Hot deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of an Fe–30Cr–2Mo ultra-pure super ferritic stainless steel

The hot deformation behavior and microstructure evolution of an Fe–30Cr–2Mo ultra-pure super ferritic stainless steel were investigated at the temperature range of 950–1150℃ and strain rate varying from 0.01 to 10 s^(−1).A strain compensated constitutive equation based on the Arrhenius-type model was established to predict the flow stress.The hot processing map based on the dynamic materials model was achieved to identify the optimum processing parameters.In addition,the features of microstructure evolution combined with the processing map were systematically investigated.The experimental results revealed that the flow stress increased with decreasing deformation temperature or increasing strain rate.Dynamic recovery was confirmed to be the predominant softening mechanism.The values of flow stress predicted by the strain compensated constitutive equation agreed well with the experimental values.The extent of dynamic recrystallization and recrystallized grain size increased with increasing deformation temperature or decreasing strain rate,and the continuous dynamic recrystallization was attributed to be the predominant mechanism of recrystallization during hot deformation.The optimum hot working parameters were determined to be the deformation temperature of 1070–1150℃ and strain rate of 0.1–1 s^(−1) with a peak power dissipation efficiency of 42%.

Variational Gridded Graph Convolution Network for Node Classification

The existing graph convolution methods usually suffer high computational burdens,large memory requirements,and intractable batch-processing.In this paper,we propose a high-efficient variational gridded graph convolution network(VG-GCN)to encode non-regular graph data,which overcomes all these aforementioned problems.To capture graph topology structures efficiently,in the proposed framework,we propose a hierarchically-coarsened random walk(hcr-walk)by taking advantage of the classic random walk and node/edge encapsulation.The hcr-walk greatly mitigates the problem of exponentially explosive sampling times which occur in the classic version,while preserving graph structures well.To efficiently encode local hcr-walk around one reference node,we project hcrwalk into an ordered space to form image-like grid data,which favors those conventional convolution networks.Instead of the direct 2-D convolution filtering,a variational convolution block(VCB)is designed to model the distribution of the randomsampling hcr-walk inspired by the well-formulated variational inference.We experimentally validate the efficiency and effectiveness of our proposed VG-GCN,which has high computation speed,and the comparable or even better performance when compared with baseline GCNs.

Simulation and analysis of soil homogenization drills based on discrete element method and response surface methodology

Currently,rotary drilling is one of the main pieces of equipment used for in-situ remediation of contaminated soil.However,this equipment has problems such as uneven mixing and low utilization efficiency,which affect the efficiency of in-situ soil remediation.To improve the efficiency of in-situ soil remediation,this paper takes contaminated black soil as the research object,and the structural design of the new three-stage soil remediation auger is carried out based on SolidWorks.The mixing process of soil and heavy metal passivator under different motion and structural parameters was investigated by the discrete element method(DEM)and response surface methodology.The experimental design was based on rotational speed,homogenizing mixing time,crushing section pitch,and homogenizing section pitch as factors,and soil fragmentation ratio,the coefficient of dispersion,and torque as optimization indices.The kinematic and structural parameters of the three-stage auger drill bit were then optimized using the one-factor method,the orthogonal test,and the response surface methodology,respectively.The test method uses a one-way test to determine the central level value of the orthogonal test and a comprehensive balance method to determine the best combination of parameters for the orthogonal test,which is then used as the central value of the response surface test for parameter optimization.The optimal combinations of kinematic and structural parameters of the three-stage auger drill bit are determined and validated using response surface methodology.The optimum combination of parameters was found to be a speed of 129 rpm,a homogenizing mixing time of 24 s,a pitch of 165 mm in the crushing section,and a pitch of 132 mm in the homogenizing section.The error between the optimal value of the predicted model using the response surface method and the actual simulated value under the optimal parameters is 4.2%,4.9%,and 5.3%,respectively.The optimized factor parameters provide a reference for the design of the structural and kinem

