With an increasing demand for high-quality,eco-friendly food products and growing concerns over ecological conservation,the development of ecology-based alternatives for ruminant production in China is urgently *** review discusses the capabilities for integrating grassland grazing into existing livestock farming systems to meet the contemporary human needs for high-quality foods and ecologically stable ***,this review provides a critical analysis of the challenges and future directions associated with grassland-based ruminant farming *** nutritional manipulation with grazing manipulation is critical for improving the productivity of grassland-based ecosystems and natural ecological *** is the primary determinant of grassland ecosystem functions,while the composition and function of rumen microbiomes determine ruminant production *** studies should focus on the following aspects:1)how livestock grazing regulates grassland biodiversity and the mechanisms of grassland biodiversity maintenance,offering an important scientific basis for guiding grazing manipulation practices,including grazing intensity,livestock types,and grazing management practices;to 2)characterize the microbial ecology within the rumen of grazing ruminants to offer clarified instruction for the nutritional manipulation of grazing *** recommendation includes creating a transdisciplinary system that integrates ecology,animal nutrition,and animal behavior to develop grassland-based ruminant farming systems sustainably,thereby achieving high-quality animal production and environmentally sustainable goals.

Recreational value of glacier tourism resources：A travel cost analysis for Yulong Snow Mountain

Glaciers, with their unique and spectacular appearances and rich and varied terrain, have received widespread attention and become important tourist attractions. This paper uses the travel cost method to estimate the recreational value of the glacier tourism resources of Yulong Snow Mountain(also called Jade Dragon Snow Mountain), which is the most developed glacier tourist attraction in China. First-hand information was obtained through field surveys, and the travel costs of visitors visiting the Yulong Snow Mountain glacier were calculated before the method was applied to evaluate the recreational value of the focal glacier resource. The results show that the Yulong Snow Mountain consumer surplus associated with its glacier resources in 2016 ranged from 645.59-3439.10 million CNY, and the total recreational value ranged from 1.97-8.17 billion CNY. Approaches allocating travel costs across multiple recreational sites, however, can vary, and there is large difference in estimated results depending on used approaches. Nevertheless, the results of the analysis can help understand the socio-economic value of glacier resources and provide a reference for their development and protection.

The tau class glutathione S-transferases （GSTs） have important roles in stress tolerance and the detoxification of herbicides in crops and weeds. Structural investigations of a wheat tau GST （TaGSTU4） show two subunit interactions： a hydrogen bond between the Tyr93 and Pro65 from another subunit of the dimer, and two salt bridges between residues Glu78 and side chains of Arg95 and Arg99 in the opposite subunit. By investigating enzyme activities, kinetic parameters and structural characterizations, this study showed the following results：（i） the hydrogen bond interaction between the Tyr93 and Pro65 was not essential for dimerization, but contributed to the enzyme＇s catalytic activity, thermal stability and affinity towards substrates glutathione and 1-chloro-2, 4-dinitrobenzene; and （ii） two salt bridges mainly contributed to the protein structure stability and catalysis. The results of this study form a structural and functional basis for rational design of more selective and environmentally friendly herbicides.

气体膜分离技术在化工行业中极为常见，与传统气体分离技术相比，具有占地小、能耗低、操作简单和节能环保等优点，应用前景广泛。膜材料作为气体膜分离技术的核心，被广泛研究，其中基于金属有机框架（MOF）材料的混合基质膜（MMM）兼具高渗透性和高选择性，是有潜力的气体分离膜材料。MOF材料种类繁多，具有孔道结构可调性和表面可修饰性，但MOF颗粒与聚合物存在性质差异，相容性较差，易分散不均匀，导致MMM中存在颗粒团聚、聚合物链段僵化和颗粒孔道堵塞等界面缺陷，进而影响膜的气体分离性能和机械性能。本文根据改性方法原理的不同，归纳了改善MOF基MMM相容性的四种方法，分别是MOF的改性、MOF表面修饰、聚合物的改性和MMM的后处理。结合研究者们的实例，阐述其制备MMM的聚合物种类、MOF种类、目标气体、改性方法的机理和改性目的，并通过对改性前后MMM的渗透率、选择性和机械性能进行数据对比，体现界面改性后达到的分离效果。最后，对目前存在的改性方法进行探讨，提出现有界面优化方法的发展空间，比如对分子本身特性、温度、老化条件的考虑，以及利用预测模型来预筛选聚合物-填料组合。未来，应重点关注MMM的工业应用场景，提升负载量，最大化多孔MOF的优势，增强膜的机械性能和耐老化性能，促进MMM进一步商业化发展。

Differential evolution algorithm for hybrid flow-shop scheduling problems

Aiming at the hybrid flow-shop （HFS） scheduling that is a complex NP-hard combinatorial problem with wide engineering background, an effective algorithm based on differential evolution （DE） is proposed. By using a special encoding scheme and combining DE based evolutionary search and local search, the exploration and exploitation abilities are enhanced and well balanced for solving the HFS problems. Simulation results based on some typical problems and comparisons with some existing genetic algorithms demonstrate the proposed algorithm is effective, efficient and robust for solving the HFS problems.

In this paper, the linear stability of symplectic methods for Hamiltonian systems is studied. In par- ticular, three classes of symplectic methods are considered： symplectic Runge-Kutta （SRK） methods, symplectic partitioned Runge-Kutta （SPRK） methods and the composition methods based on SRK or SPRK methods. It is shown that the SRK methods and their compositions preserve the ellipticity of equilibrium points uncondi- tionally, whereas the SPRK methods and their compositions have some restrictions on the time-step.
