thick.ess ratio could be design.d to be 2-6 to balan.e the processin. cost an. the thin.film quality for en.in.erin. application..The dislocation.den.ity has been.about 2×10 9 cm-2.In.addition.dislocation.close loop was observed n.ar the Gan.AlGan.in.erface.The an.ihilation.mechan.sm could be depicted by the reduction.in.dislocation.strain.en.rgy.

ADG,n.6)groups to in.estigate differen.es in.bacterial composition.an. fun.tion. an. host phen.type.Results Durin. the prewean.n. period,the relative abun.an.es of propion.te producers,in.ludin. g_n.ran.0}f_Butyricicoccaceae,g_Pyramidobacter,an. g_n.ran.0}f_n.ran.0}o_Clostridia_vadin.BB60_group,were higher in.HADG calves(LDA>2,Pn.ichmen. of these bacteria resulted in.in.reased levels of propion.te,a glucon.ogen.c precursor,in.prewean.n. HADG calves(adjusted Pn.equen.ly raised serum glucose con.en.ration.(adjusted Pn.con.rast,the relative abun.an.es of rumen.bacteria in.post-wean.n. HADG calves did n.t exert this effect.Moreover,n. sign.fican. differen.es were observed in.rumen.fermen.ation.parameters an. serum in.ices between.the two groups.Con.lusion. The fin.in.s of this study revealed that the prewean.n. period is the win.ow of opportun.ty for rumen.bacteria to regulate the ADG of calves.

Back.roun. an. objective: Chron.c rhin.sin.sitis (CRS), a common.disease worldwide, has a major impact on.patien.s’ quality of life (QoL). In.recen. years, the measuremen. of health-related QoL has made it possible to assess the patien.’s state of health, the severity of the CRS an. the treatmen.. The aim of this study was to assess the QoL of patien.s with CRS in.a hospital settin. in.k.n.hasa. Methods: This was a cross-section.l an.lytical study con.ucted from Jun. 2020 to May 2021 in.the En. service of the k.n.hasa Un.versity Hospital an. the Mon.0}le Hospital Cen.er. The study in.olved 113 patien.s aged at least 18 years, whose QOL was compared with that of a con.rol group con.istin. of 100 n.n.patien.s. QOL was assessed usin. the Sin.-n.sal Outcome Test (Sn.T-22) Question.aire. Results: The mean.age of the patien.s was 41.0 years (18 - 74 years) an. that of the con.rols was 39.1 years (19 - 77 years). More than.half of the participan.s were un.versity graduates. The median.Sn.T-22 score was 44 (14 - 78) in.patien.s an. 7 (1 - 40) in.con.rols. Compared with subjects without CRS, patien.s with CRS had sign.fican.ly higher scores in.all four domain. of the Sn.T-22. Aroun. 9 out of 10 patien.s had a severely impaired QoL compared with 2 out of 10 con.rols. Con.iderin. mildly impaired QoL, we foun. that in.the otological an. sleep domain., scores were n.t sign.fican.ly differen. between.patien.s an. con.rols. In.the case of severely impaired QoL, however, on.y the otological domain.showed a n.n.sign.fican. differen.e in.scores between.the two groups. Con.lusion. CRS is a real public health problem in.our en.iron.en. an. sign.fican.ly alters the QoL of patien.s sufferin. from it, with repercussion. on.their profession.l productivity;hen.e the n.ed for better man.gemen..

AIM: To evaluate the prevalen.e of den.al an.malies in.patien.s who report to the k.mfo An.k.e Teachin. Hospital (k.TH) den.al clin.cs. METHOD: A descriptive cross-section.l design.was used with a sample size of 92 patien.s aged 18 or older, obtain.d through con.en.en.e samplin.. Data an.lysis was performed usin. SPSS version.26.0. RESULTS: The study in.luded 92 patien.s aged 18 to 72 years, with 47.8% males an. 52.2% females. Den.al an.malies were observed in.51.1% of participan.s, with a higher prevalen.e in.females (55.3%). The most common.an.malies were diastema (48.3%), impacted teeth (22.0%), dilaceration.(11.9%), an. peg-shaped lateral teeth (6.8%). COn.LUSIOn. This study highlights the importan.e of con.uctin. thorough den.al examin.tion. to iden.ify an. address den.al an.malies, which may have implication. for treatmen.. Early detection.an. correction.of these an.malies are crucial to preven. future complication..
