There is a need for very fast option pricers when the financial objects are modeled by complex systems of stochastic differential *** the authors investigate option pricers based on mixed Monte-Carlo partial differential solvers for stochastic volatility models such as Heston'*** is found that orders of magnitude in speed are gained on full Monte-Carlo algorithms by solving all equations but one by a Monte-Carlo method,and pricing the underlying asset by a partial differential equation with random coefficients,derived by Ito *** strategy is investigated for vanilla options,barrier options and American options with stochastic volatilities and jumps optionally.

Although the anatomical configuration of the amygdala has been studied a greatdeal,very little research has been conducted on understanding the precise mecha-nism by which this emotional regulatory center exerts its control on emotional andsexual *** applying research methodology from the Neuroscience Re-search Institute,State University of New York,College at Old Westbury,we in-tended to demonstrate that much of the mediated effects of the amygdala,specifi-cally the regulation of the male and female sexual response cycles,as well asrelated emotional considerations,exert their effects coupled to nitric oxide (NO)***,by using current anatomical and histological data,wedemonstrated that amygdalar tissue rich in endocannabinoid and opiate,as wellas catecholamine,receptors could exert its neurochemical effects within an NO-mediated *** paradigm,together with the existence of estrogen andandrogen signaling within the amygdala,further lends credence to our *** begin with a brief anatomical and functional review of amygdalarfunction,and then proceed to demonstrate its relationship with NO.

Non-spherical micron and hand-sized particles and their composites have become essential in select application areas of optics, wear resistance, personnel protection, chemical mechanical polishing, and biomedicine. In this paper, the synthesis of composite and ceramic non-spherical particles using stop flow lithography is reported. Precursor suspensions of poly（ethylene glycol） diacrylate, 2-hydroxy- 2-methylpropiophenone and SiO2 or Al2O3 are prepared. The precursor suspension flows through a microfluidic device mounted on an upright microscope and is polymerized in an automated process. A photomask patterned with transparent geometric features, which define the cross-sectional shapes of the particles, masks the UV light to synthesize micron sized particles. Particles with axial dimensions ranging from 35 to 167μm were synthesized. Control of device channel depth and objective lens magnification enables the manipulation of the particle size. Composite particles in triangular, square, pentagonal, hexagonal, and circular cross sections were synthesized. Subsequently, the transformation of the composite particles into the corresponding metal oxide particles was achieved through polymer burn-offand sintering.

Lung cancer remains the leading cause of cancer-associated mortality worldwide,but with the emergence of oncogene targeted therapies,treatment options have tremendously *** to their biological relevance,members of the ERBB receptor family,including the EGF receptor(EGFR),HER2,HER3 and HER4,are among the best studied oncogenic *** EGFR mutations are frequently observed in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC),and small molecule tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs)are the established first line treatment option for patients whose tumors bear"typical/classical"EGFR mutations(exon 19 deletions,L858R point mutations).Additionally,new TKIs are rapidly evolving with better efficacy to overcome primary and secondary treatment resistance(e.g.,that due to T790M or C797S resistance mutations).Some atypical EGFR mutations,such as the most frequent exon 20 insertions,exhibit relative resistance to earlier generation TKIs through steric *** this subgroup,newer TKIs,such as mobocertinib and the bi-specific antibody amivantamab have recently been approved,whereas less frequent atypical EGFR mutations remain *** contrast to EGFR,HER2 has long remained a challenging target,but better structural understanding has led to the development of newer generations of *** recent FDA approval of the antibody-drug conjugate trastuzumab-deruxtecan for pretreated patients with HER2 mutant NSCLC has been an important therapeutic ***3 and HER4 also exert oncogenic potential,and targeted treatment approaches are being developed,particularly for ***,strategies to inhibit the oncogenic function of ERBB receptors in NSCLC are currently evolving at an unprecedented pace;therefore,this review summarizes current treatment standards and discusses the outlook for future developments.

