固氮鱼腥藻作为光能自养型微生物,具备良好的碳氮固存能力。施加固氮鱼腥藻能够提升土壤肥力并减少化肥施用量。然而,解析固氮鱼腥藻在土壤中的碳氮固存机制以及不同菌株固存效率差异仍有待深入研究。因此,从单细胞水平对土壤固氮鱼腥藻菌株进行筛选和碳氮固存过程的研究至关重要。针对固氮鱼腥藻在单细胞水平上发生的复杂而动态的元素变化过程,本研究综述了土壤固氮鱼腥藻碳氮固存过程,并探讨了利用纳米二次离子质谱法与稳定同位素标记结合(nano-secondary ion mass spectrometry-stable isotopic probing,NanoSIMS-SIP)技术和拉曼光谱成像与稳定同位素标记结合(Raman spectroscopy imaging-stable isotopic probing,Raman-SIP)技术解析单细胞水平上的碳氮元素的时空分布的原理、进展与难点。重点关注了单细胞稳定同位素技术定量可视化固氮鱼腥藻碳氮固存的最新技术发展与应用。同时,对该类可视化技术的未来研究进行了展望。本研究对于理解固氮鱼腥藻在土壤中的碳氮固存机制和固氮效率差异具有重要的科学意义,为农业生产中减少化肥使用、提高土壤肥力提供理论依据。

Thermal desorption(TD)is a mainstream technology for the remediation of organic compound-contaminated soil.By reviewing the domestic and foreign research on the remediation of organic compound-contaminated soil by TD,this paper systematically introduces the principle,characteristics,and classification of TD.The impact of key operating parameters(such as heating temperature and heating time),certain physical and chemical properties(such as soil texture,moisture content),and external conditions(such as additives and the carrier gas)on the TD process is summarized.Next,pollutants’migration and their transformation processes,as well as the laws governing the TD process,are briefly described.Finally,the prospects of TD,in terms of its future research and development directions,are described,with the aim of providing references for the application and promotion of TD.

Clinical features of progressive supranuclear palsy in 105 Chinese patients

OBJECTIVE： To thoroughly investigate clinical characteristics of progressive supranuclear palsy （PSP） in a Chinese population. METHODS： Computer-based online searches through China National Knowledge Infrastructure and Weipu Periodical Database were performed to collect case reports of PSP published between 1980 and 2009. Clinical characteristics were analyzed. RESULTS： A total of 58 studies comprising 105 patients （76 males and 29 females） were included. All cases were sporadic and free of family history. The mean age at onset was 60.6 _＋ 9.1 years, and the mean course from onset of symptoms to diagnosis was 3.4 ＋ 2.4 years. The male-to-female ratio was approximately 3： 1. Onset was characterized by akinetic-dgid features and accounted for 34.3% of all cases, followed by early postural instability （25.5%）, pseudobulbar palsy （9.8%）, cognitive impairment （9.8%）, and vertical supranuclear ophthalmoplegia （7.8%）. With disease progression, vertical supranuclear ophthalmoplegia was reported in 95.1% of cases, followed by akinetic-rigid features （83.3%）, pseudobulbar palsy （82.4%）, axial dystonia （75.5%）, cognitive impairment （72.5%）, and early postural instability （69.6%）. A total of 70.5% of patients exhibited abnormal electroencephalograms, and 21.4% exhibited mild abnormalities in cerebrospinal fluid. Brain CT scanning results of 37 patients showed 37.8% with midbrain and concurrent cerebral hemisphere atrophy, and 5.4% and 24.3% with midbrain and cerebral hemisphere atrophy, respectively. Brain MRI scanning results of 55 patients revealed a total of 16.4% patients with midbrain atrophy, 23.6% with midbrain and concurrent cerebral hemisphere atrophy, 32.7% with cerebral hemisphere atrophy, and 11% with brainstem atrophy. The percentage of midbrain atrophy revealed by MRI was greater than by CT. All 11 patients subjected to Mini-Mental State Examination scored 〈 23. Physical-layer network coding （PNC） has the potential to significantly improve the throughput of wireless networks where the channels can be modeled as additive white Gaussian noise （AWGN） channel. As extending to mul- tiple channels, this technique requires both amplitude and phase compensation at each transmitter and will lead to inef- ficient systems yielding no diversity even with perfect channel state information （CSI）. In order to avoid these limita- tions, we apply network coding with diversity （NCD） to achieve a form of selection diversity and extend NCD to coop- erative multiple access channels in this paper. However, in practical wireless communication systems, the CSI could become outdated due to the difference between the CSI used in the relay selection and data transmission phases. Hence, the selected relay may not be the best one during data transmission phase due to the dynamic change in the wireless channels. Therefore, we first explore the relation between the present and past CSIs. Exploiting this relationship, the NCD scheme with outdated CSI is investigated based on the past CSI. To evaluate the performance of this scheme, an information-theoretic metric, namely the outage capacity, is studied under this condition.

The National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China (NHC) made a revision on the original version of the Regulation on the Clinical Application of Medical Technology in November 2018.[1] According to the new policy,medical institutions are endowed with the primary responsibility for the management of medical technology.This study aimed to investigate into the development and evolution of policy reform to explore the changes in the concepts and ideas of medical technology management in Chinese medical institutions.

