The morbidity and mortality of myeloproliferative neoplasms(MPNs)are primarily caused by arterial and venous complications,progression to myelofibrosis,and transformation to acute leukemia.However,identifying molecular-based biomarkers for risk stratification of patients with MPNs remains a challenge.We have previously shown that interferon regulatory factor-8(IRF8)and IRF4 serve as tumor suppressors in myeloid cells.In this study,we evaluated the expression of IRF4 and IRF8 and the JAK2V617F mutant allele burden in patients with MPNs.Patients with decreased IRF4 expression were correlated with a more developed MPN phenotype in myelofibrosis(MF)and secondary AML(sAML)transformed from MPNs versus essential thrombocythemia(ET).Negative correlations between the JAK2V617F allele burden and the expression of IRF8(Pmay serve as biomarkers for the response to HU in ET.

Geothermal activities are common in active orogenic zones and play an important role in surface-earth geochemical processes.Here we analyzed the water chemical compositions,stable and radioactive carbon isotopes of dissolved inorganic carbon(δ^(13)CDICandΔ^(14)CDIC)of hot springs and large rivers in the eastern Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau(QTP).The hot springs had major ions’concentrations varying in a wide range,and most hot springs’alkalinities resulted from high-temperature silicate alteration.The observed hot springs’waters were affected by the mixing of metamorphic fluids and surface waters,which altered the water chemistry andΔ^(14)CDICof the hot springs.Because the observedΔ^(14)CDICin hot springs was much higher than the theoreticalΔ^(14)CDICin metamorphic fluids(i.e.,-1000‰),we used an isotopic mass balance approach(i.e.,Δ^(14)CDIC)to quantify the contribution of surface waters to the hot springs.After the ions of metamorphic fluids were calibrated byΔ^(14)CDIC,the metamorphic water fluxes were calculated by the chemical mass balance approach of Ge/Si ratios,using the Monte-Carlo method.We found that the proportion of metamorphic water fluxes to the river discharge ranged from 0.17%for the Yellow River to 0.52%for the Jinsha River,and it would be much higher in some tributaries.The horizontal metamorphic contributions of alkalinity to the large rivers ranged from 0.87%to 3.96%in eastern QTP,and the vertical metamorphic carbon outgassing would be much higher.The metamorphic fluids fluxes estimated in this study were much lower than previous estimations extrapolated from small Himalayan rivers,and thus we thought that the previous estimations of metamorphic carbon fluxes in QTP were likely over-estimated.We propose that systematic studies are needed to be conducted to constrain the metamorphic carbon flux in QTP.This study shed light on the release of metamorphic carbon in the orogenic zone,placing limits on the results of orogenic forcing on chemical weatherability.

Establishment and application of national reference panels for SARS-CoV-2 antigen detection kit

To develop a national reference panel for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)antigen detection kit and establish a quality standard.The cultures of SARS-CoV-2 and other pathogens were collected to establish a national reference panel for SARS-CoV-2 antigen detection.The stability and homogeneity of the reference panel were evaluated.Based on World Health Organization(WHO)guidance and nucleic acid quantitative results,a quality standard reference panel was established.Currently,three generations of SARS-CoV-2 antigen national reference materials with batch numbers 370095–202001,370095–202202,and 370095–202203 have been successfully established.These national reference panels comprised 8 positive samples,20 negative samples,1 repetitive sample,and 1 lower detection limit sample.The stability and homogeneity of the reference panel meet the requirements.The quality standards are as follows:the positive and negative coincidence rates are 8/8 and 20/20,respectively.The 10 test results of the medium and low-concentration repetitive reference materials should be positive,and the color rendering should be uniform(or the coefficient of variance should not be higher than 20.0%).The lower detection limit should be at least 5×105 U/mL(equivalent to copies/mL),and higher concentrations above the lower detection limit must be positive.A national reference panel for the SARS-CoV-2 antigen detection kit has been established.As the standard of SARS-CoV-2 antigen reagents,the reference panel has played a crucial role in the pre-marketing quality evaluation and post-marketing quality supervision in China.

This paper considers tripartite pricing issues in a two-echelon supply chain involving duopolistic manufacturers and a single retailer.Firstly,a tripartite competitive model is conducted,in which both a Stackelberg game and a Bertrand game occur simultaneously.It is shown that the manufacturer who possesses a higher sales quantity gains more profits than the other one.Secondly,a definition of optimal vertical pricing alliance is proposed when cooperation exists between the retailer and some manufacturer.We conduct two-player games when partial cooperation exists among the three participants.It is demonstrated that the total profit of the alliance is higher than the sum profit of the corresponding two participants in the tripartite competition model,and meanwhile the profit of the manufacturer who is not in the alliance suffers a loss.Further,a criterion is given to judge which manufacturer the retailer will choose to cooperate in order to maximize the total increased profits.From the perspective of game theory,we examine the stability of the vertical alliance with considering the dominance of the retailer.Finally,a numerical illustration is designed to examine the judging criteria of which manufacturer is the member of the optimal alliance under different potential market demands.

