Mice deficient in the transcription factor pleomorphic adenoma gene 1(PLAG1)exhibit reproductive issues that are characterized,in part,by decreased progressive sperm motility in the ***,the underlying cause of this impairment is *** epididymal transit is critical for sperm maturation and motility,the morphology of the epididymis of Plag1-deficient mice was investigated and the spatial expression patterns of PLAG1 protein and mRNA were *** X-gal staining and in situ hybridization,PLAG1 was shown to be widely expressed in both the epithelium and stroma in all regions of the mouse ***,the X-gal staining pattern was markedly different in the cauda,where it could be suggestive of PLAG1 secretion into the epididymal *** all ages investigated,the morphology of epididymides from Plag1 knockout(KO)mice was aberrant;the tubule failed to elongate and coil,particularly in the corpus and cauda,and the cauda was malformed,lacking its usual bulbous ***,the epididymides from Plag1 KO mice were significantly reduced in size relative to body *** 20%of Plag1-deficient mice,the left testicle and epididymis were *** impaired morphogenesis of the epididymal tubule is likely to be a major contributing factor to the fertility problems observed in male Plag1-deficient *** results also establish PLAG1 as an important regulator of male reproduction,not only through its involvement in testicular sperm production,but also via its role in the development and function of the epididymis.

This article develops a comparative analysis of healthcare provision to migrants in the US and in *** proceeds in three ***,we begin by describing the growth of the unauthorized population and trace the evolution of social provision of healthcare to immigrants,highlighting the restrictive nature of federal social provisions and greater autonomy of state and local governments in redefining eligibility criteria in the ***,we examine the impact of legal status on healthcare access and utilization among Mexicans,using original data from the 2007 Hispanic Healthcare Survey and the Mexican Migration *** find that unauthorized immigrants report the lowest level of healthcare access and ***,we then outline a china-US comparative agenda,pointing to similarities between the two migrant *** china,recent developments of healthcare coverage for both rural and urban populations have increased access to healthcare,but rural-to-urban migrants still report many barriers in receiving care and are often left out of this growing safety *** then close with a discussion of lessons learned from the US experience and remaining questions for future comparative research.

Air quality is one of key issues to be addressed in the Vietnam environmental security strategy. As part of the strategy, this study investigates the temporal patterns of PM2.5 variations in Hanoi using data measured from January 2017 to December 2018. The loglinear regression is used to analyze how the meteorological factors affect the PM2.5 variations. The analysis indicates the seasonal, monthly and diurnal variations of PM2.5 concentrations. The lowest concentration level is found in the summer due to hot climatic conditions with strong winds and high solar radiation. The highest PM2.5 concentration is observed in winter as a result of stagnation. The concentration levels from 2:00 AM to 8:00 AM tend to be higher than other hours of the day while the downtrend is recorded from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM and reaches the lowest levels of the day at 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. The study results provide important information for government authorities, international and civil society organizations on when and why the PM2.5 concentration levels increase. This predictive analysis would be useful to develop early warning systems and to minimize the negative impacts of air pollution on public health.

铜化学机械平面化不同阻挡层浆料的应用引起了铜cMP后清洗的问题。阻挡层浆料的差异包含但不限于pH、研磨剂粒子材料和尺寸及铜腐蚀的抑制剂。为观察阻挡层浆料对清洗工艺的影响进行了清洗实验。阻挡层浆料不同于pH和所有作为铜抑制剂的BTA材料。抑制性BTA溶液的pH值将确定BTA与铜复合物的特性和随后在清洗工艺中去除这种膜的条件。因此,为了研究pH、化学成份以及阻挡层浆料留在铜表面的BTA与铜的复合物去除的化学程序的影响而改变了清洗工艺。从而发现阻挡层浆料的pH值对各种清洗设备的效力均有影响,而且,某些添加剂和两步化学清洗工艺的使用,改进了可变pH值阻挡层浆料的清洗性能。这种工作的结果表明,在最佳结果中,清洗工艺应该致力于阻挡层浆料方面。

目的本研究旨在预测未来初级医生短缺情况,确定未来所需医生岗位增加量和构成,预测行医规模和退休年龄改变的影响。方法根据2010年美国国家流动医疗调查数据,计算流动初级医疗服务利用情况,并根据美国人口统计局数据预测未来人口学改变。根据美国医学协会Masterfile文件内容,确定初级医疗医生的基线数量和将在66岁退休的医生数量。利用专业委员会和美国骨科协会数据,对初级医疗医生年产量进行估算。以2015—2035年累计初级医疗医生需求数量,减去初级医生累计产量,得到初级医疗医生短缺数量。结果截至2035年,初级医疗医生需求量将达到44 000人。目前的初级医疗医生产量将无法满足该需求,届时初级医疗医生缺口将达到33 000人。以目前的医生年产量,截至2035年仍需额外增加1 700个初级医疗医生岗位。如果每一位初级医疗医生负责的人口数量减少10%,则需要额外增加超过3 000个初级医疗医生岗位。如果初级医疗医生退休年龄由66岁降低到64岁,那么另外需增加2 400个岗位。结论为了防止2035年医生缺口的出现,初级医疗医年生产量与当前相比需增长21%。以配送模式进行的初级医疗使人口/医生比率减小,这可能会进一步加大医生缺口。

