Upconversion nanophosphors are new promising nanomaterials to be used as biolabels for detection and imaging of cancer *** nanophosphors absorb long-wavelength excitation radiation in the infrared or near infrared region and emit shorter wavelength,higher energy radiation from ultraviolet to *** this paper,we studied the hydrothermal method and optical properties of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+for biomedical *** synthesis,these NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+nanophosphors were functionalized with aminosilanes and folic *** acid binds to the folate receptor on the surface of MCF-7 breast cancer cells and this binding promotes internalization of the nanophosphors via *** sizes of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA(folic acid)nanophosphors can be controlled with length of the rod about 300-800 nm and diameter of the rod about 100-200 *** structure of NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+is in hexagonal crystal *** photo luminescence(PL)spectra of the functionalized NaYF4:Yb^3+,Er^3+@silica-N=FA nanophosphors were *** nanophosphors emit in red color with the strongest band at 650 nm under 980 nm *** result can provide NaYF4:Er^3+,Yb^3+@silica-N=FA complex for developing fluorescence label and image tool in cancer biology and medicine.

Characterization of Electrochromic Properties of Polyaniline thin Films Electropolymerized in H₂So₄ Solution

Polyaniline (PANI) onto indium-doped tin-oxide (ITo)-coated glass samples were prepared by electroopolymerization in 0.5 M H2So4 solution. Structure and morphology characterization of the PANI films demonstrated that the films were grown onto ITo substrates in the form of polycrystalline microbelts separated by micropores. By analysing the UV-Vis absorption spectra of the PANI films, the energy bandgap was found to be approximately 2.75 eV. the PANI/ITo films exhibited a good reversible electrochromic display (ECD) performance when cycled in 0.1 M LiClo4 + pro-pylene carbonate. the response time of the ECD coloration was found to be as small as 15 s and the coloration efficiency was found to be 8.85 cm2 C-1. After 100 cycles of the ECD performance, the cyclic voltammetry curve of the working electrode maintained unchanged. this demonstrates that the electropolymerized PANI films can be served as a good candidate for ECD applications, taking advantage of their excellent properties in terms of chemical stability.

the groundwater potential map is an important tool for a sustainable water management and land use planning,particularly for agricultural countries like *** this article,we proposed new machine learning ensemble techniques namely AdaBoost ensemble(ABLWL),Bagging ensemble(BLWL),Multi Boost ensemble(MBLWL),Rotation Forest ensemble(RFLWL)with Locally Weighted Learning(LWL)algorithm as a base classifier to build the groundwater potential map of Gia Lai province in *** this study,eleven conditioning factors(aspect,altitude,curvature,slope,Stream transport Index(STI),Topographic Wetness Index(TWI),soil,geology,river density,rainfall,land-use)and 134 wells yield data was used to create training(70%)and testing(30%)datasets for the development and validation of the *** statistical indices were used namely Positive Predictive Value(PPV),Negative Predictive Value(NPV),Sensitivity(SST),Specificity(SPF),Accuracy(ACC),Kappa,and Receiver operating Characteristics(RoC)curve to validate and compare performance of *** show that performance of all the models is good to very good(AUC:0.75 to 0.829)but the ABLWL model with AUC=0.89 is the *** the models applied in this study can support decision-makers to streamline the management of the groundwater and to develop economy not only of specific territories but also in other regions across the world with minor changes of the input parameters.
