Tungsten-based materials are one of the most important candidates for the plasma facing materials（PFMs） of future fusion reactors,and it is necessary to study the properties of tungsten-based materials under the service conditions of fusion devices to ensure the long-term steady-state operation of future fusion *** this paper,different tungsten-based materials made by the same rotary swaging process are selected to simulate the transient thermal loads on the PFMs of a fusion reactor using an electron beam,and thermal load experiments are carried out by changing the power density of a loading pulse and the pulse *** is found that different tungsten-based materials made by the same process have large differences in thermal shock resistance,and the doped tungsten materials（W-K and W-La2O3） are significantly better than the pure tungsten materials with the increase in thermal shock power density and the number of cycles,especially the W-K materials,which have excellent performance.

Poly(ethylene oxide)(PEO)-based polymer electrolytes show the prospect in all-solid-state lithium metal batteries;however,they present limitations of low room-temperature ionic conductivity,and interfacial incompatibility with high voltage ***,a salt engineering of 1,1,2,2,3,3-hexafluoropropane-1,3-disulfonimide lithium salt(LiHFDF)/LiTFSI system was developed in PEO-based electrolyte,demonstrating to effectively regulate Li ion transport and improve the interfacial stability under high *** show,by manipulating the interaction between PEO matrix and TFSI^(-)-HFDF^(-),the optimized solid-state polymer electrolyte achieves maximum Li+conduction of 1.24×10^(-4)S cm^(-1)at 40℃,which is almost 3 times of the ***,the optimized polymer electrolyte demonstrates outstanding stable cycling in the LiFePO_(4)/Li and LiNi_(0.8)Mn_(0.1)Co_(0.1)O_(2)/Li(3.0-4.4 V,200 cycles)based all-solid-state lithium batteries at 40℃.

Li metal batteries using high-voltage layered oxides cathodes are of particular interest due to their high energy ***,they suffer from short lifespan and extreme safety concerns,which are attributed to the degradation of layered oxides and the decomposition of electrolyte at high voltage,as well as the high reactivity of metallic *** key is the development of stable electrolytes against both highvoltage cathodes and Li with the formation of robust interphase films on the ***,we report a highly fluorinated ether,1,1,1-trifluoro-2-[(2,2,2-trifluoroethoxy)methoxy]ethane(TTME),as a cosolvent,which not only functions as a diluent forming a localized high concentration electrolyte(LHCE),but also participates in the construction of the inner solvation *** TTME-based electrolyte is stable itself at high voltage and induces the formation of a unique double-layer solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)film,which is embodied as one layer rich in crystalline structural components for enhanced mechanical strength and another amorphous layer with a higher concentration of organic components for enhanced *** Li||Cu cells display a noticeably high Coulombic efficiency of 99.28%after 300 cycles and Li symmetric cells maintain stable cycling more than 3200 h at 0.5 mA/cm^(2) and 1.0m Ah/cm^(2).In addition,lithium metal cells using LiNi_(0.8)Co_(0.1)Mn_(0.1)O_(2) and Li CoO_(2) cathodes(both loadings~3.0 m Ah/cm^(2))realize capacity retentions of>85%over 240 cycles with a charge cut-off voltage of 4.4 V and 90%for 170 cycles with a charge cut-off voltage of 4.5 V,*** study offers a bifunctional ether-based electrolyte solvent beneficial for high-voltage Li metal batteries.