This paper presents a high-order coupled compact integrated RBF(cc IRBF)approximation based domain decomposition(DD)algorithm for the discretisation of second-order differential *** Schwarz DD algorithms,including one-level additive/multiplicative and two-level additive/multiplicative/hybrid,are *** ccIRBF based DD algorithms are analysed with different mesh sizes,numbers of subdomains and overlap sizes for Poisson *** convergence analysis shows that the ccIRBF two-level multiplicative version is the most effective algorithm among various schemes employed ***,the present ccIRBF two-level method converges quite rapidly even when the domain is divided into many subdomains,which shows great promise for either serial or parallel *** practical tests,we then incorporate the ccIRBF into serial and parallel two-level multiplicative *** numerical examples,including those governed by Poisson and Navier-Stokes equations are analysed to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the serial and parallel algorithms implemented with the *** results show:(i)the ccIRBF-Serial and-Parallel algorithms have the capability to reach almost the same solution accuracy level of the ccIRBF-Single domain,which is ideal in terms of computational calculations;(ii)the ccIRBF-Serial and-Parallel algorithms are highly accurate in comparison with standard finite difference,compact finite difference and some other schemes;(iii)the proposed ccIRBF-Serial and-Parallel algorithms may be used as alternatives to solve large-size problems which the ccIRBF-Single domain may not be able to deal *** ability of producing stable and highly accurate results of the proposed serial and parallel schemes is believed to be the contribution of the coarse mesh of the two-level domain decomposition and the ccIRBF *** is noted that the focus of this paper is on the derivation of highly accurate serial and parallel algorithms

In this study,we developed a novel optical-flow algorithm for determining the wall shear-stress on the surface of *** algorithm solves the thin-oil-film equation using a numerical scheme that recovers local features neglected by smoothing filters.A variational formulation with a smoothness constraint was applied to extract the global shear-stress *** algorithm was then applied to scalar images generated using direct numerical simulation(DNS)method,which revealed that the errors were smaller than those of conventional *** application of the proposed algorithm to recover the wall shear-stress on a low-aspect-ratio wing and on an axisymmetric boattail model taken as examples in this study showed a strong potential for analysing shear-stress *** to the methods used in previous studies,proposed method reveals more local features of separation line and singular points on object surface.

Purpose: PEG 3350 (MiraLax, Braintree Laboratories Inc., Braintree, MA) 17 g daily has been shown to be safe and effective in a 14- day trial for constipation. This present investigation was designed to extend the treatment and safety experience with PEG 3350 and to evaluate any lasting effectiveness during a 30- day post- treatment observation period. Methods: Study subjects met Rome II criteria for constipation and reportedcacy was defined by resolution of constipation symptoms as determined by the Rome II and stool frequency definitions during the treatment period. Results: Fifty healthy constipated subjects formed the study group. There were 42 females and 8 males. Mean age was 52 ± 15.5 years (± SD). Symptom duration was 22.6 ± 16.7 months (± SD). At baseline, all hadcriteria. Two were lost to follow- up. Two took enemas or laxatives and 2 discontinued active treatment because of “ gas" and were considered treatment failures. At the end of 14 days, 40 of 48 (83.3% ) had >3 stools in the last week and no longer met Rome criteria. Thirty- two of 45 (71.1% ) reported satisfaction with the first bowel movement after initiating treatment. Thirty days after active treatment, 29 of 47 (61.7% ) responded that they needed laxative treatment. conclusion: PEG 3350 relieved constipation in most treated study subjects. During a 30- day post- treatment observation period, 29 of 47 (61.7% ) had additional constipation treatment interventions.

Radiative decays D((s))*→D((s))γare revisited in light of new experimental data from the BaBar and BESⅢ*** radiative couplings gD*Dγencoding nonperturbative QcD effects are calculated in the framework of the covariant confined quark model developed by *** compare our results with other theoretical studies and experimental *** couplings(in GeV-1)|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.45(9)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.72(34)calculated in our model agree with the corresponding experimental data|g(D*+D+γ)|=0.47(7)and|g(D*0D0γ)|=1.77(16).The most interesting case is the decay Ds*→Dsγ,for which a recent prediction based on light-cone sum rules at next-to-leading order|gDs*Dsγ|=0.60(19)deviates from the first(and only to date)lattice QcD result|gDs*Dsγ|=0.11(2)at nearly3σ.Our calculation yields|gDs*Dsγ|=0.29(6),which falls somehow between the two mentioned results,although it is larger than those predicted in other studies using quark models or QcD sum rules.
