The scientific interest in capsules with the shell composed of fused microparticles is still growing due to a large number of practical ***-designed capsules should ensure the safe cargo delivery and facilitate its controlled release on *** biocompatibility and biodegradability are additional essential features of structures intended for biomedical *** paper presents two kinds of ultrasound sensitive capsules:the first type with the homogeneous shell made of a monolayer of fine turmeric granules,and the other with Janus shell composed of two different materials *** granules and synthetic polystyrene *** demonstrated that plane ultrasonic waves with low intensity and high frequency and also focused ultrasound can act as a trigger for smooth liberation of a liquid cargo,in our case,the dispersion of probiotic *** ultrasound-induced puncture of the shell was followed by unidirectional and controlled release of encapsulated *** case of Janus structures,in addition to sonication time and ultrasound frequency,distinct mechanical properties of two shell regions also influenced the course of content liberation *** expect that the use of natural material such as turmeric granules for the formation of the shells of the ultrasound-responsive capsules can further increase the range of their potential applications.

The influence of stress and friction conditions on material flow during longitudinal cold rolling of a shaft was investigated. The longitudinal cold rolling method makes it possible to form and finish-up machine parts in the rolling process, which is associated with strengthening of the material due to cold work. The experiments were car- ried out in order to determine the pressure force at the stage of squeezing on shafts formed by longitudinal cold roll- ing and made of constructional unalloyed steels S235JR and C45. The experimental results were compared with nu merieal simulation results obtained by using the MSC. Marc 2010 based on finite element method （FEM）. The influ- ence of deformation degree on structural changes and the increase of material strength are shown.

Assessing hydrological consequences of climate change at the catchment scale is recently among key problems in *** study focuses on the estimation of changes in the hydrological regime in the Fuglebekken catchment in SW Spitsbergen(Svalbard).For this purpose,50 rainfll-runoff models were calibrated using available hydrometeorological *** models were validated based on archival flow and SWE observations,and proxy data from time-lapse *** models(FLEX-IS,GSM-SOCONT,PRMS,HBV,Nordic HBV,and GR4J)with the best performance were applied to reconstruct the past hydrological conditions and analyse the trends in flow regime in the period *** significant changes at 0.05 level in the flow regime indicators were detected,including the number of days with the active flow during the calendar year(10.8 d per decade),during the mid-May-November period(9.8 d per decade),the date of the first day with the flow(-4.7 d per decade),and the last day with the flow during mid-May-November(8.4 d per decade).A statistically significant increase in runoff was estimated for two periods from mid-May to the end of June and the second part of August till *** changes in the first period result from increases in air temperature and earlier snowmelt-driven *** estimated runoff increase in the second period corresponds to large increases in *** increase in air temperature,earlier disappearance of snow,and decrease in precipitation in July and the first part of August result in runoff *** presented results show that the Fuglebekken‘catchment's hydrological regime has already *** magnitude of the changes is larger compared to catchments located in lower latitudes.

The case study describes longwall coal seam A in a hard coal mine,where longwall coal face stability loss and periodic roof fall occurrences had been *** authors have attempted to explain the situation based on in-situ measurements and observations of the longwall working as well as numerical *** calculations included several parameters,such as powered roof support geometry in the form of the canopy ratio,which is a factor that influences load distribution along the *** simulations were realized based on a rock mass model representing realistic mining and geological conditions at a depth of 600 m below surface for coal seam *** model assumptions are described,while the obtained results were compared with the in-situ *** conclusions drawn from this work can complement engineering knowledge utilized at the stage of powered roof support construction and selection in order to improve both personnel safety and longwall working stability,and to achieve better extraction.

For the manufacture of working parts of agricultural tools operating in soil,various structural materials are used:alloy and low-alloy steels,weld materials for hardfacing,and plates made from *** design new construction solutions to obtain components that are resistant to abrasive wear and *** components are subject to wear during soil cultivation,due to which wear products remain in the *** this work,the mass of chemical elements remaining in soil from materials used in selected working parts of agricultural tools intended for soil cultivation was *** the operation of the tested parts,it was found that the following elements were introduced into the soil:Al,B,C,Co,Cr,Cu,Fe,Mo,Nb,Ni,P,Pb,S,Si,Ti,V,Wand *** was introduced into the soil in the highest amount(15.907e222.004 g∙ha-1).Among the chemical elements reaching the soil,there were also elements that may pose a toxicological *** was found that the mass of chemical elements introduced into the soil depends on their content in the used structural materials and also on the conditions of cultivation,which determine the wear intensity of the parts.
