An IoT-Based Aquaculture Monitoring System Using Firebase

Indonesia is a producer in the fisheries sector,with production reaching 14.8 million tons in *** production potential of the fisheries sector can be optimally optimized through aquaculture *** of the most important issues in aquaculture management is how to efficiently control the fish pond water *** technology can be applied to support a fish pond aquaculture monitoring system,especially for catfish species(Siluriformes),in real-time and *** of the technologies that can provide this convenience is the *** problem of this study is how to integrate IoT devices with Firebase’s cloud data system to provide reliable and precise data,which makes it easy for fish cultivators to monitor fishpond conditions in real time and *** IoT aquaculture fishpond monitoring use 3 parameters:(1)water temperature;(2)pHwater level;and(3)turbidity level of pond *** devices use temperature sensors,pH sensors,and turbidity sensors,which are integrated with a microcontroller and Wi-Fi *** from sensor readings are sent to the Firebase cloud via theWi-Fi module so that it can be accessed in real time by end users with an Androidbased mobile *** findings are(1)the IoT-based aquaculture monitoring system device has a low error rate in measuring temprature,pH,and turbidity with a percentage of 1.75%,1.94% and 9.78%,***,the total average error of the three components is 4.49%;(2)in cost analysis,IoT-based has a cost-effectiveness of 94.21% compared to labor *** IoT-based aquaculture monitoring system using Firebase can be effectively used as a technology for monitoring fish pond conditions in real-time and remotely for fish cultivators that contribute to providing an IoT-based aquaculture monitoring system that produces valid data,is precise,is easy to implement,and is a low-cost system.

Drift phenomenon has been known as the drawback of sensors and causes inaccuracy on the long-term measurement. In general,there are two methods to reduce the drift *** is to tune the parameters of the fabrication process to improve the properties of the front-ended *** is to compensate the drift phenomenon by adding extra drift compensation circuit or software in the back-ended readout *** this study,a drift calibration method for the potentiometric sensor was presented and the drift calibration method was performed by using the *** to experimental results,the drift phenomenon of the SnO_2 pH electrode was reduced by the drift calibration device.

ANALYSIS ON THE SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION VARIATION CHARACTERISTIC OF URBAN HEAT ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY AND ITS MECHANISM——A Case Study of Hangzhou City

Urban heat environmental quality (UHEQ) is affected by the interacting of weather condition and underlying surface framework of urban area. In the last two decades, many researchers from domestic and overseas have studied many problems at the aspect of urban heat environment such as urban heat islands, urban air temperature and their relation with urban land cover, city population, air pollution etc. In the recent years, Hangzhou, acting as a center city of Zhejiang Province in China, its urbanization quantum and quantity have both changed greatly, in particular, representing as business affairs building, resident real property and all kinds of specialty market having arisen in built-up zone. Based on Landsat TM images data in 1991 and 1999, urban underlying surface temperature value and Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) were calculated using image interpreting and supervised classification technique by remote sensing software ERDAS image 8.4. The relation model between urban underlying surface temperature (UUST) and urban air temperature was setup according to the certain correlation pattern. Reference to the relational standard of assessing human comfort and other meteorology data of Hangzhou City in summer, the spatial distribution characteristic and the spatial variation degree of human comfort of heat environmental quality are estimated and mapped on a middle scale, that is, in six districts of Hangzhou City . Then the paper reveals the main characteristic of spatial variation from 1991 to 1999. Lastly, the change mechanism is analyzed and discussed from the viewpoint of city planning, construction and environmental protection.

Growth behavior of electroless copper on silicon substrate

The growth behavior containing deposit morphology, growth rate, activation energy, and growth mechanism of copper on silicon substrate, especially at the initial stage, in the electroless plating process was studied. Copper was deposited on the surface of the silicon substrate in an electroless plating bath containing formalin (CH2O 37vol%) as a reducing agent at a pH value of 12.5 and a tem- perature of 50-75°C. The copper deposit was characterized using a field emission scanning electron microscope and transmission elec- tron microscope. The results showed that after the activation process, nanoscale Pd particles were distributed evenly on the surface of the silicon; in the deposition process, copper first nucleated at locations not only near the Pd particles but also between the Pd particles; the growth rate of electroless Cu ranged from 0.517 nm/s at 50°C to 1.929 nm/s at 75°C. The activation energy of electroless Cu on Si was 52.97 kJ/mol.

