Hard coal mines are required to constantly ventilate mine workings to ensure that the air composition is at a certain humidity and temperature level that is comfortable for underground mine workers,especially in deep *** underground workings,which are part of the mine ventilation network,should be ventilated in a way that allows maintaining proper oxygen concentration not lower than 19%(by volume),and limits concentration of gases in the air such as methane,carbon monoxide or carbon *** air flow in the mine ventilation network may be disturbed due to the natural convergence(deformation)and lead to change in its original *** the cross-sectional area of the mining excavation causes local resistances in the air flow and changes in aerodynamic potentials,which leads to emergency states in the mine ventilation *** paper presents the results of numerical simulations of the influence of gateroad convergence on the ventilation process of a selected part of the mine ventilation *** gateroad convergence was modelled with the finite element software pHASE *** influence of changes in the cross-sectional area of the gateroad on the ventilation process was carried out using the computational fluid dynamics software Ansys-Fluent.

Background： Interleukin-1β（IL-1β） is important mediator of inflammatory-induced suppression of reproductive axis at the hypothalamic level. At the beginning of inflammation, the main source of cytokines in the cerebrospinal fluid（CSF） is peripheral circulation, while over time, cytokines produced in the brain are more important. Melatonin has been shown to decrease pro-inflammatory cytokines concentration in the brain. In ewes, melatonin is used to advance the onset of a breading season. Little is known about CSF concentration of IL-1β in ewes and its correlation with plasma during inflammation as well as melatonin action on the concentration of IL-1β in blood plasma and the CSF, and brain barriers permeability in early stage of lipopolysaccharide（LpS）-induced ***： Systemic inflammation was induced through LpS administration in melatonin-and sham-implanted ewes. Blood and CSF samples were collected before and after LpS administration and IL-1β and albumin concentration were measured. To assess the functions of brain barriers albumin quotient（QAlb） was *** of IL-1β（Il1B） and its receptor type Ⅰ（Il1r1） and type Ⅱ（Il1r2） and matrix metalloproteinase（Mmp） 3 and 9 was evaluated in the choroid plexus（Cp）.Results： Before LpS administration, IL-1β was on the level of 62.0 ± 29.7 pg/mL and 66.4 ± 32.1 pg/mL in plasma and 26.2 ± 5.4 pg/mL and 21.3 ± 8.7 pg/mL in the CSF in sham-and melatonin-implanted group, *** LpS it increased to 159.3 ± 53.1 pg/mL and 197.8 ± 42.8 pg/mL in plasma and 129.8 ± 54.2 pg/mL and139.6 ± 51.5 pg/mL in the CSF. Composts are considered to be one of the best soil amendments. However, the effects of composts with added polymeric materials on soil physical,hydraulic, and micromorphological properties have not been widely discussed. Changes in soil physical properties influence the numerous services that soils provide. We studied the impacts of composts with the addition of three different polymers(F1–F3) produced from polyethylene and thermoplastic corn starch on the physical, hydraulic, and micromorphological properties of two soils, a Cambic phaeozem and a Luvic phaeozem. Applying composts with polymers had limited or no significant effect on soil bulk density and porosity, but increased the field water capacity by 18%–82% and 3%–6% and the plant-available water content by 15%–23% and 4%–17% for the Cambic phaeozem and Luvic phaeozem, respectively. The application of composts with polymers had a greater effect on the Cambic phaeozem than on the Luvic phaeozem. It was suggested that the use of modified composts led to changes in soil physical properties and micromorphological features and this effect was dependent on the compost application rate. Composts made with the addition of composite synthetic and natural material-derived polymers during composting were found to be a composite mixture that can be successfully used in agriculture.

Multi-scale chemo-mechanical effects and microscopic failure modes are explored in the evolution of strength change of slip surface. Direct shear equipments, scanning electro-microscope and X-ray diffraction are used to trace the change in strength of remodeled soils of slip surfaces in the Three Gorges area. Results show that there is a release of alkali metals and concentration of clay minerals on the surface. During the tests, potassium ions were released, the cementation was reduced, and the ratio of interlayer minerals varied associated with strength change. Accordingly, illites or montmorillonite-illite mixtures turned into montmorillonite. So the strength change originates from the release of alkali metal ions on molecular scale that leads to the concentration and transition of clay minerals on meso-scale. The evolution of slip surface and soil strength is a typical process involving multi-scale processes of structure changes and chemo-mechanical coupling.

We show that many harmonic analysis operators in the Bessel setting, including maximal operators, Littlewood-pMey-Stein type square functions, multipliers of Laplace or Laplace-Stieltjes transform type and Riesz transforms are, or can be viewed as, CalderSn-Zygmund operators for all possible values of type parameter λ, in this context. This extends results existing in the literature, but being justified only for a restricted range of λ.

The Swiss stone pine(pinus cembra L.) is an alpine species, fairly commonly occurring in the Alps and the Carpathians, close to the timberline. Natural sites of the Swiss stone pine in poland are found exclusively in the Tatra Mountains, within the area of the Tatra National park(TNp). In 2017, the health status of the needles of p. cembra was determined and their mycological analysis was carried out. As a result, 11 species of fungi were isolated from the needles showing disease symptoms, manifested by various shades of discoloration. The most frequently observed species was Fusarium oxysporum. It probably does not bring on disease symptoms, but may affect the development of other frequently isolated species(such as Sydowia polyspora, Lophodermium sp. and Lophodermium conigenum) that are pathogenic to pinus spp.
