To explore the feasibility and superiority of iodine delivery rate(IDR)and tube voltage determined by patients'body mass index(BMI)in coronary CT angiography(CCTA),a total of 1567 patients undertaking CCTA during *** Dec.2016 were enrolled and divided into two *** the control group,the IDR and tube voltage were fixed,while in the experimental group,the IDR and tube voltage were determined by patients,*** volume of iodinated contrast media(ICM),extravasation rate,extravasation volume,extravasation recovery interval,incidence rate of adverse reactions,effective dose(ED)and image quality of the two groups were *** experiments demonstrated that the ICM volume,extravasation rate,extravasation volume,extravasation recovery interval,incidence of adverse reactions and ED were lower or shorter in the experimental group than in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).However,there were no significant differences in the mean CT value,image noise,signal to noise ratio and contrast to noise ratio between the two groups(all P<0.05),which were consistent with the diagnosticians*subjective evaluation *** findings suggested that in CCTA,it is feasible to determine the IDR and tube voltage based on patients'BMI;low tube voltage and IDR are superior to the fixed tube voltage and IDR and are worthy of clinical promotion.

Spin chiral anisotropy(SChA)refers to the occurrence of different spin polarization in antipodal chiral ***,we report the SChA in diamagnetic chiral mesostructured In2O3 films(CMIFs)with manifestation of chirality-dependent magnetic circular dichroism(MCD)*** were grown on fluorine-doped tin dioxide conductive glass(FTO)substrates,which were synthesized via a hydrothermal route,with malic acid used as the symmetry-breaking *** levels of chirality have been identified in CMIFs:primary nanoflakes with atomically twisted crystal lattices and secondary helical stacking of the *** exhibit chirality-dependent asymmetric MCD signals due to the different interactions of chirality-induced effective magnetic field and external magnetic field,which distinguish from the commonly observed external magnetic fielddependent symmetric MCD *** findings provide insights into spin manipulation of spin-paired diamagnets.

Cold exposure is an external stress factor that causes skin frostbite as well as a variety of *** might participate in neuroprotection after cold exposure,but its precise mechanism remains *** this study,mice were exposed to 10°C for 7 days and 0–4°C for 30 days to induce a model of chronic cold *** showed that oxidative stress-related c-fos and cyclooxygenase 2 expressions,MAP1LC3-labeled autophagic cells,Iba1-labeled activated microglia,and interleukin-1β-positive pyramidal cells were increased in the hippocampal CA1 *** cold exposure markedly elevated the levels of estrogen in the blood and the estrogen receptor,G protein-coupled receptor *** results indicate that neuroimmunoreactivity is involved in chronic cold exposure-induced pathological alterations,including oxidative stress,neuronal autophagy,and ***,estrogen exerts a neuroprotective effect on cold exposure.

Rationally designed novel cost-effective hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)electrocatalysts with controlled surface composition and advanced structural superiority is extremely critical to optimize the HER ***(POMs)with structural diversity and adjustable element compositions represent a promising precursor for rational design and preparation of HER ***,a series of transition metal-doped MoS_(2)materials with different surface engineered structures(Fe,Cr,V doping and S vacancies)(M-MoS_(2)/CC,M=Fe,Cr and V)were fabricated by a simple hydrothermalvulcanization strategy using Keplerate polyoxomolybdate nanoball({Mo_(72)Fe_(30)},{Mo_(72)Cr_(30)},{Mo_(72)V_(30)},{Mo_(132)})as *** enlarged interlayer spacing as well as the integration of homogeneous transition metal doping and abundant sulfur vacancies endows prepared M-MoS_(2)/CC with superior HER electrocatalytic performance and excellent long-term working stability in both acidic and alkaline *** optimized Fe-MoS_(2)/CC afford current densities of 10 and 50 mA/cm^(2)at overpotentials of 188/272 mV and 194/394 mV in 0.5 mol/L H_(2)SO_(4)and 1.0 mol/L KOH aqueous solution,respectively,outperforming most of reported typical transition metal sulfide-based *** work represents an important breakthrough for POMs-mediated highly efficient transition metal sulfide-based HER electrocatalysts with wide range pH activity and may provide new options for the rational design of promising HER electrocatalysts and beyond.

Type 1 diabetes mellitus(T1DM) lacks insulin secretion due to autoimmune deficiency of pancreaticβ-*** pancreatic islets and enhancing insulin secretion has been therapeutic *** is the main type of polysaccharide from natural mushroom,which has potential medicinal ***,the antidiabetic property of mannogalactoglucan in T1DM has not been fully *** this study,we obtained the neutral fraction of alkali-soluble Armillaria mellea polysaccharide(AAMP-N) with the structure of mannogalactoglucan from the fruiting body of *** and investigated the potential therapeutic value of AAMP-N in *** demonstrated that AAMP-N lowered blood glucose and improved diabetes symptoms in T1DM ***-N activated unfolded protein response(UPR) signaling pathway to maintain ER protein folding homeostasis and promote insulin secretion in *** that,AAMP-N promoted insulin synthesis via upregulating the expression of transcription factors,increased Ca^(2+) signals to stimulate intracellular insulin secretory vesicle transport via activating calcium/calmodulin-dependent kinase Ⅱ(CamkⅡ) and cAMP/PKA signals,and enhanced insulin secretory vesicle fusion with the plasma membrane via vesicle-associated membrane protein 2(VAMP2).Collectively,these studies demonstrated that the therapeutic potential of AAMP-N on pancreatic islets function,indicating that mannogalactoglucan could be natural nutraceutical used for the treatment of T1DM.

