A thrust-fold belt consisting of a series of thrusts and buckling folds developed in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic strata within the Kuqa Depression,Tarim *** this study,a structural interpretation model of the Kuqa Depression is established and the Mesozoic proto-basin is reconstructed on the basis of outcrop geology along the basin margin,seismic,well-log and CEMP *** model is called‘delaminate contractional deformation',which emphasizes the decoupling between the Cenozoic,Mesozoic,pre-Mesozoic and the basin-basement within the Kuqa Depression,but there is no unified *** model has a shortening amount ranging from 12 km to 16 km and the depth involved in contractional deformation ranges from 21 km to 28 km.A prototype of the Mesozoic basin reconstructed by interpretation model is a subbasin superposed on the transitional zone between the uplift at the northern edge of the Tarim Craton and the southern Tianshan orogenic wedge formed in the Hercynian *** thermal and crustal isostatic activity after the Hercynian orogeny maybe the controlling dynamic factors of basin subsidence during the Mesozoic and early Cenozoic,the difference in rock mechanical properties between different levels,craton and orogenic wedge being the major cause of the‘delaminate contractional deformation'during the Himalayan orogeny.

Elemental doping is an effective strategy to enhance photocatalytic activity and extend the light absorption range of single-component *** this work,a series of La-doped CeO_(2) nanorods(La-CeO_(2)-x) with La content of 1 wt%-15 wt% are synthesized by a simple hydrothermal method and further used as photocatalyst for sulfamerazine(SMR) *** prepared La-CeO_(2)-x nanorods exhibit a great improvement in electron-hole pair migration and visible-light response due to the synergistic effect of abundant oxygen vacancies and heterogeneous elements(La).Consequently,La-CeO_(2)-x exhibited excellent visible-light photocatalytic performances and chemical stability for SMR degradation,the La-CeO_(2)-5 sample achieved the highest SMR degradation rate of 81%,which was 3.4 times higher than that of the original CeO_(2).Furthermore,three possible degradation pathways of SMR in La-CeO_(2) photocatalytic reactions were proposed by liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry ***,density functional theory calculations were carried out to provide an in-depth understanding of the structure-performance *** its excellent properties and better photocatalytic performance,this study demonstrates that La doping in CeO_(2) is an effective way to increase oxygen vacancy and improve the photochemical properties of photocatalysts.

The gene hNGFB encoding the β subunit of human nerve growth factor (hNGF) was cloned into P. pastoris secretive expression vector pHIL-S1 and E. coli expression vector pET-15b. The recombinant hNGFB vectors pSNGF and pET15b-NGF were transformed into P. pastoris host cell GS115 (Mut^+ , His^- ) and E. coli strain BL21 (DE3) respectively. Expression and secretion of hNGFB in *** was attempted under the direction of the AOX1 promoter and PHO1 signal sequence. The positive colonies growing on medium without histidine were further selected by PCR. The yield of rehNGFB in GS115 was about 14.4% of total cellular secretive protein. The secreted protein was immunological active on Western blotting with rabbit anti-mNGFB antibodies. The fusion protein yield of rehNGFB in E. coli BL21 (DE3) was about 10.3% of total cellular protein after IPTG induction. Western blot detection showed its immunological activity.

Numerical analysis of landslide-generated debris flow on July 3, 2021 in Izu Mountain area, Shizuoka County, Japan

With the increasing of extreme rainfall frequency, landslides accompanied by mudslides often lead to serious casualties and property damage. On 3rd July 2021, a debris flow occurred in Izu Mountain area, Shizuoka County, Japan, and then resulted in 26 deaths and 131 houses destroyed, where houses were mainly built along the banks of the creek. In order to analyse the landslide state and distribution, a two-dimensional debris flow dynamic model(Massflow) was selected to simulate the process of the landslide-generated debris flow. When the model results are considered together with remote sensing images, the volume distribution of the unstable landslide is also able to be determined. The results show that(1) the affected areas are mainly concentrated at the outfall of the gully and on both sides of the streets.(2) The pore pressure ratio is an important factor affecting the damage range of this debris flow.(3) The increase of the pore pressure ratio in the landslide make the movement distance of debris flow increase significantly.

The A. awamori glucoamylase I gene was obtained by RT_PCR and inserted into the plasmid pAC1. We constructed an expression vector pAC1_GA, which was used to transform the yeast S. cerevisiae AS 2 1364 without auxotrophic marker. The transformant secreted glucoamylase into the medium efficiently and degraded starch. The glucoamylase activity of the culture filtrate is up to 8 4 U/mL.

