We previously reported that ONO-AE-248, a selective EP3 receptor agonist, has been shown to cause neutrophil death without the typical features of apoptosis and necrosis. However, the mechanism of the neutrophil death is unclear. By using Western blotting, flow cytometry （FACS） and confocal laser scanning microscopy （CLSM）, we investigated the cellular signal transduction pathways of the neutrophil death. The research results showed that the neutrophil death induced by ONO-AE-248 did not show the morphologic changes of apoptosis and was not associated with the activity of caspase-3, caspase-8, and phosphorylation of p38-MAPK. However, impairment of mitochondria transmembrane potential has been found during the process of cell death. These findings suggested that ONO-AE-248 induced a non-apoptotic programmed cell death of neutrophils through partially mitochondria signaling transduction pathway. Cellular ＆ Molecular Immunology.

目的建立蒙药沙蓬茎、叶、花中槲皮素和异鼠李素的含量,分析槲皮素和异鼠李素在沙蓬不同部位的分布情况。方法采用高效液相色谱法(HPLC)测定槲皮素和异鼠李素的含量。结果槲皮素和异鼠李素分别在0.0107~0.5336μg、0.0421~2.1038μg范围内与峰面积具有很好的线性关系,回收率分别为100.06%、102.59%,相对标准偏差(RSD)分别为1.52%、1.67%(n=6),沙蓬茎、叶、花中槲皮素和异鼠李素的总量依次为叶>花>茎。结论该方法精密度高,分离度好,可用于蒙药沙蓬茎、叶、花中槲皮素和异鼠李素的含量测定。

BACKGROUND Granulocyte colony-stimulating factor(G-CSF)is a cytokine produced in inflammatory environments that induces differentiation and proliferation of neutrophils in bone *** report a rare case of aggressive G-CSFproducing squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue exhibiting fluorine-18 deoxyglucose(FDG)accumulation in primary lesion,metastatic lymph nodes,spleen,and bone marrow on positron emission tomography–computed tomography(PET/CT).CASE SUMMARY We report a 58-year-old female with a rapid enlarged lingual mass with partial *** test results from the initial examination revealed a leukocyte count of 21380/μ*** PET/CT,extensive FDG accumulation was observed in the tongue and bilateral cervical lymph nodes,with elevated FDG accumulation in the spleen and bone marrow although no distant metastases were *** performed partial glossectomy and bilateral neck *** staining with G-CSF antibodies on biopsy specimen and resected samples revealed that both specimens were G-CSF *** is a rare case of G-CSF producing tongue carcinoma with elevated FDG accumulation in the spleen and bone *** In patients with the tongue cancer and hyperleukocytosis,where FDG accumulations in the spleen and bone marrow are observed using PET/CT and when these accumulations are not caused by metastasis,G-CSF-producing tumors,with associated poor prognosis,should be considered.

In this paper, robust MPC (Model Predictive Control) with adaptive DA converter method for the wheelchair using EEG (Electroencephalogram) based BMI (Brain Machine Interface) is discussed. The method is developed to apply to the obstacle avoidance system of wheelchair. This paper is the 1st stage for the development of the BMI based wheelchair in practical use. The robust MPC method is realized by using the minimax optimization with bounded constraint conditions. Some numerical examples are also included to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodas the former stage of the real experiments.

We studied the effect of salinity on nail-hold- ing power in wood construction. In saline solution, the holding power of nails was less than in purified water. With the increase of salt concentration, the surface and side nail- holding power of the wood specimens both declined, but the differences between salinity treatments were not sig- nificant. However, compared to the surface and side nail- holding power, the power on the edge was generally less and the difference was not obvious in different salt con- centrations. In the same salt concentration, with the extension of the processing cycle, the performance of holding power of nails showed a downward trend, expect the temporary rise in the middle.
