Cross-sectional homogenization for full-core calculations of small and complex reactor configurations,such as research reactors,has been recently recognized as an interesting and challenging *** paper presents the development of a PARCS/Serpent model for the neutronics analysis of a research reactor type TRIGA Mark-II loaded with Russian VVR-M2 fuel(known as the Dalat Nuclear Research Reactor or DNRR).The full-scale DNRR model and a supercell model for a shim/safety rod and its surrounding fuel bundles with the Monte Carlo code Serpent 2 were proposed to generate homogenized fewgroup cross sections for full-core diffusion calculations with *** full-scale DNRR model with Serpent 2 was also utilized as a reference to verify the PARCS/Serpent *** of the effective neutron multiplication factors,radial and axial core power distributions,and control rod worths showed a generally good agreement between PARCS and Serpent *** addition,the discrepancies between the PARCS and Serpent 2 results are also ***,the results indicate the applicability of the PARCS/Serpent model for further steady state and transient analyses of the DNRR.

We develop an efficiently improved knowledge-based neural network(KBNN)associated with optimization algorithms and finite element analysis(FEA)to accurately predict spring-back angles in metal sheet *** well-known V and U prevalent processes of bending are *** KBNN predictive results are based on the empirical model and artificial neural network(ANN)*** empirical model is constructed from the FEA results using response surface method,while the multilayer perceptron is employed to create the *** trained KBNN can accurately model the relation-ship between the spring-back angles and process *** obtained results are validated against other existing methods showing a high accuracy.

Background:Chinese Danggui(Angelica sinensis)and Japanese Danggui(Angelica acutiloba)are evaluated as the same in using and critical of quality control in vietnamese *** vietnam,Japanese Danggui were acclimatized and cultivated in several regions in recent *** the huge climatic difference between vietnam and Japan,Japanese Danggui grows very well in ***,there are no studies to assess the overall quality of this medicinal *** and Objectives:The aim of this study is to develop a method to identify and assay simultaneously 5 component compounds of these crude herbs:chlorogenic acid,ferulic acid,scopoletin,xanthotoxin and ligustilide by high-performance liquid chromatography with photodiode array detector(HPLC-PDA).Materials and Methods:The procedure was optimized by using column Phenomenex Gemini 5μm PR C18,15 x 4,6 mm with the detection wavelength set at 321 nm for detector PDA and mobile phase was composed of(A)ACN and(B)aqueous solution 1%of acid acetic using a gradient *** were performed at 30°C with a flow rate of 1.0 mL/***:The developped method were fully validated for linearity,accuracy,recovery and met the validation requirements,proved practical applicability for the quality control of these herbs and related ***:The method was successfully applied to the quantification of five markers simultaneously from collected samples.

Traditional vietnamese Medicine has its own development based on the local endemic herbs,but it also inherits from Traditional Chinese Medicine using Chinese herbal *** the history of cultural exchange between two countries,the adoption of Chinese Danggui,Angelica sinensis(Oliv.)Diels.,has been made by vietnamese traditional medicine practitioners for a long ***,the acclimatization has never been *** Danggui,or Angelica acutiloba Kitagawa,is recently being acclimatized and cultivated in several vietnamese *** the huge climate change between the two countries,the herb adapted exquisitely well to the humid tropical ***,so far,there are no studies that have evaluated the effect of acclimatization on the overall quality of this medicinal *** aim of our study is screening secondary metabolites of this acclimatized herb for new natural compound(s),if *** analysis of flavonoid fraction from this herb led to the identification of two known compounds which previously have not been isolated from this species *** detection showed that the herb has reacted to the new environment.

Aquatic contamination of diclofenac(DCF),an emergent non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAIDs),can result in adverse effects to many ecosystems through ***,introducing effective remediation techniques to sequester the pharmaceutical wastes is highly fundamental to prevent their accumulation in the ***,adsorption has been presented as a green and efficient ***,we report the characterization and application of the novel magnetic nanocomposite(GO@CoFe2O4)derived from cobalt-based ferrite(CoFe2O4)and graphene oxide(GO)for DCF *** the optimization procedure,the response surface methodology(RSM)was adopted to investigate the impacts of DCF concentration(1.6-18.4 mg/L),DCF dosage(0.08-0.92 g/L),and solution pH(2.6-9.4)to find the optimum conditions for DCF removal,at 10.5 mg/L,0.74 g/L,and pH 4,*** the adsorption experiments,the kinetic,isotherm,thermodynamic,and intraparticle diffusion models were systematically ***,we have elucidated the role of functional groups on the surface of GO@CoFe2O4 in enhancing the adsorption of DCF *** good removal efficiency(up to 86.1%),high maximum adsorption capacity(32.4 mg/g),GO@CoFe2O4 can be a potential candidate to eliminate DCF drug from water.

Deep learning(DL)models currently employed in materials research exhibit certain limitations in delivering meaningful information for interpreting predictions and comprehending the relationships between structure and material *** address these limitations,we propose an interpretable DL architecture that incorporates the attention mechanism to predict material properties and gain insights into their structure–property *** proposed architecture is evaluated using two well-known datasets(the QM9 and the Materials Project datasets),and three in-house-developed computational materials ***–test–split validations confirm that the models derived using the proposed DL architecture exhibit strong predictive capabilities,which are comparable to those of current state-of-the-art ***,comparative validations,based on first-principles calculations,indicate that the degree of attention of the atoms’local structures to the representation of the material structure is critical when interpreting structure–property relationships with respect to physical *** properties encompass molecular orbital energies and the formation energies of *** proposed architecture shows great potential in accelerating material design by predicting material properties and explicitly identifying crucial features within the corresponding structures.

In this study, a two-stage method is presented for identifying multiple damage scenarios. In the first stage, the damage locating vector （DLV） method using normalized cumulative energy （nce） is employed for damage localization in structures. In the second stage, the differential evolution algorithm （DE） is used for damage severity of the structures. In addition, in the second stage, a modification of an available objective function is made for handing the issue of symmetric structures. To verify the effectiveness of the present technique, numerical examples of a 72-bar space truss and a one-span steel portal frame are considered. In addition, the effect of noise on the performance of the identification results is also investigated. The numerical results show that the proposed combination gives good assessment of damage location and extent for multiple structural damage cases.

Objective:This study aimed to describe the conflict management styles and identify factors affecting the conflict management styles of nurse *** and Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted by interviewing nurse managers with a questionnaire,including the Rahim Organizational Conflict Inventory-II Form B,used to assess an individual’s approach to conflict management across five styles:cooperating,competing,compromising,obliging,and ***:A total of 30 nurse managers participated in this *** mean scores of the cooperating style were the highest at 4.3±0.4,followed by a compromising style at 3.4±0.5,an avoiding style at 3.1±0.6,an accommodating style at 2.9±0.7,and a competing style at 2.8±0.8(χ^(2)=66.624,P<0.001).The mean scores for avoiding style among bachelor’s degree nurse managers(3.2±0.6)were higher than those of master’s degree nurse managers(2.7±0.6)(P=0.036).Nurse managers over 40 years old,holding a managerial position for≥10 years,and frequent conflict handling rated higher mean scores for the cooperating style than their counterparts(P<0.05).Conclusion:The cooperating style was the most commonly used conflict management style among nurse *** affecting the conflict management style were age,education level,and experience in management and conflict *** findings are useful for developing interventions that enhance the competencies of nurse managers in conflict management.