The mathematical system is formulated by four partial differential equations combined with initial- boundary value conditions to describe transient behavior of three-dimensional semiconductor device with heat conduction. The first equation of an elliptic type is defined with respect to the electric potential, the successive two equations of convection dominated diffusion type are given to define the electron concentration and the hole concentration, and the fourth equation of heat conductor is for the temperature. The electric potential appears in the equations of electron concentration, hole concentration and the temperature in the formation of the intensity. A mass conservative numerical approximation of the electric potential is presented by using the mixed finite volume element, and the accuracy of computation of the electric intensity is improved one order. The method of characteristic fractional step difference is applied to discretize the other three equations, where the hyperbolic terms are approximated by a difference quotient in the characteristics and the diffusion terms are discretized by the method of fractional step difference. The computation of three-dimensional problem works efficiently by dividing it into three one-dimensional subproblems and every subproblem is solved by the method of speedup in parallel. Using a pair of different grids （coarse partition and refined partition）, piecewise threefold quadratic interpolation, variation theory, multiplicative commutation rule of differential operators, mathematical induction and priori estimates theory and special technique of differential equations, we derive an optimal second order estimate in L2-norm. This numerical method is valuable in the simulation of semiconductor device theoretically and actually, and gives a powerful tool to solve the international problem presented by J. Douglas, Jr.

The aggregation of inorganic particles with high mass ratio will form a heterogeneous electric field in the solid polymer electrolytes(SPEs),which is difficult to be compatible with lithium anode,leading to inadequate ionic ***,a facile spray drying method is adopted to increase the mass ratio of inorganic particles and solve the aggregation problems of fillers *** polyvinylidene fluoride(PVDF)with lithium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide(LiTFSI)covers the surface of each Li_(6.4)La_(3)Zr_(1.4)Ta_(0.6)O_(12)(LLZTO)granules during the nebulization process,then forming flat solid electrolytes via layer-by-layer *** by the atomic force microscope,the obtained solid electrolytes achieve a homogenous dispersion of Young’s modulus and surface electric *** a result,the as-prepared SPEs present high tensile strength of 7.1 MPa,high ionic conductivity of 1.86×10^(−4)S·cm^(−1)at room temperature,and wide electrochemical window up to 5.0 V,demonstrating increased mechanical strength and uniform lithium-ion migration channels for *** to the as-prepared SPEs,the lithiumsymmetrical cells show a highly stable Li plating/stripping cycling for over 1,000 h at 0.1 mA·cm^(−2).The corresponding Li/LCoO_(2)batteries also present good rate capability and excellent cyclic performance with capacity retention of 80%after 100 cycles at room temperature.

In this work,high strength and ductile Al_(0.5)Cr_(0.8)CoFeNi_(2.5)V_(0.2) high-entropy alloys(HEAs)were fabricated by the selective laser melting(SLM)*** orthogonal experiments,it was verified that a wide SLM processing parameter window can be used to produce crack-free samples for the investigated *** the printed HEA samples exhibit good densification higher than 98.3%.It was found that obvious epitaxial growth leads to the formation of the cylindrical and equiaxed ordered face-centered cubic(FCC)crystals,displaying the characteristics of sub-cylindrical and sub-cellular *** low-angle grain boundaries(LAGBs)prefer appearing around subgrain structures,while the high-angle grain boundaries(HAGBs)tend to form around coarse *** HEA samples with high and low apparent densities were selected to observe their mechanical properties,which exhibit Vickers hardness higher than 263 HV and do not fail during *** increasing densification,the strength gradually *** to the engineering stress–strain curves during compression,the yield strength is higher than 530 MPa,while the strength near 40%engineering strain is larger than 1840 *** deformation,a large density of dislocations becomes popular within subgrain structures together with the pre-existing dislocations from rapid solidification,leading to the formation of planar and cross slip *** coarse cylindrical crystals,some deformation twins are also induced together with the appearance of a distinct copper-type texture during *** a result,the as-printed samples display better mechanical properties than the as-cast *** present studies provide a very good HEA candidate for the SLM process,but more work should be conducted to achieve excellent comprehensive properties.

Scanning electrochemical microscopy(SECM)is an attractive technology to in-situ characterize the structural evolution and catalytic performance for various ***,spatial and temporal resolution coupling are still the obstacles that limit its wide ***,a new operation mode,Fast Scan mode,was developed by improving the dual-pass scan mode,designing novel hardware structure,and employing thermal drift calibration software to achieve a high spatial and temporal resolution *** temporal speed can achieve 4 Hz for a high spatial resolution(less than 30 nm)*** operation mode was employed to dynamically track the phase transition process of molybdenum disulfide(MoS_(2))over time and characterize the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)catalytic activity on the edge of semiconducting MoS_(2)quantitatively while minimizing the diffusional broadening effect and total amount of catalytic products generated above the *** new approach should be useful for in-situ tracking dynamic electrochemical processes,establishing the structure-activity relationship for structural complex electrocatalysts,and offering a strategy for high-speed scanning with other electrochemical imaging techniques.
