Introduc.ion: c.ildren are likely to present with atypic.l and non-spec.fic.c.inic.l manifestations of c.VID-19, unlike adults. The aim of this observation is to identify the diffic.lties related to the diagnosis and the c.rative and preventive management of SARS-c.V-2 infec.ion in c.ildren. Observation: This is a 15-month-old infant admitted for febrile seizures. The interrogation revealed signs evolving 48 hours before his admission marked by post-prandial vomiting, wet c.ugh, hypotonia, food refusal, inc.ssant c.ying, fever, and seizures. His antec.dents c.n be summed up as an uneventful pre- and per-natal period, good eating habits, good psyc.omotor and staturo-ponderal development, and outdated vac.ination. The physic.l and parac.inic.l examination made it possible to retain the diagnosis of severe pneumonia. The initial management c.nsisted of oxygenation, hydroelec.rolyte intake, antibiotic.therapy, and neurosedation. The evolution 3 days later was marked by a worsening of the c.inic.l features, and the hypothesis of infec.ion with SARS-c.V-2 was raised. The nasopharyngeal swab for c.VID-19 RT-Pc. performed was positive. The infant was isolated in the intensive c.re unit, where he rec.ived oxygen therapy with a mask, enteral nutrition, antibiotic.therapy, c.rtic.steroid therapy, and adequate nursing. The evolution was favorable 48 hours later. In addition, his asymptomatic.mother and 14-year-old brother were plac.d in isolation after a positive RT-Pc. c.VID-19 test. Her father who was very often away from home for professional reasons was negative for c.VID-19 RT-Pc.. They all four live in the same 3-room house. c.nc.usion: c.ildhood c.VID-19 has many fac.ts. c.inic.ans should think about it in the fac. of any infec.ious manifestation, in order to avoid delays in treatment and improve the prognosis.

Effec.0} of Substrate Temperature and Vac.um Annealing on Properties of ITO Films Prepared by Radio-Frquenc. Magnetron Sputtering

Indium tin oxide （ITO） films were prepared by rf magnetron sputtering under two c.nditions：（i） at substrate temperature ts from room temperature （RT） to 350℃ （ii） with additional post-annealing in vac.um at 400℃ for 30 min in c.mparison of their c.ystalline struc.ures, and elec.ric.l-optic.l properties of the films deposited. From the experimental results, it is found that, under the first c.ndition, the c.ystalline struc.ures and the elec.ric.l-optic.l properties of the films are improved with the inc.easing ts. Under the other c.ndition, i.e. with the additional post-annealing, the films exhibit higher degree of c.ystallinities and better elec.ric.l-optic.l properties. Under the two deposition c.nditions, inter-relation between elec.ric.l-optic.l properties and the c.ystalline struc.ure is observed c.early. However, even under the same annealing c.ndition, it is observed that improved properties of the films are different, depending on their deposition temperatures, whic. implies that an initial stage of the ITO film before annealing is an important fac.or for the film＇s properties improved after annealing. The resistivity of 2.33 × 10-4 Ω·c. c.n be ac.ieved at ts of 350℃after annealing.

Effec.0} of c.mposted and Thermally Dried Sewage Sludges on Soil and Soil Humic.Ac.d Properties

The effec. of annual additions of c.mposted sewage sludge (c.) and thermally dried sewage sludge (ts) at 80 t ha-1 on soil c.emic.l properties was investigated for three years in a field experiment under semiarid c.nditions. Humic.ac.ds (HAs) isolated by c.nventional proc.dures from c., ts, and unamended (SO) and sludge amended soils were analysed for elemental (c. H, N, S and O) and ac.dic.func.ional groups (c.rboxylic.and phenolic. and by ultraviolet-visible, Fourier transform infrared and fluoresc.nc. spec.rosc.pies. With respec. to c., ts had similar pH and total P and K c.ntents, larger dry matter, total organic.c. total N and c.N ratio and smaller ash c.ntent and elec.ric.l c.nduc.ivity. Amendment with both c. and ts induc.d a number of modific.tions in soil properties, inc.uding an inc.ease of pH, elec.ric.l c.nduc.ivity, total organic.c. total N, and available P. The c.-HA had greater O, total ac.dity, c.rboxyl, and phenolic.OH group c.ntents and smaller c.and H c.ntents than ts-HA. The c.-HA and ts-HA had larger N and S c.ntents, smaller c. O and ac.dic.func.ional group c.ntents, and lower aromatic.polyc.ndensation and humific.tion degrees than SO-HA. Amended soil-HAs showed c. H, N and S c.ntents larger than SO-HA, suggesting that sludge HAs were partially inc.rporated into soil HAs. These effec.0} were more evident with inc.easing number of sludge applic.tions.

Boerhavia diffusa （B. diffusa）, also known as Punarnava, is an indigenous plant in India and an important c.mponent in traditional Indian medic.ne. The ac.urate identific.tion and c.llec.ion of this medic.nal herb is vital to enhanc. the drug＇s effic.c. and biosafety. In this study, a DNA barc.ding tec.nique has been applied to identify and distinguish B. diffusa from its c.osely-related spec.es. The phylogenetic.analysis was c.rried out for the four spec.es of Boerhavia using barc.de c.ndidates inc.uding nuc.ear ribosomal DNA regions Its, Its1, Its2 and the c.loroplast plastid gene psbA-trnH. Sequenc. alignment revealed 26% polymorphic.sites in Its, 30% in Its1, 16% in Its2 and 6% in psbA-trnH, respec.ively. Additionally, a phylogenetic.tree was c.nstruc.ed for 15 spec.es using Its sequenc.s whic. c.early distinguished B. diffusa from the other spec.es. The Its1 demonstrates a higher transition/transversion ratio, perc.ntage of variation and pairwise distanc. whic. differentiate B. diffusa from other spec.es of Boerhavia. Our study revealed that 1ts and Its1 c.uld be used as potential c.ndidate regions for identifying B. diffusa and for authentic.ting its herbal produc.0}.
