Sequential type one pot Nazarov/Michael reaction of pyrrole derivatives has been demonstrated using 5 tool% Fe（C104）3· A120 as catalyst in an ionic liquid as solvent. We succeeded in obtaining 4,5-dihydrocyclopenta[b]pyrrol-6（1H）-one derivative in good yield for five repetitions of the reactions without any addition of the catalyst using an ionic liquid, [bmim][NTf2], as sol- vent system.

Suitable control of the humidity can contribute to electric energy savings. However, the present dehumidification system has many weak points. The liquid desiccant air-conditioning system has recently gained growing interest from the stand point of reducing energy consumption during dehumidification. In order to find the appropriate ionic liquids(ILs) as a desiccant for the liquid desiccant air-conditioner system, we conducted a systematic evaluation of the humidification capability of 16 types of ILs. Among the tested ILs, tributyl(methyl)phosphonium dimethyl phosphate([P4441][DMPO_4]) exhibited the best dehumidification capacity and had a less corrosive effect on four types of metals as possible piping materials. It should be noted that this [P_(4441)][DMPO_4] has a very stable nature and produced no odor while conducting the experiment and storing for over 1 year at room temperature under ambient conditions. Furthermore, it was revealed that a 77%(w/w) aqueous solution of [P4441][DMPO_4] worked as an efficient desiccant liquid for the liquid desiccant air-conditioner system.

Organic photovoltaic devices(OPVs) using chiral cyclohexene-fused [C_(60)]-fullerene derivatives that have(l)-menthyl ester moiety have been prepared and their properties evaluated as acceptor molecules with P3 HT polymer: racemic cyclohexene-fused [C_(60)] fullenene,(RS)-(1 R,2 S,5 R)-2 a showed higher PCE(2.81%) than that of standard [C_(60)]-PCBM(2.64%) under the same analysis conditions. On the contrary, devices using chiral(R)-(1 R,2 S,5 R)-2 a and(S)-(1 R,2 S,5 R)-2 a, showed PCE as 1.08% and 1.10%, respectively. The main origin of the differences in PCE was found to be their poor Jsc values. The results indicate that the aggregation state might influence the interaction state with P3 HT and impact the results of the OPV properties, Jsc values in particular.

The liquid desiccant air-conditioning system allows reducing energy consumption compared to the conventional compressor-type air *** order to develop desiccant materials for air conditioners,we have investigated the dehumidification capability of quaternary ammonium Ionic Liquids(ILs)and the equilibrium water vapor pressure of aqueous solutions of these ammonium *** the seven tested types of ILs,2-hydroxyN,N,N-trimethylethan-1-aminium dimethylphosphate([Ch][DMPO4])displayed the best dehumidification capability and the lowest equilibrium water vapor ***,the 80%aqueous solution of[Ch][DMPO4]exhibited a less corrosive effect on four types of metals,i.e.,steel(hot dip zinc-aluminum alloy plated steel),copper(C1100P),aluminum(A5052),and stainless steel(SUS:SUS304).It should be noted that this[Ch][DMPO4]is not only non-toxic but also exhibits a stable nature;the aqueous solution produced no odor after storing for over 1 year under ambient conditions.

Reactive lymphoid hyperplasia of the liver:A case report and review of literature

A case of a 53-year-old female patient with reactive lymphoid hyperplasia （RLH）, clinically designated as pseudolymphoma of the liver is described in this article. The patient was admitted to our hospital for further evaluation of hepatic tumors incidentally discovered at another hospital. Various diagnostic methods, including ultrasonography （US）, computerized tomography （CT）, magnetic resonance imaging （MRI） and hepatic angiography displayed three small lesions in the liver with outstanding findings consistent with hepatocellular carcinoma （HCC）. Surgical resection was performed and the three lesions were microscopically diagnosed as RLH of the liver. The lesions comprised a massive infiltration of lymphoid cells with follicles and hyalinized inter- follicular spaces. Immunohistochemical examination revealed that infiltrating lymphocytes had no prominent nuclear atypia and polyclonality. RLH of the liver is a very rare condition and only twelve cases have been reported in the English literature. Majority of the reported cases were middle-aged women and about half of them had some immunologic abnormalities such as autoimmune thyroiditis, Sjogren＇s syndrome, primary immunodeficiency, primary biliary cirrhosis. Since they are olden clinically misdiagnosed as HCC, surgery is the choice of treatment for these patients. Although their pathology resembles malignant lymphoma, the clinical course is completely benign. The authors propose that RLH of the liver can be discriminated from HCC by its clinical features.

