This study presents a novel method to fabricate metal-decorated,sulfur-doped layered double hydroxides （M/SLDH） through spontaneous redox and sulfurization *** developed Ag/SLDH and Pt/SLDH catalysts with abundant heterogeneous interfaces and hierarchical nanostructures demonstrated outstanding oxygen evolution reaction （OER） and hydrogen evolution reaction （HER） performance,achieving low overpotentials of 212 and 35 mV at 10 mA cm-2in 1 M KOH,*** both anode and cathode in water splitting,they required only 1.47 V to reach 10 mA cm-2and exhibited high structural robustness,maintaining stability at 1000 mA cm-2for 300 ***-situ Raman analysis revealed that the synergistic effects of metal nanoparticles and S doping significantly promote the transformation into the S-Co1-xFexOOH layer,which serves as the active phase for water ***,ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy （UPS） and density functional theory （DFT） analyses indicated that incorporating metal nanoparticles and S doping increase electron density near the Fermi level and reduce reaction energy barriers,thus enhancing intrinsic OER and HER *** study provides a scalable strategy for synthesizing high-performance electrocatalysts for water splitting,with promising potential for broader applications.

Aqueous zinc-halogen batteries are promising candidates for large-scale energy storage due to their abundant resources,intrinsic safety,and high theoretical ***,the uncontrollable zinc dendrite growth and spontaneous shuttle effect of active species have prohibited their practical ***,a double-layered protective film based on zinc-ethylenediamine tetramethylene phosphonic acid(ZEA)artificial film and ZnF2-rich solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layer has been successfully fabricated on the zinc metal anode via electrode/electrolyte synergistic *** ZEA-based artificial film shows strong affinity for the ZnF2-rich SEI layer,therefore effectively suppressing the SEI breakage and facilitating the construction of double-layered protective film on the zinc metal *** double-layered architecture not only modulates Zn2+flux and suppresses the zinc dendrite growth,but also blocks the direct contact between the metal anode and electrolyte,thus mitigating the corrosion from the active *** employing optimized metal anodes and electrolytes,the as-developed zinc-(dual)halogen batteries present high areal capacity and satisfactory cycling *** work provides a new avenue for developing aqueous zinc-(dual)halogen batteries.

This paper demonstrates the equivalence of two classes of D-invariant polynomial subspaces, i.e., these two classes of subspaces are different representations of the breadth-one D-invariant subspace. Moreover, the authors solve the discrete approximation problem in ideal interpolation for the breadth-one D-invariant subspace. Namely, the authors find the points, such that the limiting space of the evaluation functionals at these points is the functional space induced by the given D-invariant subspace, as the evaluation points all coalesce at one point.

An enhanced trajectory linearization control （TLC） structure based on radial basis function neural network （RBFNN） and its application on an aerospace vehicle （ASV） flight control system are presensted. The influence of unknown disturbances and uncertainties is reduced by RBFNN thanks to its approaching ability, and a robustifying itera is used to overcome the approximate error of RBFNN. The parameters adaptive adjusting laws are designed on the Lyapunov theory. The uniform ultimate boundedness of all signals of the composite closed-loop system is proved based on Lyapunov theory. Finally, the flight control system of an ASV is designed based on the proposed method. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the designed approach.

CBBR: enabling distributed shared memory-based coordination among mobile robots

Coordinating mobile robots are widely used in commercial and industrial settings to fulfill various tasks. However, to program the coordination among mobile robots is challenging. A coordination framework is needed to shield the programmer from handling low-level details of robot control and communication, while supporting flexible and cost-effective coordination at the same time. The coordination framework should also be able to well coexist with the underlying robot control. To this end, we propose the Coordination-enabled Behavior-Based Robotics(CBBR) framework. CBBR employs Distributed Shared Memory(DSM) to support coordination. The shared memory illusion built by the DSM greatly simplifies the coordination logic. Moreover,the flexible access patterns of the DSM and the rich consistency semantics of the DSM reads and writes enable flexible and cost-effective coordination. With the coordination support from the DSM, CBBR naturally extends the classical Behavior-Based Robotics(BBR) for robot control. From the perspective of robot control using BBR, the shared variables in the DSM act as the logical sensors capturing the status of coordination. The coordination algorithms are encapsulated into coordination behaviors. Thus, the physical environment status and the coordination status may trigger the physical and the coordination behaviors. The scheduling of both types of behaviors integrates coordination into robot control. We conduct a case study to demonstrate the use of CBBR. The performance measurements show the cost-effectiveness of coordinating mobile robots based on CBBR, in terms of time, space, and energy consumption.