Background Intestinal barrier is a dynamic interface between the body and the ingested food components, however, dietary components or xenobiotics could compromise intestinal integrity, causing health risks to the host. Gossypol, a toxic component in cottonseed meal(CSM), caused intestinal injury in fish or other monogastric animals. It has been demonstrated that probiotics administration benefits the intestinal barrier integrity, but the efficacy of probiotics in maintaining intestinal health when the host is exposed to gossypol remains unclear. Here, a strain(YC) affiliated to Pediococcus pentosaceus was isolated from the gut of Nile tilapia(Oreochromis niloticus) and its potential to repair gossypol-induced intestinal damage was *** A total of 270 Nile tilapia(2.20 ± 0.02 g) were allotted in 3 groups with 3 tanks each and fed with 3 diets including CON(control diet), GOS(control diet containing 300 mg/kg gossypol) and GP(control diet containing 300 mg/kg gossypol and 10^(8) colony-forming unit(CFU)/g P. pentosaceus YC), respectively. After 10 weeks, addition of P. pentosaceus YC restored growth retardation and intestinal injury induced by gossypol in Nile tilapia. Transcriptome analysis and si RNA interference experiments demonstrated that NOD-like receptors(NLR) family caspase recruitment domain(CARD) domain containing 3(Nlrc3) inhibition might promote intestinal stem cell(ISC) proliferation, as well as maintaining gut barrier integrity. 16S r RNA sequencing and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS) revealed that addition of P. pentosaceus YC altered the composition of gut microbiota and increased the content of propionate in fish gut. Developing highly sensitive optical thermometers is of great significance due to their capability to enable remote and non-contact temperature measurements, rendering them highly applicable in diverse and harsh environments. Herein we report a temperature-dependent phosphor of 0D metal halide hybrid by incorporating Bi^(3+)into the(MePPh_(3))_(2)ZnCl_(4) matrix. Through Bi^(3+)doping,the initially non-luminescent(MePPh_(3))_(2) ZnCl_(4) matrix exhibits a deep-blue emission centered at 453 nm, with a photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY) of 5.71% and a Stokes shift of 75 nm at room temperature. Experimental characterization demonstrates that exciton-like luminescence of Bi^(3+)is mainly responsible for the blue emission. Single crystals of Bi^(3+)-doped(MePPh_(3))_(2)ZnCl_(4) show an unusual correlation between photoluminescence(PL) lifetime and temperature. Particularly, the dependence of luminescence lifetime on temperature is most remarkable in the temperature range of 80 to 100 K with an exceptional sensitivity up to 0.09 K^(-1), representing one of the best levels for thermometry based on PL decay lifetime. Our work not only provides a viable strategy for designing a novel, environmentally friendly, and stable blue emitter, but also paves the way for precise thermometric application at low temperature.

Improved simulation of winter wheat yield in North China Plain by using PRYM-Wheat integrated dry matter distribution coefficient

The accurate simulation of regional-scale winter wheat yield is important for national food security and the balance of grain supply and demand in ***,most remote sensing process models use the“biomass×harvest index(HI)”method to simulate regional-scale winter wheat ***,spatiotemporal differences in HI contribute to inaccuracies in yield simulation at the regional ***-series dry matter partition coefficients(Fr)can dynamically reflect the dry matter partition of winter *** this study,Fr equations were fitted for each organ of winter wheat using site-scale *** equations were then coupled into a process-based and remote sensingdriven crop yield model for wheat(PRYM-Wheat)to improve the regional simulation of winter wheat yield over the North China Plain(NCP).The improved PRYM-Wheat model integrated with the fitted Fr equations(PRYM-Wheat-Fr)was validated using data obtained from provincial yearbooks.A 3-year(2000-2002)averaged validation showed that PRYM-Wheat-Fr had a higher coefficient of determination(R^(2)=0.55)and lower root mean square error(RMSE=0.94 t ha^(-1))than PRYM-Wheat with a stable HI(abbreviated as PRYM-Wheat-HI),which had R^(2) and RMSE values of 0.30 and 1.62 t ha^(-1),*** PRYM-Wheat-Fr model also performed better than PRYM-Wheat-HI for simulating yield in verification years(2013-2015).In conclusion,the PRYM-Wheat-Fr model exhibited a better accuracy than the original PRYM-Wheat model,making it a useful tool for the simulation of regional winter wheat yield.

At the end of 2022,the adjustment of the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)pandemic control policy in China resulted in alarge-scale increase in public *** compare the fertility parameters of male patients before and after the adjustments ofthe COVID-19 pandemic control policy in China,we collected data on patients’medical histories and laboratory examinations ontheir first visits between June 2022 and March 2023 in five different *** were divided into five groups according tothe timeline of the policy *** data we collected from male patients included semen quality and serum reproductivehormone levels,and intergroup comparisons were made using the Mann–Whitney U and Chi-square *** total,16784 casesunderwent regular semen analysis,11180 had sperm morphology assessments,and 7200 had reproductive hormone *** showed declining trends in semen volume,sperm motility,and the progressive sperm motility rate after the policy *** comparison revealed an initial decrease and gradual recovery in progressive motility *** morphology analysisshowed increased neck and tail abnormalities after the policy *** significant change in hormone levels was *** the adjustment of the COVID-19 prevention policy in China,a decline in sperm motility and morphology was *** trend may gradually recover over 2 *** the policy adjustment,reproductive hormone levels were relatively stablethroughout,except for an increase in luteinizing hormone(LH).These changes in semen parameters suggest that the policyadjustment had a short-to medium-term impact on male reproductive function.
