The inverse and direct piezoelectric and circuit coupling are widely observed in advanced electro-mechanical systems such as piezoelectric energy *** strongly coupled analysis methods based on direct numerical modeling for this phenomenon can be classified into partitioned or monolithic *** formulation has its advantages and disadvantages,and the choice depends on the characteristics of each coupled *** study proposes a new option:a coupled analysis strategy that combines the best features of the existing formulations,namely,the hybrid partitioned-monolithic *** analysis of inverse piezoelectricity and the monolithic analysis of direct piezoelectric and circuit interaction are strongly coupled using a partitioned iterative hierarchical *** a typical benchmark problem of a piezoelectric energy harvester,this research compares the results from the proposed method to those from the conventional strongly coupled partitioned iterative method,discussing the accuracy,stability,and computational *** proposed hybrid concept is effective for coupled multi-physics problems,including various coupling conditions.

The pinning of quantized magnetic vortices in superconducting YBa_(2)Cu_(3)O_(7-δ)(YBCO or Y123)thin films with Y_(2)BaCuO_(5)(Y211)nanoinclusions have been investigated over wide temperature range(4.2-77 K).The concentration of Y211 nanoinclusions has been systematically varied inside YBCO thin films prepared by laser ablation technique using surface modified target *** pinning force density values(Fp∼0.5 TNm^(−3)at 4.2 K,9 T)have been observed for the YBCO film with moderate concentration of Y211 nanoinclusions(3.6 area%on ablation target).In addition,uniform enhancement in critical current density(J_(c))was observed in the angular dependent J_(c)measurement of YBCO+Y211 nanocomposite films.Y211 nanoinclusions have been found to be very efficient in pinning the quantized vortices thereby enhancing the in‐field J_(c)values over a wide range of *** the concentration of Y211 secondary phase into Y123 film matrix results into agglomeration of Y211 phase and observed as increased Y211 nanoparticle *** larger secondary phase nanoparticles are not as efficient pinning centers at lower temperatures as they are at higher temperatures due to substantial reduction of the coherence length at lower *** of the temperature dependence of J_(c)for YBCO+Y211 nanocomposite films has been conducted and possible vortex pinning mechanism in these nanocomposite films has been discussed.

Background and Aims:The clinical introduction of hepcidin25(Hep25)has led to a more detailed understanding of its relationship with ferroportin(FP)and divalent metal transporter1 in primary iron overload syndromes(PIOSs).In 2012,we proposed a classification of PIOSs based on the Hep25/FP system,which consists of prehepatic aceruloplasminemia,hepatic hemochromatosis(HC),and posthepatic FP disease(FP-D).However,in consideration of accumulated evidence on PIOSs,we aimed to renew the ***:We reviewed the 2012 classification and retrospectively renewed it according to new information on ***:Iron-loading anemia was included in PIOSs as a prehepatic form because of the newly discovered erythroferrone-induced suppression of Hep25,and the state of traditional FP-D was remodeled as the BIOIRON *** key molecules responsible for prehepatic PIOSs are low transferrin saturation in aceruloplasminemia and increased erythroferrone production by erythroblasts in iron-loading *** PIOSs comprise four genotypes of HC,in each of which the synthesis of Hep25 is inappropriately reduced in the *** Hep25 synthesis is adequate in posthepatic PIOSs;however,two mutant FP molecules may resist Hep25 differently,resulting in SLC40A1-HC and FP-D,*** phenotypes are diagnosed using laboratory tests,including circulating Hep25,followed by suitable *** sequencing of the candidate genes may be outsourced to gene centers when *** kits for the prevalent mutations,such as C282Y,may be the first choice for a genetic analysis of HC in ***:The revised classification may be useful worldwide.

This study aimed to identify the reasons for transferring athletes to local medical facilities during the Olympic and Paralympic *** on 567 injuries and other illnesses of athletes treated at the on-site clinics were collected from the Tokyo 2020 Organizing *** these,84 athletes who required outpatient care during the Games were registered for this *** the Olympic and Paralympic Games,66(8.3/1000)and 18(7.2/1000)athletes,respectively,consulted external medical *** the Olympic Games,the reasons for these visits included 48 cases(72.7%)of injuries,13(19.7%)cases of illnesses,and 5(7.6%)cases of heat stroke illness(HSI).Of these patients,56(84.9%)were treated as outpatients and 10(15.1%)were hospitalized,while three of these patients required hospitalization for>7 *** the other hand,in the Paralympics Games,there were 7(38.8%)cases of injuries,9(50.0%)other illnesses,1(5.6%)case of HSI,and 1(5.6%)other cases,of which 11(61.1%)were treated as outpatients and 7(38.9%)were hospitalized,but none was hospitalized for>7 *** accounted for 70%of the total cases at the 2021 Olympic Games,but only three(0.05%)were severe cases that required hospitalization for more than 1 *** contrast,in the Paralympic Games,other illnesses accounted for approximately half of the total *** study provides details on the extent of injuries and other illnesses that were transferred to outside facilities,which has not been documented in previous games.

To the Editor,Considerable numbers of cases of lung adenocarcinoma(LUAD)in non-smokers with unclear etiology have been *** and bacterial infections are the common causes of lung and respiratory diseases.1 However,whether LUAD development coexists with virus infection is still *** staining and polymerase chain reaction(PCR)are often used to detect virus in blood,sputum,and alveolar lavage fluid ***-genome sequencing(WGS)is an unbiased method with a high throughput nature that can be applied for a broader assessment of *** studies described the viral landscape in pan-cancer in The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)or cohort studies;however,these studies did not include Asian ***,we sought to screen the common viral pathogens in a nationwide cohort of LUAD patients in China and further explored other potential viral pathogens by analyzing the WGS data from our single-center cohort.2 To systematically investigate the viral associations with LUAD in China,we conducted a comprehensive study that included two distinct cohorts.

A series of model polymerization are carried out via the one-pot externally initiated Kumada catalyst-transfer polycondensation （KCTP） of 2-bromo-5-chloromagne- slum thiophene monomers, and the excess amount of initiators or catalysts are found no need to be isolated during the polycondensation process. Especially, the impacts of the nickel catalyst loading variation on regioregularity （rr）, yield, molecular weight （Mn）, polydispersity （PDI） and initiation efficiency of poly（3-hexylthiophene）（P3HT） are systematically investigated. The IH NMR, size-exclusion chromatography （SEC）, and MALDI-TOF mass spectroscopy results indicated that an excess amount of catalyst does not influence yield, rr, Mn, and PDI of P3HT, nor the initiation efficiency. However, the PDI of the product is broad, and the Mn and rr values decreased in the absence of 1,3-bis （diphenylphosphino）propane （dppp）. It can be concluded that the in-situ KCTP polymerization of P3HT is a practical and effective process. These results are especially valuable for the synthesis of all-conjugated block copolymers where macroinitiators are used.

We have fabricated low-temperature grown GaAs(LT-GaAs)-based plasmonic photoconductive antennas by RF sputtering of Au nanoparticles and have evaluated their terahertz detection *** surface plasmon resonance enhances the electric fields near the surface and increases the optical absorption of *** resonance frequency depends on the density of electrons,the effective electron mass,and the size and shape of the ***,we tried to develop a high-sensitivity LT-GaAs photoconductive detector(PCD),which is effective over a wide range of wavelengths,by RF sputtering of Au nano-islands with a variety of aspect ratios from 1.2 to 5.1 on the dipole gap region of the *** a result,we succeeded in increasing the sensitivity by 29%and 40%in the amplitude of observed terahertz pulse for 800 nm and 1560 nm femtosecond laser excitations,respectively.
