Functionally graded materials(FgMs)are a novel class of composite materials that have attracted significant attention in the field of engineering due to their unique mechanical *** study aims to explore the dynamic behaviors of an FgM stepped beam with different boundary conditions based on an efficient solving *** the assumptions of the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory,the governing differential equations of an individual FgM beam are derived with Hamilton’s principle and decoupled via the separation-of-variable ***,the free and forced vibrations of the FgM stepped beam are solved with the transfer matrix method(TMM).Two models,i.e.,a three-level FgM stepped beam and a five-level FgM stepped beam,are considered,and their natural frequencies and mode shapes are *** demonstrate the validity of the method in this paper,the simulation results by ABAQUS are also *** this basis,the detailed parametric analyses on the frequencies and dynamic responses of the three-level FgM stepped beam are carried *** results show the accuracy and efficiency of the TMM.

Optimization algorithms play a pivotal role in enhancing the performance and efficiency of systems across various scientific and engineering *** enhance the performance and alleviate the limitations of the Northern goshawk Optimization(NgO)algorithm,particularly its tendency towards premature convergence and entrapment in local optima during function optimization processes,this study introduces an advanced Improved Northern goshawk Optimization(INgO)*** algorithm incorporates a multifaceted enhancement strategy to boost operational ***,a tent chaotic map is employed in the initialization phase to.generate a diverse initial population,providing high-quality feasible ***,after the first phase of the NgO’s iterative process,a whale fall strategy is introduced to prevent premature convergence into local *** is followed by the integration of T-distributionmutation strategies and the State Transition Algorithm(STA)after the second phase of the NgO,achieving a balanced synergy between the algorithm’s exploitation and *** research evaluates the performance of INgO using 23 benchmark functions alongside the IEEE CEC 2017 benchmark functions,accompanied by a statistical analysis of the *** experimental outcomes demonstrate INgO’s superior achievements in function optimization ***,its applicability in solving engineering design problems was verified through simulations on Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(UAV)trajectory planning issues,establishing INgO’s capability in addressing complex optimization challenges.

Stimuli-responsive luminescent materials have attracted significant attention in the development of smart photoactive materials for both fundamental research and technological *** this work,a new copper iodide cluster(1)with aggregationinduced emission(AIE)characteristic,was obtained combining Cu_(4)I_(4) core with rhodamine B derivative ligand.1 has reversible and distinct multi-stimuli-responsive luminescence for external temperature,volatile organic compound,and mechanical ***,1 exhibited unusual large blue shift(84 nm)after being ground,which originated from the change of intermolecular ***,1 exhibits high oxygen quenching efficiency for 82.2% at 1 *** studies showed that the multi-stimuli-responsive luminescence properties of 1 can be attributed to the regulation of cluster-centered luminescence process,metal-to-ligand charge transfer process,halide-to-metal charge transfer luminescence process and aggregationinduced barrier to oxygen *** work not only reports an AIE copper iodide cluster,but also provides a new strategy to develop multi-stimuli-responsive luminescence materials.

Developing efficient energy storage for sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)by creating high-performance heterojunctions and understanding their interfacial interaction at the atomic/molecular level holds promise but is also ***,sluggish reaction kinetics at low temperatures restrict the operation of SIBs in cold ***,cross-linking nanoarchitectonics of WS_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) heterojunction,featuring built-in electric field(BIEF),have been developed,employing as a model to reveal the positive effect of heterojunction design and BIEF for modifying the reaction kinetics and electrochemical ***,the theoretical analysis manifests the discrepancy in work functions leads to the electronic flow from the electron-rich Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) to layered WS_(2),spontaneously forming the BIEF and“ion reservoir”at the heterogeneous ***,the generation of cross-linking pathways further promotes the transportation of electrons/ions,which guarantees rapid diffusion kinetics and excellent structure ***,superior sodium storage performance is obtained for the WS_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) heterojunction,with only 0.2%decay per cycle at 5.0 A g^(-1)(25℃)up to 1000 cycles and a high capacity of 293.5 mA h g^(-1)(0.1A g^(-1)after 100 cycles)even at-20℃.Importantly,the spontaneously formed BIEF,accompanied by“ion reservoir”,in heterojunction provides deep understandings of the correlation between structure fabricated and performance obtained.

The safety of risers in hang-off states is a vital challenge in offshore oil and gas engineering.A new hang-off system installed on top of risers is proposed for improving the security of *** approach leads to a challenging problem:coupling the dynamics of risers with a new hang-off system combined with multiple structures and complex *** accurately analyze the dynamic responses of the coupled system,a coupled dynamic model is established based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam-column theory and penalty function method.A comprehensive analysis method is proposed for coupled dynamic analysis by combining the finite element method and the Newmarkβ*** analysis program is also developed in MATLAB for dynamic *** simulation results show that the dynamic performances of the risers at the top part are significantly improved by the new hang-off system,especially the novel design,which includes the centralizer and articulation *** bending moment and lateral deformation of the risers at the top part decrease,while the hang-off joint experiences a great bending moment at the bottom of the lateral restraint area which requires particular attention in design and *** platform navigation speed range under the safety limits of risers expands with the new hang-off system in use.

The slow phase transformation of microalloyed dual phase steel makes the nonuniform stress and temperature fields during the post rolling cooling process have a significant impact on the phase transformation *** the relatively slow phase transformation of DP780 steel within the microalloyed dual phase steel series,the influence of stress on the phase transformation behavior of DP780 steel was *** quantify the nonuniform thermal and stress conditions in the steel coil,a thermo-mechanical coupled finite element model of the hot-rolled strip cooling process was *** on the simulation data,DP780 steel was chosen as the research material,and gleeble 3500 thermal simulation equipment was used for experimental *** thermal expansion curves were analyzed through regression to establish the dynamic model of DP780 steel phase transformation under ***,metallographic analysis was conducted to determine phase transformation type and grain size of DP780 *** results confirmed that the stress promotes the occurrence of semi-diffusion-type bainite ***,an appropriate level of stress facilitates the growth of bainitic grains,while the increased stress inhibits the growth of ferritic grains.

Chemotherapeutics can induce immunogenic cell death(ICD)in tumor cells,offering new possibilities for cancer ***,the efficiency of the immune response generated is insufficient due to the inhibitory nature of the tumor microenvironment(TME).Here,we developed a pH/reactive oxygen species(ROS)dual-response system to enhance chemoimmunotherapy for *** system productively accumulated in tumors by specific binding of phenylboronic acid(PBA)to sialic acids(SA).The nanoparticles(NPs)rapidly swelled and released quercetin(QUE)and doxorubicin(DOX)upon the stimulation of tumor microenvironment(TME).The in vitro and in vivo results consistently demonstrated that the NPs improved anti-tumor efficacy and prolonged survival of mice,significantly enhancing the effects of the *** study revealed DOX was an ICD inducer,stimulating immune responses and promoting maturation of dendritic cells(DCs).Additionally,QUE served as a TME regulator by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase-2(COX2)-prostaglandin E2(PgE2)axis,which influenced various immune cells,including increasing cytotoxic T cells(CLTs)infiltration,promoting M1 macrophage polarization,and reducing regulatory T cells(Tregs)*** combination synergistically facilitated chemoimmunotherapy efficacy by remodeling the immunosuppressive *** work presents a promising strategy to increase anti-tumor efficiency of chemotherapeutic agents.
