Background:Androgenic alopecia(AGA)is the most common type of hair loss in men,and there are many studies on the treatment of hair loss by platelet-rich plasma(PRP).The human scalp contains a huge microbiome,but its role in the process of hair loss remains unclear,and the relationship between PRP and the microbiome needs further ***,the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of PRP treatment on scalp microbiota ***:We performed PRP treatment on 14 patients with AGA,observed their clinical efficacy,and collected scalp swab samples before and after *** scalp microflora of AGA patients before and after treatment was characterized by amplifying the V3-V4 region of the 16 s RNA gene and sequencing for bacterial ***:The results showed that PRP was effective in the treatment of AGA patients,and the hair growth increased *** results of relative abundance analysis of microbiota showed that after treatment,g_Cutibacterium increased and g_Staphylococcus decreased,which played a stable role in scalp *** addition,g_Lawsonella decreased,indicating that the scalp oil production decreased after ***:The findings suggest that PRP may play a role in treating AGA through scalp microbiome rebalancing.

β-Sitosterol is a type of phytosterol that occurs naturally in *** studies have shown that it has anti-oxidant,anti-hyperlipidemic,anti-inflammatory,immunomodulatory,and anti-tumor effects,but it is unknown whetherβ-sitosterol treatment reduces the effects of ischemic *** we found that,in a mouse model of ischemic stroke induced by middle cerebral artery occlusion,β-sitosterol reduced the volume of cerebral infarction and brain edema,reduced neuronal apoptosis in brain tissue,and alleviated neurological dysfunction;moreover,β-sitosterol increased the activity of oxygen-and glucose-deprived cerebral cortex neurons and reduced *** investigation showed that the neuroprotective effects ofβ-sitosterol may be related to inhibition of endoplasmic reticulum stress caused by intracellular cholesterol accumulation after ischemic *** addition,β-sitosterol showed high affinity for NPC1L1,a key transporter of cholesterol,and antagonized its *** conclusion,β-sitosterol may help treat ischemic stroke by inhibiting neuronal intracellular cholesterol overload/endoplasmic reticulum stress/apoptosis signaling pathways.

Liposomes are one of the significant classes of antitumor nanomaterials and the most successful nanomedicine drugs in clinical translation. However, it is difficult to accurately reveal liposome delivery modes and drug release rates at different p H values to assess the biodistribution and drug delivery pathways in vivo. Here, we established a strategy to integrate Bi-doped carbon quantum dots(CQDs)with liposomes to produce fluorescence visualization and therapeutic effects, namely lipo/Bi-doped ***/Bi-doped CQDs show good water solubility and physicochemical properties, which can be used for in vitro labeling of colon cancer(CT26) cells and in vivo imaging localization tracking tumors for monitoring. Simultaneously, thanks to the excellent p H sensitivity and ion doping characteristic of Bi-doped CQDs, lipo/Bi-doped CQDs can be used to reveal the drug release rate of liposomes at different p H values and exhibit potential effects in vivo antitumor therapy.

This registration study assessed clinical outcomes of TQ-B3525,the dual phosphatidylinositol-3-kinase(PI3K)α/δinhibitor,in relapsed and/or refractory follicular lymphoma(R/R FL).This phase II study(*** *** March 27,2020)comprised run-in stage and stage 2.R/R FL patients after≥2 lines therapies received oral 20 mg TQ-B3525 once daily in a 28-day cycle until intolerable toxicity or disease *** endpoint was independent review committee(IRC)-assessed objective response rate(ORR).Based on results(ORR,88.0%;duration of response[DOR],11.8 months;progression-free survival[PFS],12.0 months)in 25 patients at run-in stage,second stage study was initiated and included 82 patients for efficacy/safety *** received prior-line(median,3)therapies,with 56.1%refractory to previous last therapies;73.2%experienced POD24 at *** stage 2,ORR was 86.6%(71/82;95%CI,77.3-93.1%),with 28(34.2%)complete *** control rate was 95.1%due to 7(8.5%)stable *** time to response was 1.8 *** 71 responders,median DOR was not reached;18-month DOR rate was 51.6%.with median follow-up of 13.3 months,median PFS was 18.5(95%CI,10.2-not estimable)*** overall survival(OS)was not reached by cutoff date;24-month OS rate was estimated as 86.1%.Response rates and survival data were consistent across all *** 3 or higher treatment-related adverse events were observed in 63(76.8%)cases,with neutropenia(22.0%),hyperglycemia(19.5%),and diarrhea(13.4%)being ***-B3525 showed favorable efficacy and safety for R/R FL patients after≥2 lines prior therapies.

Recently discovered Ising superconductors have garnered considerable interest due to their anomalously large in-plane upper critical fields(Bc2). However, the requisite strong spin-orbital coupling in the Ising pairing mechanism generally renders these superconductors heavy-element dominant with notably low superconducting transition temperatures(Tc). Here, based on the Migdal-Eliashberg theory and the mean-field Bogoliubov-de Gennes Hamiltonian, we demonstrate a significant enhancement of Ising superconductivity in monolayer NbSe2through surface fluorination, as evidenced by concomitant improvements in Tcand Bc2. This enhancement arises from three predominant factors. Firstly, fluorine atoms symmetrically and stably adhere to both sides of the monolayer NbSe2, thereby maintaining the out-of-plane mirror symmetry and locking carrier spins ***, fluorination suppresses the charge density wave in monolayer NbSe2and induces a van Hove singularity in the vicinity of the Fermi level, leading to a marked increase in the number of carriers and, consequently, strengthening the electron-phonon coupling(EPC). Lastly, the appearance of fluorine-related, low-frequency phonon modes further augments the EPC. Our findings suggest a promising avenue to elevate Tcin two-dimensional Ising superconductors without compromising their Ising pairing.