Is burnout a mediating factor between sharps injury and workrelated factors or musculoskeletal pain?

BACKGROUND Burnout,musculoskeletal pain,and sharps injuries(SIs)affect medical *** To establish a model between SIs,burnout,and the risk factors to assess the extent to which burnout affects *** This questionnaire was used for an observational and cross-sectional study,which was based on members at a hospital affiliated with a medical university in Taichung,Taiwan,in *** valid responses constituted 68.5%(1734 of 2531).The items were drawn from the Nordic Musculoskeletal Questionnaire and Copenhagen burnout inventory and concerned work experience,occupational category,presence of chronic diseases,sleep duration,overtime work,and work *** analysis,chi-square test,Fisher exact test,Multiple linear,logistic regression and Sobel test were *** present analyses were performed using SAS Enterprise Guide 6.1 software(SAS Institute Inc.,Cary,NC,United States),and significance was set at P Q3) and highwork-related burnout (> Q3) mediated the relationship between SIs and frequentlower limb pain. Similarly, frequent lower limb pain mediated the relationship ofSIs with high personal and high work-related burnout. High personal and highwork-related burnout mediated the relationships of SIs with overtime work andirregular shift work. The mediating model provides strong evidence of anassociation between mental health and *** was determined to contribute to SIs occurrence;specifically, it mediatedthe relationships of SIs with frequent musculoskeletal pain, overtime work, andirregular shift work.

Secure data communication is an essential requirement for an Internet of Things(IoT)*** in Industrial Internet of Things(IIoT)and Internet of Medical Things(IoMT)systems,when important data are hacked,it may induce property loss or life *** though many IoTrelated communication protocols are equipped with secure policies,they still have some security weaknesses in their IoT *** is one of the low power wide-area network protocols,and it adopts Advanced Encryption Standard(AES)to provide message integrity and ***,LoRaWAN’s encryption key update scheme can be further *** this paper,a Two-stage High-efficiency LoRaWAN encryption key Update Scheme(THUS for short)is proposed to update LoRaWAN’s root keys and session keys in a secure and efficient *** THUS consists of two stages,i.e.,the Root Key Update(RKU)stage and the Session Key Update(SKU)stage,and with different update frequencies,the RKU and SKU provide higher security level than the normal LoRaWAN specification does.A modified AES encryption/decryption process is also utilized in the THUS for enhancing the security of the *** security analyses demonstrate that the THUS not only protects important parameter during key update stages,but also satisfies confidentiality,integrity,and mutual ***,The THUS can further resist replay and eavesdropping attacks.

Efficient and secure three-party authenticated key exchange protocol for mobile environments

Yang and Chang (2009) proposed a three-party authenticated key exchange protocol for securing communications in mobile-commerce environments. Their protocol reduces computation and communication costs by employing elliptic curve cryptosystems. However, Tan (2010) pointed out that Yang and Chang (2009)'s protocol cannot withstand impersonation and parallel attacks, and further proposed an enhanced protocol to resist these attacks. This paper demonstrates that Tan (2010)'s approach still suffers from impersonation attacks, and presents an efficient and secure three-party authenticated key exchange protocol to overcome shown weaknesses.

Star formation is governed by the interplay between gravity and turbulence in most of molecular *** theoretical works assume that dense gas,whose column density is above a critical value in the column density probability distribution function(N-PDF),where gravity starts to overcome turbulence,becomes star-forming gas and will collapse to form ***,these high-density gases will include some very turbulent areas in the *** these dense but turbulent gases also form stars?We test this scenario in Ophiuchus molecular cloud using N-PDF analysis and find that at least in some regions,the turbulent,dense gas is not forming *** identified two isolated high-density structures in Ophiuchus,which are gravitationally unbound and show no sign of star *** high densities may come from turbulence.