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the protective effects of electroacupuncture and LGNHFD on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury, and their effects on the expression of cluster of differentiation 34(CD 34), vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF), and basic fibroblast growth factor(b FGF) in the peripheral tissue of the cerebral ischemic semi-dark zone in rats.The influence and mechanism of expression.METHODS: Healthy male Sprague-Dawley rats were randomly divided into the sham operation group, model group, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) group, electroacupuncture group, and acupuncture group. The cerebral ischemia model was prepared by middle artery occlusion. The electroacupuncture and TCM groups received electroacupuncture at the "Neiguan(PC6)", "Baihui(GV20)", and "Renzhong(GV26)" acupoints from 4 h after modeling, once daily for 14 d. After modeling,the acupuncture and TCM groups were administered LGNHFD once daily for 14 d. After treatment,the infarct volume and regional cerebral blood flow(r CBF) were measured in each group, the expression of CD34 in the surrounding ischemic penumbra was determined using immunohistochemistry,and the expression of angiogenesis-related factors in the ischemic hemisphere was detected by western blot.RESULTS: Compared with the sham operation group, r CBF was significantly decreased(P < 0.01)and cerebral infarction volume was significantly increased(P < 0.01) in the model group at four time points(5 min and 3, 7, and 14 d after modeling). At three postoperative time points(3, 7, and 14 d), the number of CD34 + cells in the model group were significantly increased(P < 0.01), and the relative expression levels of VEGF, b FGF, and CD34+ in the ischemic hemisphere were significantly increased(P < 0.01, P < 0.05). Compared with the model group, the r CBF of the acupuncture group was significantly increased at 3, 7, and 14 d after intervention(P < 0.01), while the r CBF of the electroacupuncture and TCM groups was significantly increased at 7 and 14 d after intervention(P < 0.01).After

Plants affect the horizontal transmission of a new densovirus infecting the green peach aphid Myzus persicae by modulating honeydew production

In a tritrophic context of plant-insect-entomopathogen,plants play important roles in modulating the interaction of insects and their pathogenic viruses.Currently,the influence of plants on the transmission of insect viruses has been mainly studied on baculoviruses and some RNA viruses,whereas the impact of plants on other insect viruses is largely unknown.Here,we identified a new densovirus infecting the green peach aphid Myzus persicae and tested whether and how host plants influence the transmission of the aphid densovirus.The complete single-stranded DNA genome of the virus,M.persicae densovirus 2,is 5727 nt and contains inverted terminal repeats.Transcription and phylogenetic analysis indicated that the virus was distinct from other a few identified aphid densoviruses.The virus abundance was detected highly in the intestinal tract of aphids,compared with the lower level of it in other tissues including head,embryo,and epidermis.Cabbage and pepper plants had no obvious effect on the vertical transmission and saliva-mediated horizontal transmission of the virus.However,the honeydew-mediated horizontal transmission among aphids highly depended on host plants(65%on cabbages versus 17%on peppers).Although the virus concentration in the honeydew produced by aphids between 2 plants was similar,the honeydew production of the infected aphids reared on peppers was dramatically reduced.Taken together,our results provide evidence that plants influence the horizontal transmission of a new densovirus in an aphid population by modulating honeydew secretion of aphids,suggesting plants may manipulate the spread of an aphid-pathogenic densovirus in nature.

Dataset of human motion status using IR-UWB through-wall radar

Ultra-wideband(UWB)through-wall radar has a wide range of applications in non-contact human information detection and monitoring.With the integration of machine learning technology,its potential prospects include the physiological monitoring of patients in the hospital environment and the daily monitoring at home.Although many target detection methods of UWB through-wall radar based on machine learning have been proposed,there is a lack of an opensource dataset to evaluate the performance of the algorithm.This published dataset is measured by impulse radio UWB(IR-UWB)through-wall radar system.Three test subjects are measured in different environments and several defined motion status.Using the presented dataset,we propose a human-motion-status recognition method using a convolutional neural network(CNN),and the detailed dataset partition method and the recognition process flow are given.On the well-trained network,the recognition accuracy of testing data for three kinds of motion status is higher than 99.7%.The dataset presented in this paper considers a simple environment.Therefore,we call on all organizations in the UWB radar field to cooperate to build opensource datasets to further promote the development of UWB through-wall radar.

A weighted block cooperative sparse representation algorithm based on visual saliency dictionary

Unconstrained face images are interfered by many factors such as illumination,posture,expression,occlusion,age,accessories and so on,resulting in the randomness of the noise pollution implied in the original samples.In order to improve the sample quality,a weighted block cooperative sparse representation algorithm is proposed based on visual saliency dictionary.First,the algorithm uses the biological visual attention mechanism to quickly and accurately obtain the face salient target and constructs the visual salient dictionary.Then,a block cooperation framework is presented to perform sparse coding for different local structures of human face,and the weighted regular term is introduced in the sparse representation process to enhance the identification of information hidden in the coding coefficients.Finally,by synthesising the sparse representation results of all visual salient block dictionaries,the global coding residual is obtained and the class label is given.The experimental results on four databases,that is,AR,extended Yale B,LFW and PubFig,indicate that the combination of visual saliency dictionary,block cooperative sparse representation and weighted constraint coding can effectively enhance the accuracy of sparse representation of the samples to be tested and improve the performance of unconstrained face recognition.