A theory of the dynamic response of the turbulent plasma against the externally-controlled perturbations is reported. Based on Mori＇s method [Prog. Theor. Phys. 33 423 （1965）], the nonlinear force is assmned to be separated into the memory function and the nonlinear fluctuating force. The former corresponds to the damping term, and the latter is categorized into the noise term. The response of the turbulent plasma against the externally-controlled source is formulated. The response kernel, which connects the externally-controlled source and the response of the turbulent field, is shown to have both the nonlocal property （in space） and the non-Markovian response （in time）. A discussion is made on the nonlocal and non-Markovian response, including the case of disparate-scale interactions. A new method is proposed to observe experimentally the nonlocal interaction in the drift wave turbulence via the zonal flows.

Laparoscopic and endoscopic co-operative surgery for nonampullary duodenal tumors

AIM To assess the safety and feasibility of laparoscopic and endoscopic co-operative surgery(LECS) for early nonampullary duodenal *** Twelve patients with a non-ampullary duodenal tumor underwent LECS at our hospital. One patient had two mucosal lesions in the duodenum. The indication for this procedure was the presence of duodenal tumors with a low risk for lymph node metastasis. In particular, the tumors included small(less than 10 mm) submucosal tumors(SMT) and epithelial mucosal tumors, such as mucosal cancers or large mucosal adenomas with malignant suspicion. The LECS procedures, such as full-thickness dissection for SMT and laparoscopic reinforcement after endoscopic submucosal dissection(ESD) for epithelial tumors, were performed for the 13 early duodenal lesions in 12 patients. Here we present the short-term outcomes and evaluate the safety and feasibility of this new *** Two SMT-like lesions and eleven superficial epithelial tumor-like lesions were observed. Seven and Six lesions were located in the second and third parts of the duodenum, respectively. All lesions were successfully resected en bloc. The defect in the duodenal wall was manually sutured after resection of the duodenal SMT. For epithelial duodenal tumors, the ulcer bed was laparoscopically reinforced via manual suturing after ESD. Intraoperative perforation occurred in two out of eleven epithelial tumor-like lesions during ESD; however, they were successfully laparoscopically repaired. The median operative time and intraoperative estimated blood loss were 322 min and 0 mL, respectively. Histological examination of the tumors revealed one adenoma with moderate atypia, ten adenocarcinomas, and two neuroendocrine tumors. No severe postoperative complications(Clavien-Dindo classification grade Ⅲ or higher) were reported in this series, but minor leakage secondary to pancreatic fistula occurred in one *** LECS can be a safe and minimally invasive treatment

Equivalent widths and line widths of Ca II infrared triplet emission lines were measured in the high-resolution optical spectra of 39 young stellar *** found that the equivalent widths of the emission lines decrease with stellar *** has often been claimed that strong chromospheric activity is generated by a dynamo process caused by fast rotation of the ***,we found no clear correlation between the strength of the Ca II lines and the stellar rotation ***,we found that the objects with high mass accretion rates had stronger Ca II emission *** correlation supports the turbulent chromosphere model or the magnetic accretion theory for classical T Tauri *** also noticed that the equivalent widths of Ca II lines in transitional disk objects are one-tenth of those in classical T Tauri stars,even if the masses of the circumstellar disks are comparable.

Heavy Ion Beam Probe Measurement in Turbulence Diagnostic Simulator

A numerical measurement module simulating a heavy ion beam probe was developed, and numerical measurements of electrostatic potential and density fluctuations are carried out for 3-D turbulent data generated by a global simulation of drift-interchange mode turbulence in helical plasmas. The deviation between measured and local values is estimated. It is found that the characteristic structures can be detected in spite of the screening effect due to the finite spatial resolution.