Automated production systems typically comprise numerous electrical servo drives,many of which conduct positioning motions,*** handling or manipulation *** power electronics of modern multi-axis systems often comprise coupled DC-links,enabling for internal exchange of recuperative brake ***,the motion sequences of manipulators are often commanded at maximum dynamics for minimum time motion,neglecting possible optimization potential,*** idle time,leading to inefficient energy management.A robust trajectory optimization approach based on the particle swarm algorithm and well-established path planning methods is presented for the adaption of multi-axis positioning tasks with only two parameters per axis and positioning motion during system *** results prove that,depending on the positioning task and chosen optimization constraints,energy demands are distinctly *** approach is applicable to diverse multi-axis configurations and enables for considerable energy savings without additional hardware invest.

Plasma-assisted molecular beam epitaxy （MBE） was used to grow ZnO （0001） layers on GaN（0001）/4H-SiC buffer layers deposited in the same growth chamber equipped with both N- and O-plasma sources. The GaN buffer layers were grown immediately before initiating the growth of ZnO. Using a substrate temperature of 440℃- 445℃ and an 02 flow rate of 2.0-2.5 sccm, we obtained ZnO layers with smooth surfaces having a root-mean-square roughness of 0.3 nm and a peak-to-valley distance of 3 nm shown by AFM. The FWHM for X-ray rocking curves recorded across the ZnO（0002） and ZnO（1015） reflections were 200 and 950 arcsec, respectively. These values showed that the mosaicity （tilt and twist） of the ZnO film was comparable to corresponding values of the underlying GaN buffer. It was found that a substrate temperature 〉 450℃ and a high Zn-flux always resulted in a rough ZnO surface morphology. Reciprocal space maps showed that the in-plane relaxation of the GaN and ZnO layers was 82.3% and 73.0%, respectively and the relaxation occurred abruptly during the growth. Room-temperature Hall-effect measurements showed that the layers were intrinsically n-type with an electron concentration of 10^19 cm-3 and a Hall mobility of 50 cm2.V-1 .s-1.

Male factor contributes to 50%-60% of overall infertility but is solely responsible in only 20% of couples. Although most male factor infertility is ascertained from an abnormal semen analysis, other male factors can be contributory especially if the sample returns normal. Male infertility can be due to identifiable hormonal or anatomical etiologies that may be reversible or irreversible. This manuscript will highlight existing guidelines and our recommendations for hormone evaluation for male infertility and empiric therapies including multivitamins, estrogen receptor modulators （clomiphene）, estrogen conversion blockers （anastrozole）, and hormone replacement.

Gastric cancer and cancer of the gastro-oesophageal junction(GOJ) are the 4th most common cancer diagnoses worldwide with regional differences in incidence *** treatment of gastric and GOJ cancers is complex and requires multimodality treatment including chemotherapy treatment,surgery,and *** the past decade considerable improvements were achieved by advanced surgical techniques,tailored chemotherapies/radiotherapy and technical innovations in clinical *** patients with advanced or metastatic gastric/GOJ cancer systemic chemotherapy with fluoropyrimidine/platinum-based regimens(+/-human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 antibody) is the mainstay of *** these improvements,the clinical outcome for patients with advanced or metastatic disease is generally poor with 5-year survival rates ranging between 5%-15%.These poor survival rates may to some extent be related that standard therapies beyond first-line therapies have never been *** that this patient population is often not fit enough to receive further treatments there is an increasing body of evidence from phase-2 studies that in fact second-line therapies may have a positive impact in terms of overall *** two recently published phase-3 studies support the use of second-line chemotherapy.A South Korean study compared either,irinotecan or docetaxel with best supportive care and a German study compared irinotecan with best supportive care-both studies met their primary endpoint overall *** this "Field of Vision" article,we review these recently published phase-3 studies and put them into the context of clinical prognostic factors helping to guide treatment decisions in patients who most likely benefit.