GPCRs are dominant targets for approved drugs and the discovery of lead compound targeting them is still challengeable. Affinity-based screening technique is a promising platform to uncover GPCR ***, the intrinsic activities of them are seldom simultaneously determined during the *** beta2-adrenoceptor（β2AR） as a probe, this work created a strategy for screening GPCR ligands with simultaneous characterization of their downstream G protein binding responses associated with GTP. The strategy included（i） the design and expression of a protein miniature formed by β2AR and G protein α-subunit（Gαs） using circularly permuted HaloTag（cpHalo） as a flexible linker;（ii） immobilization of the miniature onto silica gel by a click dehalogenation reaction;（iii） systematic characterization of the immobilized miniature by fluorescent and chromatographic studies, and（iv） simulating of ligand-induced β2AR-Gαssignaling cascade by chromatographic assays using GTP as an indicator. The immobilized miniature exhibited specificity to β2AR and Gαsantibodies and ligands. The specificity is stable at least within fifteen days with the variation less than 1%. The intrinsic activities of β2AR ligands were distinguished by the changes of GTP chromatographic behaviors on Gαs-cpHalo-β2AR *** strengthened the binding affinity and kinetics of GTP with Gαs, while antagonist did not give any effect on them. With the intrinsic activity evaluation, we believe, it will improve the attributes of chromatographic methods for drug discovery efforts with minimizing false-positive results.

This paper mainly studies the influence maximization problem of threshold models in hypergraphs, which aims to identify the most influential nodes in hypergraphs. Firstly, we introduce a novel information diffusion rule in hypergraphs based on Threshold Models and conduct the stability analysis. Then we extend the CI-TM algorithm, originally designed for complex networks, to hypergraphs, denoted as the H-CI-TM algorithm. Secondly, we use an iterative approach to get the globally optimal solutions. The analysis reveals that our algorithm ultimately identifies the most influential set of nodes. Based on the numerical simulations, HCI-TM algorithm outperforms several competing algorithms in both synthetic and real-world hypergraphs. Essentially, when provided with the same number of initial seeds, our algorithm can achieve a larger activation size. Our method not only accurately assesses the influence of individual nodes but also identifies a set of nodes with greater impact. Furthermore, our results demonstrate good scalability when handling intricate relationships and large-scale *** outcomes of our research provide substantial support for the applications of the threshold models across diverse fields, including social network analysis and marketing strategies.

BACKGROUND Lymph node ratio(LNR)was demonstrated to play a crucial role in the prognosis of many ***,research concerning the prognostic value of LNR in postoperative gastric neuroendocrine neoplasm(NEN)patients was *** To explore the prognostic value of LNR in postoperative gastric NEN patients and to combine LNR to develop prognostic *** A total of 286 patients from the Surveillance,Epidemiology,and End Results database were divided into the training set and validation set at a ratio of 8:2.92 patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University in China were designated as a test *** regression analysis was used to explore the relationship between LNR and disease-specific survival(DSS)of gastric NEN *** survival forest(RSF)algorithm and Cox proportional hazards(CoxPH)analysis were applied to develop models to predict DSS respectively,and compared with the 8th edition American Joint Committee on Cancer(AJCC)tumornode-metastasis(TNM)*** Multivariate analyses indicated that LNR was an independent prognostic factor for postoperative gastric NEN patients and a higher LNR was accompanied by a higher risk of *** RSF model exhibited the best performance in predicting DSS,with the C-index in the test set being 0.769[95%confidence interval(CI):0.691-0.846]outperforming the CoxPH model(0.744,95%CI:0.665-0.822)and the 8th edition AJCC TNM staging(0.723,95%CI:0.613-0.833).The calibration curves and decision curve analysis(DCA)demonstrated the RSF model had good calibration and clinical ***,the RSF model could perform risk stratification and individual prognosis prediction *** A higher LNR indicated a lower DSS in postoperative gastric NEN *** RSF model outperformed the CoxPH model and the 8th edition AJCC TNM staging in the test set,showing potential in clinical practice.

Impaired brain glucose metabolism is an early indicator of Alzheimer’s disease(AD);however,the fundamental mechanism is *** this study,we found a substantial decline in isocitrate dehydrogenase 3β(IDH3β)levels,a critical tricarboxylic acid cycle enzyme,in AD patients and AD-transgenic mice’s *** investigations demonstrated that the knockdown of IDH3βinduced oxidation-phosphorylation uncoupling,leading to reduced energy metabolism and lactate *** resulting increased lactate,a source of lactyl,was found to promote histone lactylation,thereby enhancing the expression of paired-box gene 6(PAX6).As an inhibitory transcription factor of IDH3β,the elevated PAX6 in turn inhibited the expression of IDH3β,leading to tau hyperphosphorylation,synapse impairment,and learning and memory deficits resembling those seen in *** AD-transgenic mice,upregulating IDH3βand downregulating PAX6 were found to improve cognitive functioning and reverse AD-like ***,our data suggest that impaired oxidative phosphorylation accelerates AD progression via a positive feedback inhibition loop of IDH3β-lactate-PAX6-IDH3β.Breaking this loop by upregulating IDH3βor downregulating PAX6 attenuates AD neurodegeneration and cognitive impairments.
