Green leaching and predictive model for copper recovery from waste smelting slag with choline chloride-based deep eutectic solvent

This research was performed to investigate the optimization of copper recovery from copper smelting slag (CSS) with a deep eutectic solvent as a green reagent. The effect of important parameters on the leaching efficiency of copper and zinc (as well as dissolution of iron), such as leaching time, leaching temperature, solid/liquid ratio, and particle size was studied. In order to model the copper recovery, an optimization method was used. According to the chemical analysis of CSS, the slag contains 0.9% copper, 3.3% zinc, and 36.7% iron. Also, it was found that the CSS is mainly composed of Fe2SiO4, Fe3O4 and SiO2. Copper-containing structures were determined as CuO and CuS. As a result of leaching experiments, 80% copper and 61% zinc recoveries were obtained at 48 h, 95 degrees C, 1/25 g center dot ml-1, and -33 mm. It is noted that the iron and silicon dissolution remained negligible under the selected conditions. According to the mathematical model, the highest copper leaching efficiency (up to 100%) could be under optimum working conditions as 48.5 degrees C leaching temperature, 40.1 h leaching duration, and 62.3 ml center dot g-1 solid/liquid ratio. Also, the proposed model revealed that a wide range of experimental levels can be used as leaching parameter to get desired metal leaching efficiency. Spinal cord injury remains a major cause of disability in young adults,and beyond acute decompression and rehabilitation,there are no pharmacological treatments to limit the progression of injury and optimize recovery in this *** the thorough investigation of the complement system in triggering and propagating cerebral neuroinflammation,a similar role for complement in spinal neuroinflammation is a focus of ongoing *** this work,we survey the current literature investigating the role of complement in spinal cord injury including the sources of complement proteins,triggers of complement activation,and role of effector functions in the *** study relevant data demonstrating the different triggers of complement activation after spinal cord injury including direct binding to cellular debris,and or activation via antibody binding to damage-associated molecular *** effector functions of complement have been implicated in spinal cord injury,and we critically evaluate recent studies on the dual role of complement anaphylatoxins in spinal cord injury while emphasizing the lack of pathophysiological understanding of the role of opsonins in spinal cord *** this pathophysiological review,we systematically review the different translational approaches used in preclinical models of spinal cord injury and discuss the challenges for future translation into human *** review emphasizes the need for future studies to dissect the roles of different complement pathways in the pathology of spinal cord injury,to evaluate the phases of involvement of opsonins and anaphylatoxins,and to study the role of complement in white matter degeneration and regeneration using translational strategies to supplement genetic models.

This study aimed to investigate the site characterization of the Senirkent Basin(Isparta)by using the microtremor(H/V)and surface wave analysis(ReMi)*** district,which is located on the foothill of the Kap?Mountain,are prone to seismic and landslide *** the last landslip disaster(1995),the city has continued to develop on the alluvial *** microtremor data collected at 41 stations were *** predominant frequency and the amplification of the soil were found to be in the range of 1.8–6.6 Hz and 0.8–6.8,*** are 4.0-6.8 Hz and 1-2.5 around the slope of the Kap?Mountain and 0.8-3.6 Hz and 3.0-6.6 at alluvium deposits of the *** ReMi data collected along 41 profiles were analyzed to obtain a Vs30 *** soil classifications were done by using Vs30 values according to NEHRP soil classification *** results showed that the southern area of the study had better soil conditions with Vs30 between 360-1160 m/s and soil class between C and *** alluvium deposits on the north are relatively low with Vs30 in the range of 260-360 m/s and soil class D.

New Wave Solutions of Time-Fractional Coupled Boussinesq–Whitham–Broer–Kaup Equation as A Model of Water Waves

The main purpose of this paper is to obtain the wave solutions of conformable time fractional Boussinesq–Whitham–Broer–Kaup equation arising as a model of shallow water waves. For this aim, the authors employed auxiliary equation method which is based on a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. By using conformable wave transform and chain rule, a nonlinear fractional partial differential equation is converted to a nonlinear ordinary differential equation. This is a significant impact because neither Caputo definition nor Riemann–Liouville definition satisfies the chain rule. While the exact solutions of the fractional partial derivatives cannot be obtained due to the existing drawbacks of Caputo or Riemann–Liouville definitions, the reliable solutions can be achieved for the equations defined by conformable fractional derivatives.