The problem of disguised voice recognition based on deep belief networks is studied. A hybrid feature extraction algorithm based on formants, Gammatone frequency cepstrum coefficients(GFCC) and their different coefficients is proposed to extract more discriminative speaker features from the original voice data. Using mixed features as the input of the model, a masquerade voice library is constructed. A masquerade voice recognition model based on a depth belief network is proposed. A dropout strategy is introduced to prevent overfitting, which effectively solves the problems of traditional Gaussian mixture models, such as insufficient modeling ability and low discrimination. Experimental results show that the proposed disguised voice recognition method can better fit the feature distribution, and significantly improve the classification effect and recognition rate.

Structural reconstruction of electrocatalysts plays a pivotal role in catalytic performances for CO_(2)reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR),whereas the behavior is by far superficially ***,we report that CO_(2)accessibility results in a universal self-adaptive structural reconstruction from Cu_(2)O to Cu@CuxO composites,ending with feeding gas-dependent microstructures and catalytic *** CO_(2)-rich atmosphere favors reconstruction for CO_(2)RR,whereas the CO_(2)-deficient one prefers that for hydrogen evolution *** the assistance of spectroscopic analysis and theoretical calculations,we uncover a CO_(2)-induced passivation behavior by identifying a reductionresistant but catalytic active Cu(I)-rich amorphous layer stabilized by*CO ***,we find extra CO production is indispensable for the robust production of *** inverse correlation between durability and FECO/FEC2H4 is disclosed,suggesting that the selfstabilization process involving the absorption of*CO intermediates on Cu(I)sites is essential for durable *** by this insight,we design hollow Cu_(2)O nanospheres for durable and selective CO_(2)RR electrolysis in producing *** work recognizes the previously overlooked passivation reconstruction and self-stabilizing behavior and highlights the critical role of the local atmosphere in modulating reconstruction and catalytic processes.

Robust superhydrophobicity of hierarchical ZnO hollow microspheres fabricated by two-step self-assembly

Superhydrophobic and superhydrophilic surfaces have been extensively inves- tigated due to their importance for industrial applications. It has been reported, however, that superhydrophobic surfaces are very sensitive to heat, ultraviolet （UV） light, and electric potential, which interfere with their long-term durability. In this study, we introduce a novel approach to achieve robust superhydrophobic thin films by designing architecture-defined complex nanostructures. A family of ZnO hollow microspheres with controlled constituent architectures in the morphologies of 1D nanowire networks, 2D nanosheet stacks, and 3D mesoporous nanoball blocks, respectively, was synthesized via a two-step self-assembly approach, where the oligomers or the constituent nanostructures with specially designed structures are first formed from surfactant templates, and then further assembled into complex morphologies by the addition of a second co-surfactant. The thin films composed of two-step synthesized ZnO hollow microspheres with different architectures presented superhydrophobicities with contact angles of 150°-155°, superior to the contact angle of 103° for one-step synthesized ZnO hollow microspheres with smooth and solid surfaces. Moreover, the robust superhydrophobicity was further improved by perfluorinated silane surface modification. The perfluorinated silane treated ZnO hollow microsphere thin films maintained excellent hydrophobicity even after 75 h of UV irradiation. The Kapitza resistance is of fundamental importance for the thermal stability of the interface between the ceramic top coat and the thermal growth oxide layer in the thermal barrier coating structure,which is widely used to protect high-temperature components in current gas turbine *** top coat typically consists of the ZrO_(2)partially stabilized by 8%Y2O3(YSZ),and the main component of the thermal growth oxide isα-Al_(2)O_(3).In this work,the Kapitza resistance is found to be a small value of 0.69 m^(2)K/GW for the YSZ/α-Al_(2)O_(3)interface based on the heat dissipation simulation *** indicates that the localization of thermal energy is rather weak,which is beneficial for the thermal stability of the YSZ/α-Al_(2)O_(3)*** Kapitza resistance can be further reduced to 0.50 m^(2)K/GW by a mechanical or thermal compressive strain of 8%.To explore the underlying mechanism for this strain effect,we analyze the phonon vibration and the microscopic deformation in the interface *** is revealed that the interface becomes denser through the compression-induced twisting of some Al-O_(zr)and A1-O_(Al)chemical bonds in the interface region,which is responsible for the reduction in the Kapitza *** temperature effect and crystal size effect on the Kapitza resistance of the YSZ/α-Al_(2)O_(3)interface are also systematically *** findings shall provide valuable information for further understanding of the thermal conductivity and thermal stability of the thermal barrier coating structures.