Systematic Analysis of 42 Autographa Californica Multiple Nucleopolyhedrovirus Genes Identifies An Additional Six Genes Involved in the Production of Infectious Budded Virus

Baculoviruses have been widely used as a vector for expressing foreign genes.Among numerous baculoviruses,Autographa californica multiple nucleopolyhedrovirus(AcMNPV)is the most frequently used and it encodes 155 open reading frames(ORFs).Here,we systematically investigated the impact of 42 genes of AcMNPV on the production of infectious budded viruses(BVs)by constructing gene-knockout bacmids and subsequently conducting transfection and infection assays.The results showed that among the 39 functionally unverified genes and 3 recently reported genes,36 are dispensable for infectious BV production,as the one-step growth curves of the gene-knockout viruses were not significantly different from those of the parental virus.Three genes(ac62,ac82 and ac106/107)are essential for infectious BV production,as deletions thereof resulted in complete loss of infectivity while the repaired viruses showed no significant difference in comparison to the parental virus.In addition,three genes(ac13,ac51 and ac120)are important but not essential for infectious BV production,as gene-knockout viruses produced significantly lower BV levels than that of the parental virus or repaired viruses.We then grouped the 155 AcMNPV genes into three categories(Dispensable,Essential,or Important for infectious BV production).Based on our results and previous publications,we constructed a schematic diagram of a potential mini-genome of AcMNPV,which contains only essential and important genes.The results shed light on our understanding of functional genomics of baculoviruses and provide fundamental information for future engineering of baculovirus expression system.

The crystallization and melting behavior of polymers is of theoretical importance.In this work,poly(butylene succinate)(PBS)was selected as an example to study such behavior at low supercooling via introduction of the extended-chain crystal(ECC)of the same polymer as nucleating agent.The crystallization of PBS with its ECC as nucleating agent in a wide temperature range(90–127°C)and the following melting behavior were studied.It is revealed that the melting point(Tm',for Tc≥113°C)and the annealing peak temperature(Ta',for Tc=90–100°C)show similar asymptotic behavior.Both Tm and Ta approach to a value of ca.3.3°C higher than the corresponding Tc when the crystallization time tc approaches the starting point.That is to say,the Hoffman-Weeks plot is parallel to Tm=Tc line.The crystallization line became parallel to the melting line when PBS was crystallized at Tc higher than 102°C.Based on these results,we propose that the parallel relationship and the intrinsic similarity between the Ta and the Tm observed at the two ends of the Tc range could be attributed to the metastable crystals formed at the beginning of crystallization.

Functional identification of the terpene synthase family involved in diterpenoid alkaloids biosynthesis in Aconitum carmichaelii

Aconitum carmichaelii is a high-value medicinal herb widely used across China,Japan,and other Asian countries.Aconitine-type diterpene alkaloids(DAs)are the characteristic compounds in Aconitum.Although six transcriptomes,based on short-read next generation sequencing technology,have been reported from the Aconitum species,the terpene synthase(TPS)corresponding to DAs biosynthesis remains unidentified.We apply a combination of Pacbio isoform sequencing and RNA sequencing to provide a comprehensive view of the A.carmichaelii transcriptome.Nineteen TPSs and five alternative splicing isoforms belonging to TPS-b,TPS-c,and TPS-e/f subfamilies were identified.In vitro enzyme reaction analysis functional identified two sesqui-TPSs and twelve di TPSs.Seven of the TPS-c subfamily genes reacted with GGPP to produce the intermediate ent-copalyl diphosphate.Five Ac KSLs separately reacted with ent-CPP to produce ent-kaurene,ent-atiserene,and ent-13-epi-sandaracopimaradie:a new diterpene found in Aconitum.Ac TPSs gene expression in conjunction DAs content analysis in different tissues validated that ent-CPP is the sole precursor to all DAs biosynthesis,with Ac KSL1,Ac KSL2 s and Ac KSL3-1 responsible for C20 atisine and napelline type DAs biosynthesis,respectively.These data clarified the molecular basis for the C20-DAs biosynthetic pathway in A.carmichaelii and pave the way for further exploration of C19-DAs biosynthesis in the Aconitum species.

Background：Inflammation plays a pivotal role in the formation and progression of ischemic stroke.Recently,more and more epidemiological studies have focused on the association between C-reactive protein （CRP）-717A 〉 G and-286C 〉 T 〉 A genetic polymorphisms and ischemic stroke.However,the findings of these researches are not conclusive.Methods：We performed a meta-analysis to determine whether these two polymorphisms are associated with the risk of ischemic stroke.Eligible studies were identified from the database of PubMed,Medline,Embase,Web of Science,CNKI,Weipu,and Wanfang.We calculated odds ratios （ORs） with 95% confidence intervals （CIs） to assess the strength of the association.Results：Four articles were included in our study,including 1926 cases and 2678 controls for-717A 〉 G polymorphism,652 cases and 1103 controls for-286C 〉 T 〉 A polymorphism.The results of meta-analysis showed that single nucleotide polymorphism （SNP）-717A 〉 G was not significantly associated with the risk of ischemic stroke （GG vs.AA,OR =1.12,95% CI =0.83-1.50,P =0.207;GG ＋ GA vs.AA,OR =1.04,95% CI =0.93-1.17,P =0.533;GG vs.GA ＋ AA,OR =1.10,95% CI =0.82-1.47,P =0.220）.Meta-analysis of SNP-286C 〉 T 〉 A also demonstrated no statistical evidence of a significant association with the risk of ischemic stroke （AA vs.CC,OR =0.86,95% CI =0.59-1.25,P =0.348;AA vs.CC,OR =0.92,95% CI =0.80-1.06,P =0.609;AA vs.CC,OR =0.89,95% CI =0.62-1.30,P =0.374）.Conclusions：This meta-analysis demonstrated little evidence to support a role of CRP gene-717A 〉 G,-286C 〉 T 〉 A polymorphisms in ischemic stroke predisposition.However,to draw comprehensive and more reliable conclusions,further larger studies are needed to validate the association between CRP gene polymorphisms and ischemic stroke in various ethnic groups.