要素市场扭曲是“半统制、半市场”制度安排下的衍生物,对微观企业技术创新乃至宏观经济高质量发展都具有重要影响。本文基于2011-2021年我国东部三大城市群49个城市及其A股上市公司的宏微观匹配数据,探讨城市要素市场扭曲对本地企业技术创新的影响及作用机制。研究发现:要素市场扭曲对企业技术创新具有显著的抑制作用,尤其是对企业核心技术创新的抑制作用更强;与京津冀城市群相比,长三角、珠三角城市群要素市场扭曲对企业技术创新的负向影响更为显著;要素价格扭曲和要素配置扭曲均会显著抑制企业技术创新水平提升,并分别表现出衰减效应和增强效应。机制检验发现,要素市场扭曲会通过寻租腐败效应、需求抑制效应和低端技术锁定效应抑制企业技术创新水平的提升。本文的研究结论为要素市场化改革、创新驱动发展及优化创新资源配置机制提供了政策启示。

The surface air convergence on the eastern flank of the Tibetan Plateau (TP) can increase the in situ surface potential vorticity density (PVD). Since the elevated TP intersects with the isentropic surfaces in the lower troposphere, the increased PVD on the eastern flank of TP thus forms a PVD forcing to the intersected isentropic surface in the boundary layer. The influence of surface PVD forcing over the TP on the extreme freezing rain/snow over South China in January 2008 is investigated by using numerical experiments based on the Finite-volume Atmospheric Model of the IAP/LASG (FAMIL). Compared with observations, the simulation results show that, by using a nudging method for assimilating observation data in the initial flow, this model can reasonably reproduce the distribution of precipitation, atmospheric circulation, and PVD propagation over and downstream of the TP during the extreme winter precipitation period. In order to investigate the impact of the increased surface PVD over the TP on the extreme precipitation in South China, a sensitivity experiment with surface PVD reduced over the TP region was performed. Compared with the control experiment, it is found that the precipitation in the TP downstream area, especially in Southeast China, is reduced. The rainband from Guangxi Region to Shandong Province has almost disappeared. In the lower troposphere, the increase of surface PVD over the TP region has generated an anomalous cyclonic circulation over southern China, which plays an important role in increasing southerly wind and the water vapor transport in this area;it also increases the northward negative absolute vorticity advection. In the upper troposphere, the surface PVD generated in eastern TP propagates on isentropic surface along westerly wind and results in positive absolute vorticity advection in the downstream areas. SEUSS and PIF4 Coordinately Regulate Light and Temperature Signaling Pathways to Control Plant Growth

Plants continuously monitor environmental conditions （such as light and temperature） and adjust their growth and development accordingly. The transcription factor PHYTOCHROME-INTERACTING FACTOR4 （PIF4） regulates both light and temperature signaling pathways. Here, we identified ENHANCED PHOTOMORPHOGENIC2 （EPP2） as a new repressor of photomorphogenesis in red, far-red, and blue light. map-based cloning revealed that EPP2 encodes the SEUSS （SEU） transcription regulator. The C terminus of SEU has transcriptional activation activity, and SEU physically interacts with PIF4. Moreover, SEU promotes the expression of many genes, including auxin biosynthetic and responsive genes, and regulates IAA levels in plants. SEU associates with the regulatory regions of INDOLE-3-ACETIC ACID INDUCIBLE6 （IAA6） and IAA 19 in a PIF4-independent manner, whereas the binding of PIF4to these genes requires SEU. Furthermore, muta- tions in SEU affect H3K4me3 methylation at IAA6 and IAA 19, and SEU positively regulates warm temperature- mediated hypocotyl growth together with PIF4. Collectively, our results reveal that SEU acts as a central regulator integrating light and temperature signals to control plant growth by coordinating with PIF4.

The external source/sink of potential vorticity (PV) is the original driving force for the atmospheric circulation. The relationship between surface PV generation and surface PV density forcing is discussed in detail in this paper. Moreover, a case study of the extreme winter freezing rain/snow storm over South China in January 2008 is performed, and the surface PV density forcing over the eastern flank of the Tibetan Plateau (TP) has been found to significantly affect the precipitation over South China in this case. The TP generated PV propagated eastward in the middle troposphere. The associated zonal advection of positive absolute vorticity resulted in the increasing of cyclo-nic relative vorticity in the downstream region of the TP. Ascending air and convergence in the lower troposphere developed, which gave rise to the development of the southerly wind. This favored the increasing of negative meridio-nal absolute vorticity advection in the lower troposphere, which provided a large-scale circulation background conducive to ascending motion such that the absolute vorticity advection increased with height. Consequently, the ascending air further strengthened the southerly wind and the vertical gradient of absolute vorticity advection between the lower and middle troposphere in turn. Under such a situation, the enhanced ascending, together with the moist air transported by the southerly wind, formed the extreme winter precipitation in January 2008 over South China.