Graduate education is the main way to train high-level innovative talents,the basic layout to cope with the global talent competition,and the important cornerstone for implementing the innovation-driven development strategy and building an innovation-driven country.Therefore,graduate education is of great remarkably to the development of national education.As an important manifestation of graduate education,the quality of a graduate thesis should receive more attention.It is conducive to promoting the quality of graduates by supervising and examining the quality of the graduate thesis.For this purpose,this work is based on textmining,expert interviews,and questionnaire surveys to obtain the factors influencing the quality of a graduate thesis first.Then,through three rounds of expert consultation,a multidimensional evaluation indicator system for the graduate thesis quality is built.Furthermore,probabilistic linguistic termsets(PLTSs)are utilized to obtain the initial evaluation information and apply the stepwise weight assessment ratio analysis method to determine the weights of attributes.In the ensuing step,the novel multi-attribute border approximation area comparison based on the PLTS method is established.Finally,the proposed method is employed in a case study concerning the quality evaluation of a graduate thesis and the effectiveness of this approach is further illustrated.

Measurements of plasma density profile evolutions with a channel-guided laser

The discharged capillary plasma channel has been extensively studied as a high-gradient particle acceleration and transmission medium.A novel measurement method of plasma channel density profiles has been employed,where the role of plasma channels guiding the advantages of lasers has shown strong appeal.Here,we have studied the high-order transverse plasma density profile distribution using a channel-guided laser,and made detailed measurements of its evolution under various parameters.The paraxial wave equation in a plasma channel with high-order density profile components is analyzed,and the approximate propagation process based on the Gaussian profile laser is obtained on this basis,which agrees well with the simulation under phase conditions.In the experiments,by measuring the integrated transverse laser intensities at the outlet of the channels,the radial quartic density profiles of the plasma channels have been obtained.By precisely synchronizing the detection laser pulses and the plasma channels at various moments,the reconstructed density profile shows an evolution from the radial quartic profile to the quasi-parabolic profile,and the high-order component is indicated as an exponential decline tendency over time.Factors affecting the evolution rate were investigated by varying the incentive source and capillary parameters.It can be found that the discharge voltages and currents are positive factors quickening the evolution,while the electron-ion heating,capillary radii and pressures are negative ones.One plausible explanation is that quartic profile contributions may be linked to plasma heating.This work helps one to understand the mechanisms of the formation,the evolutions of the guiding channel electron-density profiles and their dependences on the external controllable parameters.It provides support and reflection for physical research on discharged capillary plasma and optimizing plasma channels in various applications.

High-performance self-powered ultraviolet photodetector in SnO_(2)microwire/p-GaN heterojunction using graphene as charge collection medium

Graphene monolayer has been extensively applied as a transparency electrode material in photoelectronic devices due to its high transmittance,high carrier mobility,and ultrafast carrier dynamics.In this study,a high-performance self-powered photodetector,which is made of a SnO_(2)microwire,p-type GaN film,and monolayer graphene transparent electrode,was proposed and fabricated.The detector is sensitive to ultraviolet light signals and illustrates pronounced detection performances,including a peak respon-sivity∼223.7 mA W^(-1),a detectivity∼6.9×10^(12)Jones,fast response speed(rising/decaying times∼18/580μs),and excellent external quantum efficiency∼77%at 360 nm light illumination without exter-nal power supply.Compared with the pristine SnO_(2)/GaN photodetector using ITO electrode,the device performances of responsivity and detectivity are significantly increased over 6×10^(3)%and 3×10^(3)%,respectively.The performance-enhanced characteristics are mainly attributed to the high-quality het-erointerface of n-SnO_(2)/p-GaN,the highly conductive capacity,and the unique transparency of graphene electrodes.Particularly,the built-in potential formed at the SnO_(2)/GaN heterojunction interface could be strengthened by the Schottky potential barrier derived from the graphene electrode and SnO_(2)wire,en-hancing the carrier collection efficiency through graphene as a charge collection medium.This work is of great importance and significance to developing excellent-performance ultraviolet photodetectors for photovoltaic and optoelectronic applications in a self-powered operation manner.
